Côte Amersham

First class service and excellent food. Our favourite Anersham restaurant against some serious competition.... well done!

Crab Mayonaise followed by Breton Fish Stew with a complimentary Birthday Kir Royale. My wife had the King Prawns followed by Steak Frite and French Fries. All absolutely lovely with quite a buzz despite the early evening - perhaps people were avoiding the Cup Final and Eurovision Song Contest!!

Such a shame they forgot the linguine with the seafood linguine, forgot the bread with the moules. Would hate to see how they cope on a busy evening - really struggled on a Wednesday with a couple of big groups in!

Again another lovely meal, consistently good. My husband enjoyed the fish stew as always, and the crab starter went down a treat. No problem for the coeliac amongst us either with her own menu, and we were welcomed with a warm friendly smile, before being shown to our table. A special mention to our waitress too, for looking after us so well, and a little banter. Great job, welll done

This is the third time now that the table we had booked was given over to another party. my wife (whose birthday it was) is now inclined to give Cote a miss in future. Sad! Management should take a very hard look at how reservations are recorded . Vincent Morris

We had a great meal in Amersham Old Town. From the moment we entered the restaurant the staff were there to greet us and take our order. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the cocktails served by Oskar! Excellent Duck!

As usual, a great meal. Although a bit disappointed not to be able to sample the rhubarb cocktail, we were given complimentary kid royale’s instead. A nice touch. Cote, Amersham, always a pleasure to visit.

A busy night but well staffed and all running well... friendly staff and beautiful food so a great time in a warm and homely restaurant. A bit noisy but it was extremely busy so was expected!

A lovely welcome. Tasty food nicely presented at a reasonable price by pleasant staff. The queries with the bill were sorted out quickly. I have visited Cote in different towns and have never been disappointed.

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the team were amazing, ensuring our every need was catered for. This was a really busy restaurant but we were made to feel special. The food was delicious too. Thank you 😁

Mother’s Day dinner, so expected it to be busy, but waiting time between courses was still too long. Asked for bill from two staff, both forgot, hence even longer wait. Food was good, as expected from Cote, and the set menu was excellent value. Due to Cote’s usual reliability to deliver a great dining experience in the past, think this time is only an occasional hiccup.

Excellent meal as always at the Amersham Cote. We had French Onion soup which was absolutely delicious, the mains were also outstanding. What makes Amersham so good is the staff. Every time we go in we have friendly, intelligent staff that are helpful and have great personalities. Well done Cote!

Had not been to a Cote before but visited Amersham branch with my sister last week and had a lovely lunch. Decided to do the same this week with a friend. The staff are lovely; friendly, polite and attentive, and the food was delicious. Thank you. I will definitely return!

I regularly visit this Amersham restaraunt both four lunch and dinner, with friends and family as the food and service is consistently good time and time again.

A delightful evening. Good food, a great selection of wine and charming waiter. We have dined here many times and have never been disappointed. We will be back.

My husbands said the sauce with his moules was no-where near as good as he’s had previously at Côte. They were quite busy but the restaurant was noisy and the service slow. We arrived at 1pm and came out at 3pm.

We went there for breakfast, and there was a good choice of breakfasts on the menu. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed and the service was as good as usual.

Great service and warm welcome. Our waitress was very attentive.

Another good meal in pleasant surroundings. Perhaps unusually for a Tuesday evening, the restaurant was pretty much full. The April menu went down well and we all enjoyed out time there. looking forward to next time.

As always we had a wonderful meal at Cote in Amersham. The staff were wonderfully friendly the food was fantastic and the restaurant had a really nice atmosphere. We look forward to going back again soon

Have had better main courses before. However overall a good meal and well looked after by the manager. We will return in the near future

We came for mother’s day tea and it was quite expensive, especially as children wanted a chocolate mousse and had to pay for an adults dessert.

Good Value and a good constant food standard. Noise level at back of restaurant poor very hard to hear much better in front part of restaurant

I really enjoyed the meal, very tasty sea bream and the creme caramel was delicious. I don’t usually have desert but was very pleased I did today. The service was very good and the waitress very pleasant.

Sunday Lunch with a family of 4 adults was a delight, warm welcome, good service and excellent food. What more could we ask for!

As a fairly regular group of diners at this Cote, we felt that although the food was up to it's usual high standard, the service was not as brisk as usual. aside from that, and a small hitch with the final bill, all very good.

As always the service was first rate. The food was delicious and the added touch of complimentary birthday fizz for the four of us and a candled desert for our birthday guest made the occasion even more special.

Very good ambience. Starters arrived as we were still eating bread and olives. Assumed coffee would arrive after our desserts, not before. Apart from that, very enjoyable.

The food was great, and the wine pairing worked really well. Also, the staff were amazing: professional and friendly. Thank you for making it a memorable Valentine's!

This was a birthday lunch with family members not all arriving on time. The staff were wonderful and completely unflappable and the food is also worth visiting Cote food, Thank you for your service. The restaurant is in a beautiful area and as expected a reservation was a very good idea.

We had a very nice meal on Bank Holiday Monday. Unfortunately, the Rhubarb Martini Cocktails were not available but the restaurant substituted for other drinks which was very good. The food was excellent as usual and good service.

Good atmosphere with friendly staff. Lovely breakfast and plenty of choice . Made to feel very welcome as a group of 7 with our one year old grandson.

Very enjoyable evening. Our waitress was knowledgeable and helpful, she made our family gathering perfect. We all loved our free Chocolate Mousses, super yummy. Only criticism is that it’s a shame the toilets don’t match the high standard of the restaurant area.

Lovely meal. When we booked we did request for a side booth or table in a quieter area (due to one of our party having a hearing difficulty). There was no suggestion at all this request was considered. The central area we were sat was , as usual, quite loud but as the restaurant emptied quietened down

This wasn't up to Cote's usual standard--I debated about 3 or 4 stars. The restaurant was very quiet and this affected the atmosphere, but the wait for our mains was longer than usual. The duck breast dishes were very good though could have been hotter. One of the T bone steaks had been butchered a bit too far and about 1/3 to 1/2 was inedible. You kindly deleted the cost though. Service was, as always, very good.

As always an authentic French Brasseri experience.For a chain Cote rings the changes with it’s menus and we enjoyed our meal last evening.A good value for money restaurant which we use on a regular basis.
