We had the Prestige set menu for lunch today and it was excellent. The waiter was very good, he served us very quickly with suggestions of wine with the meal and checked with us from time to time that everything was to our satisfaction. We were very impressed with the service.
We eat here several times a year. Food & drinks are always lovely. Our waiter Matt always takes great care of us.
It was a busy Thursday evening, my friend and I were quickly seated as we had a reservation. Promptly a waiter arrived to take our aperitif order and throughout our meal was very attentive to our requirements. Unfortunately, no scallops were available as stated on the menu but the garlic, chilli prawns were ordered instead and did not disappoint. For my main meal I ordered the Rib Eye Steak with béarnaise sauce. The meat was disappointing but it was cooked as I had requested it and was served hot. It was a relaxed enjoyable evening as always when I visit this restaurant.
We had the Valentines special. A very well balanced menu with matched wines. Huge fun, excellent food and wine. Very good value. We will be back
Welcoming, satisfying and relaxing end to a special day in Wimbledon.
Last minute booking and they managed to fit us in - excellent service. Family birthday celebration so the birthday dessert was a lovely touch. Thank you
We were given a very nice table out the way of the busy thoroughfare of the restaurant. Great restaurant. Tasty food, good service. Chilly toilets! Thank you
Love the ambience, the staff are great, attentive without feeling like they’re standing by your shoulder. Food is always good. The waiting time is perfect, not to slow but equally not to fast.
As always, a lovely evening at Cote. The food was very tasty and the staff extremely friendly and efficient.
Lovely food and great service. Really enjoyed the complimentary drink.
Excellent food and very good value for money. I would recommend the restaurant
This cafe has a very high level of customer service, the location is great, the quality of food is excellent and value for money fantastic! I was very pleased!
Fun time for a family celebration - attentive service throughout
Great staff, great service lovely relaxed atmosphere fabulous food, would recommend this restaurant to anybody with no hesitation, felt very comfortable and unhurried, go again anytime
I/we go maybe twice every week unless we are away. The service, food and ambience is ALWAYS yes ALWAYS of a very high standard and very, very competitively priced.
The fixed price menu was excellent value for money and very generous servings of the main dishes. Great ambience and not noisy like other restaurants. I will be visiting it regularly in the future.
Always fantastic Gerald and team Always fantastic Thank you again
The food is good and value for money and punches above its weight for price it’s fresh and portion size good i especially like the corn fed chicken in in sage for lunch.
We are regular visitors to Cote Wimbledon and as always the staff were friendly and efficient and the meal was perfect. We very much enjoyed the free offer of the cocktails.
Very enjoyable lunch again. Good food, well cooked and presented at a very good price. Ideal place for leisurely lunch with no hassle. Booked again for May.
Our group use your services on roughly a quarterly basis as we get together as previous work colleagues for a catch-up since we left work over 10 years ago.Your staff are always very accommodating with good service and smile which we appreciate greatly. Look forward to seeing you again shortly. Ken
Really lovely food, great staff and even got a complimentary champagne for our anniversary! We would highly recommend Côte Brasserie in Wimbledon for the wonderful service.
Apart from the seating manager trying to squish everyone who turned up for a 12pm booking into the front which is the smallest and coldest part of the restaurant whilst it was 90% empty at the back for at least the next 45 mins, it was a lovely experience. Our waitress was attentive and friendly to the right extent. 3 courses Mother’s Day set menu with a glass of Kir Royale could not be faulted in any way and is great value for money, hence full stars. Food was delicious. To have to beg to be moved with an inpatient manager was a let down but not reflective of our usual experiences of Cote generally and we are pretty much regulars.
Dreadful. Meals wrong. Since when did the meals on your a la carte not be the same as the set meal! Risotto Vert arrived, one with asparagus, two without (no mention of asparagus on either menu). And the set meal person got the a la carte version - but how was anyone meant to know that one! One with pesto in it and two without! Staff seemed stressed as this has clearly happened before. They did their best, but the late main course didn't help. Really disappointed as second poor meal at the Wimbledon branch. Staff are helpful and tried to correct, but a paltry discount means we won't return. As local Mums it was one of our preferred but we're off to the Giggling Squid next time. Poor show Cote you're better than that, or so I thought.
Excellent service, very helpful and friendly staff. Good menu with plenty of choices. We had an enjoyable and very relaxing time. Thank you.
There was a problem with my medium rare steak when it came as it was very well done. They offered to change it and in the end knocked off the cost of some drinks. Very professional. We will come again.
Reserving on line v easy, staff welcoming, and we enjoyed our lunch, as always Lovely and fresh and tasty. But I room for a desert, sadly!
Always great food and service.and atmosphere .x .have been going for years never had a bad meal.
Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and there was a lovely mother's day atmosphere, with many other families celebrating too! The champagne brunch was definitely a lovely idea!
It was a Lovely place to have brunch, really like the set menu, nice fresh options cooked properly. Service was polite and punctual, not noisy or overcrowded.
We have been going to Cote Wimbledon for years and the food and service has always been excellent. Unfortunately today there were some issues with the two starters and one of the desserts. The staff are always keen for feedback which was provided. Despite the disappointment this time the Manager was superb in dealing with the problems and he took appropriate and much appreciated action to rectify the matter.
Friendly well timed service. Excellent quality of food with great value for money. Recommend the house wine. Calamari with the chicken weekend special. Would expect to find the same for much more in central London.
A very enjoyable meal. The service was very good as was the quality of the food. A pleasant atmosphere but a little noisy owing to the place being full. We have been several times and will continue to do so. The Brasserie offers good value with a manageable expenditure.
One of my favourite restaurant food excellent. Staff always pleasent. Go as often as I can with my family.
Lovely food and great service. Fantastic free cocktail. We were the last group to leave the restaurant but the waiters were in no hurry to get us to leave
I would have given full marks for food and service apart from one thing. The use of iPad order taking seems to have taken away some of the personal touch/ability to have an informed discussion about the food. Several times during our order we asked questions or wanted to have a specific request but computer said no. This really brought down the experience and felt like we were ordering at MacDonalds rather than a good quality restaurant. When paper ordering happened you could say things like can I have it medium rare with emphasis on medium. And you’d get you’re steak cooked exactly that way, one of the things I loved about Cote. Now when asking this we got a ‘lecture’ on the cooking terms for steak quite insulting, we know these, we just wanted to give the chef a little more info. Have to be honest now food is ordered via iPad with no ability to have a discussion about how it comes, the MacDonalds feeling I’m left with has put Cote down my list for my steak fix. It used to be top, shame as food when it arrived was really good as usual.
Lovely atmosphere, great attentive service and delicious food. The steak was delicious and cooked perfectly, the best Calamari I have had and the chocolate mousse was delicious!! We will be back!!
Good value, great food and friendly efficient staff, we were all very happy with our evening out of Côte, a great atmosphere too, definitely a great local for us.
Our meal tonight was a great experience. Every course was good to very good, with prices that were good to very good as well. This is a busy, busy restaurant on a Saturday night, but there was a happy, bustling vibe about the place that didn't detract from the experience of eating here at all. What really impressed us, though, was the effort the staff went to to find us another table when we were unhappy with the one we'd been given (too close to an... unruly child). They really couldn't have done more to look after us. Very professional and very impressive.
Excellent food and service. The menu choices are really good it's hard to make a decision! we had both varieties of Moules which were delicious followed by duck and haddock dishes. Clean plates for all! Thank you
I was celebrating my birthday and so was my niece with family members. We had a wonderful evening and enjoyed beautifully cooked and well presented food. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was good. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.
Great staff good food good value for money. The original Cote is still very hard to beat and is a central part of the Wimbledon village Restaurant scene
Excellent food. Excellent service. Nice and relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be returning . Staff looked smart and ran the service on point . Thank you for a nice evening .
Average.... usually love Cote but the staff weren’t very warm or interested today. No chat or eye contact. Is there a new manager? The old manager used to be amazing. We live in Wimbledon Village and there are lots of restaurants locally and we’ll definitely go somewhere else next time, even though Cote has always been our ‘go-to’ choice. Not good enough.
We visit occasionally for a late breakfast on Saturdays. We have always enjoyed the food and the service. Great value accompanied with good service. Always a winner
We really enjoyed our meal. It was good and well presented. Very friendly staff as well. A relaxing French touch! Just missing complimentary bread to feel 100% French... Thanks for our evening !
Lovely staff very friendly. Food was great and steaks cooked as requested. A really nice lunch experience with the U3A ladies.
The food was excellent with a great specials menu. We had starters and main course. Staff highly professional and very attentive. Overall a lovely evening out and good value for money.
Lovely bistro style atmosphere, food as good as always. Complimentary drinks very acceptable. A regular haunt that remains high on our list!
We had the most fabulous tasty, tender, almost creamy steak. So delicious. The waiter was smiling and attentive and the service prompt. We left very happy!
