The service was very good. The pavlova is fantastic enough and recommended. Very good steak. Nice table and very pleasant and efficient staff. Will go again.
We have been to this restaurant many times and enjoy the food and wine which is always good and have got to know many of the staff who are always friendly and helpful.
Restaurant was extremely busy. We arrived early but got seated at our table. Unfortunately our table was squeezed into a very tight spot and we all felt a bit cramped. I was sitting with my back up against the next table's wine bucket. The service was excellent and the food good so I will return but will be more fussy about my table next time!!
Reliable local eatery. Good choice of Inexpensive freshly cooked food. Good atmosphere. Service a bit hit and miss on this occasion so only 5/6 rather than 6/6.
brilliant value for money.food and service very good. a very enjoyable experience this lunchtime. will have no hesitation in recommending to family and friends for lunch. only criticism was that inner door banged whenever someone came in or out.
We visited on Thursday night and the restaurant was busy but at no time were we kept waiting for drinks or to have our order taken. Very helpful staff and the food was excellent .
Wimbledon Cotes delivers a reliably consistent experience of food and service. I have been to several other branches in the London area and would choose this one every time.
The staff were attentive and the food good - it made for a fun evening! Will definitely be back in the not too distant future.

We have been coming to this restaurant for ten years. We know what to expect. Unfussy, relaxed family local with good tasty food at reasonable prices. Can be a bit noisy at times!
Loved it all great atmosphere great food great staff and great price. Take yourself or your family you will still have a great meal and it wont cost a fortune.
I was asked if I wanted my soup hot or cold. It was neither - just tepid! The Camembert was not ripe enough. The texture was good and runny, having been heated, but there was little taste. The peach crumble appeared like tinned peaches - not fresh fruit.
So welcoming as always and great service. I was really impressed with the way the waiter engaged with our teenage children. As a coeliac, I know I can always rely on cote for uncontanimated gluten free food.
Really friendly staff and great food, love this place. You're made to feel very welcome from the moment you walk in, everyone is relaxed but efficient and the food is always great.
I a regular visitor to Cote Wimbledon. It is always a great experience. Good choice on the menu and staff who go out of they way to make your evening enjoyable .
Good solid food as always - we took the early evening menue plus the beautiful crab starter. Can't fault it, there's a choice now of min. 6 starters/mains/desserts each on this menue which helps.
Great restaurant, friendly team, good location and tasty food. Was very busy but service was fast and efficient and very friendly. Will return for sure
The food was great. I visited with my 13 year old and he was impressed. The staff were friendly & polite. Overall, it was worth the visit.
Wonderful meal and terrific service! We ate off the set menu and there was so much choice. Will definitely return! Great wine recommendation and we were able to try it for free first.
LOvely friendly staff and quick service. The food was fantastic as usual and they catered to all our demands. Great atmosphere. Will definitely return again.
Cote Wimbledon usually delivers excellent food and great service and, bar our waiter refusing initially to give us the screw top for our sparkling water (some nonsense about not having an off-licence which, of course, only refers to alcoholic beverages), our food was good and accompanied, generally (it was quite busy) by timely service. On this occasion, however, we were incredibly sorry for the young couple at the table next door. Her main course was served barely warm and had to be returned. The correct thing, at this point, would have been to ask her partner if he wished his order to be taken away too so both dishes could subsequently be served together. Even if this meant his dish having to be re-cooked from fresh. What actually happened was that her dish turned up barely seconds after her partner had finished his, eating slowly, some 15 minutes later. Hardly makes for a romantic dinner. She ate in silence and they left soon afterwards without having a dessert. As a past restaurateur I think there is an important lesson to be learnt here: what price your reputation? This is the way to lose it.
Excellent! Having visited the Sloane Square branch a few times, a similar experience was expected here. How wrong can you be? The food and wine were very good, as expected with 'Cotes', but our waiter 'Gabrielle' was what made our visit all the more memorable, his personality shining throughout the meal and providing that 'little bit extra' which is the mark of someone well versed in the hospitality trade. Ten out of ten to Gabrielle and, speaking as an ex-catering manager myself, if I were looking to promote from within the existing staff, I would give him every opportunity to prove himself. Overall an excellent meal and I shall certainly be going to the Wimbledon Village branch again.
I really like cote. I go there frequently and am impressed with the food and service. Its also exceptionally good value so a good experience all round.
Restaurant was very noisy, and there was a serious overcharge error on our bill. This was corected when pointed out and free coffees offered by way of an apology. Food was good.
set in the heart of Wimbledon village, Cote Bistro is a lovely place for casual dining. food came swiftly. Steak was delicious and perfectly prepared. the half roast chicken was however really dry and tasteless. Waiters were helpful.
Excellent meal matched with excellent service. Only small complaint was the mains were served straight after starters. Would have preferred a little gap between courses.
Good varied menus. Set daily menu is exceptional value. Efficient and friendly service. Good value for money. The only criticism is of the restaurant itself which lacks atmosphere.
Busy bank holiday evening, but reliable menu. Good food early evening supper menu, good value and range of choice. Slowish service tonight, but able to enjoy meal without feeling rushed.
Great good. Good value. Has always been a go-to location for a decently priced meal. Tend to lean towards their afternoon / evening fixed menu.
The food is always good at Cote. I have given 5 and not 6 as the green beans weren't cooked enough - they were almost raw and not just al dente - but they did take them off our bill.
Overall pleasant experience. Wouldn't say the food was spectacular but it's good standby in the neighbourhood. Sunday dinner specials are good value for Monet. Good options for teen/kids as well.
Very busy on the night we went, which resulted in an ordering error. A little disappointed in the size of the haddock I ordered, it came wrapped in bacon and was tasty enough, but it was only the size of a large fish finger. Like many retail outlets Cote seem to be struggling to maintain price points on their menu, which is resulting in smaller portions, the fillet steak weighs only 7 ozs, hardly a man size portion. Nevertheless Cote maintain their friendly service and good food offering.
Helpful friendly service and a lovely tasty lunch. The Cote de Boeuf was excellent and kir royal a good start to the meal. Cote doesn't disappoint
Excellent service with friendly staff. Food was very good quality with decent sized portions. The pork belly was beautifully cooked and the accompanying vegetables had a lovely flavour. First time I've eaten at Cote Brasserie but would definitely go back.
great little restaurant, didn't seem a large chain, but a lovely warm family restaurant. Our waiter was first class, he even suggested what type of wine to have with the food that we were having.
Was extremely disappointed with the food everything arrived cold I'm very surprised as usually we go to the other branch in Westbourne grove Notting hill and it's great always consistent and we've also eaten in many other branches. Service was good here but the food was bad so we won't be returning.
Had requested if possible a booth-style table for the 5 of us. Waiter clearly had no idea - so this request hadn't been passed on. Fortunately one was available. 2 course meal very pleasant and served quite quickly. Long wait for coffees. Very noisy environment - a lot of hard surfaces
Great service, quick service, good choice of food - particularly from set menu which is incredibly good value. Pleasant ambience, not noisy. We go here a lot!
Starters were good but one of the mains was cold and they took ages to replace it. When it did come it tasted burnt. Offered us a free drink for the issue.
We were a party of 6 and we hadn't met for a while so we appreciated not being rushed for our order and food. One of us had the lamb with asparagus - the lamb was undercooked (request medium but it was more rare) and the asparagus was stringy. We complained, and was not charged for the meal. So guest recovery was excellent.
It is very boring to ask this question every time we go to Cote as all the locations are exactly the same. Good value for money venues
Early evening Dinner, before the Theatre . Food Fabulous as usual , with very attentive Staff . The great thing about Cotes is that you can expect the same high standards at all Venues .
Service and food were excellent. However our visit was marred by a couple with a screaming baby being seated closely beside us! We were mid meal so couldn't really move.
Very enjoyable but tables along the left wall as you enter are far too close together. Unable to get out to the bathroom if you are sat on the sofa back part and more than a couple of people pulled table cloths and cutlery items with them whilst trying to get in and out. Otherwise great.
We had a very pleasant lunch. Food was good Our regular! We were at this Cote at a trial before it opened....have been going ever since. This Cote is better than others we also visit. Downstairs loo a bit of a trek!! We really like this place
Busy, noisy, slightly forgetful waiter but lovely food. Slow service. Not attentive at the right times - only during the time we were eating ! Wouldn't rush back. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be shouting . Good choice on the menu and pleasant surroundings.
I would ask next time for quieter parts of the restaurant away from large groups. The noise levels on a busy night were uncomfortable. The food was, as always, delicious and the service was excellent.
We had an excellent meal with excellent service. The atmosphere in Cote Restaurants is universally extremely good, so we were not disappointed. We will be returning again soon!
Staff friendly. Service good, fast and efficient. Food a bit disappointing. I had the risotto with peas and goat cheese, which I found rather stodgy. My husband had the pisadilliere starter, which he found rather boring.
We had a very nice evening....very nice staff....good food well cooked and well presented.... plenty to eat...Côte had a great menu choice... all of which sounded fab...and to be fair tasted good.
