Côte Wimbledon

A lovely meal, as usual. The only negative about the evening was that the lights were flickering, which was a little irritating / distracting.

I go to Cote about once a month and always have a nice meal however last week my friend and I had a fabulous meal. We booked the early menu and had parsnip soup followed by the steak - absolutely delicious.

Great staff, yummy food, and amazing people watching .... perfect Starter the ‘never fail’ prawn gratinee - simple, warming, tasty Went for the cod special - creamy sauce, perfect fish, and yummy extra side potato gratin Other half did sea bass - two perfect cooked fillets Shared a creme brûlée.... Yummy glass of bubbles, decent large glass of red each (number 26 - red berries) Our dining companions around us swapped over during the night ... we left as the serious bling rings were arriving Well worth it. Fab food, no rush, fun Lovely staff - tip well

Very good meal. We were pushed for time as we were heading to an event, but as is usual the service was great. This is a very good, reliable eatery. All four of us were very happy with out choices. I return here time and time again for it's consistency and good value.

I'm afraid that I always say the same about this restaurant - it's excellent quality and value. The staff are always friendly and attentive and there's a good atmosphere as it's not too large. Our favourite Cote.

Thursday November 16 : Very satisfactory - good food and service. I do feel though that a 10% rather than 12.5% service charge would be preferable. We will be back in early January.

This is one of five Cote rest. I visit regularly. Always a warm reception, very well trained staff and such a great value menu for those In a hurry or those looking for a leasurly sojourn.

The food was good, the wine flowed, the company was great as was the service. There was a wonderful buzz. It is always a pleasure to return to Cote Wimbledon.

Eggs were cold and the white was raw, complained and waiter said "in my opinion poached eggs should be a bit raw". We didn't ask his opinion and this was in response to him asking us how our meal was. we were given replacement eggs but again cold. sub-standard and bad service.

Everything at Cote was as good as normal. However, it seems apparent that any special request are ignored at the Wimbledon branch. Overal though very good

Very good meal from the three course set menu plus a side order of creamed spinach - very tasty and excellent quality. Service very friendly and attentive. Lovely table, so was great experience!

Excellent service and excellent food as always we regularly eat at Cote Wimbledon and highly recommend this restaurant the vegetarian breakfast is superb as were the other brunch dishes chosen by our guests

Great meal. Excellent service. Prawns in chilli tomato salsa, cote de bouef chips bernaise, crepe chocolate praline, white house wine. Very busy, must book. Good value.

Wanted a quick early supper for 2 and this was an excellent choice. I had 2 courses off the set menu - steak and frites, always good and the crumble - which could have been hotter. Partner had the cod special - portion a bit small. Would have been helpful if waitress had suggested a veg, although she was being trained.

A great dinner as always; even on a Tuesday night this restaurant was packed and buzzing. The tables could be slightly better arranged as you do feel like couples sit on top of each other a little. Overall though, a solid dinner choice.

Food was very tasty, hot and well presented. Great atmosphere, surprisingly busy for a Monday night. Staff were very attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommended.

As ever, food, service and value top notch. The pre 7pm menu has a broad selection and is a total bargain. My parents (70s) loved it too.

The waiter didn't pay much attention to us as we were waiting for a while. We also needed to remind him a couple of things we order as he forgot them.

Excellent boudin noir, cassoulet, ice cream / parsnip soup, steak, crumble plus wine and coffee. Service friendly, helpful, but not always totally accurate (I think because of language difficulties). Overall a very nice lunch, even by Cote standards.

Good food and reasonably priced. Started with prawn grating and then shared the Cote de boeuf with a friend which was cooked beautifully - medium rare and a large serving. Would have preferred a little more seasoning but that was easily resolved. Service was a little sluggish compared to earlier visits but not frustratingly so.

Lovely food, and decent portions, but service disappointing as very slow. Main course took 90 minutes to arrive after we sat down. Busy and noisy this evening.

Had an excellent French Breakfast and super coffee. Very good value for money The service was god and a great relaxing ambience. Well done the chef.

As ever, we had an excellent meal with attentive service in a relaxed atmosphere - all at a very reasonable price. Wimbledon remains our favourite Cote!

Had a evening meal, great food served quickly. Even though they got both our orders wrong they were very helpful to rectified and gave us a reduction off the bill. Chips could of been hotter and my friend tasted washing up liquid from her beer!

Excellent as usual. It was a treat for a friend and could not have been nicer. Lovely waitress I have never been disappointed with Cote.

This is a lovely restaurant with exquisite food the chef is to be commened. The service by the staff is fantastic and the front of house vety professional. I would definitely recommend Cotes for Lunch or Dinner.

Service and ambiance was good. My starter (steak tartare) was ok but my boeuf bourguignon was not good - meat was tough and the flavours were not those of a good stew. I'm sure the meat is ok but maybe worth cooking for longer

The rewards program is a shambles - food and service good - portions are very small - better for breakfast than dinner - avoid in future

Cote Wimbledon always a pleasant experience. I go on Friday evenings with my friend and we enjoy ourselves. Food is good, great value, arriving before 7 . Staff are very pleasant and helpful.

We had a fantastic lunch, really enjoyed! Tasty parsnip soup, terrine with toast and 2x Chicken salads which were very fresh. Just had a problem hearing each other initially as the restaurant was so busy! Will be back!

lovely as always, such lovely food and staff, we always come back to this restaurant. the staff were very helpful and a group of six of us had great fun.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was cooked well and delicious. A wonderful Lunchtime with friends! A perfect venue for a special occasion.

We had excellent service and the food was great at a reasonable price. I can’t resist the calamari and the Sunday special Breton chicken is tasty and good value

Good quality roast chicken dish together Sauvignon Blanc. Delicious! Friendly staff who advised us of where their restaurants are which are situated near our home.

Friendly service, very good pre 7pm menu. The restaurant was packed by 6.30 so get there a bit earlier than planned in order to get your choice of table. Always a great atmosphere at Cote and always a good experience. Thank you everyone!

For first time food was disappointing (aubergine not cooked, crumble had a particular taste which my 3 guest wouldn’t eat but these was not billed)

Great ambience, very busy bistro. Attentive staff and good food, steak excellent, best mushroom soup ever tasted, brioche pudding to die for. Make sure you book because I'll guarantee you will not be able to just'' walk in ''!

The food was excellent, and going later was unexpectedly pleasant. But when trying to use a discount voucher the staff made us feel very uncomfortable.

The food was excellent as always and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed it - especially our 3 teenage children who have suddenly acquired a more sophisticated palette. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
