Nice food! Nice ambience! Service was good. Poached eggs weren’t the best I’ve had but didn’t stop me enjoying the meal! I’d head for breakfast again!
excellent service, great food - easy to book, the vegetarian breakfast is the best in London, the sausages are like no others I have ever tasted
Just what we wanted, a light meal before Christmas Day. Staff very helpful. We sat near the door so it was quiet, much better than our local Cote in Harpenden
The food was nice and I was impressed that there was a separate vegetarian menu with so many options on it. The service was very slow though and as a result we couldn't order the desserts or coffee we wanted as we had to leave to get to the cinema on time. We were waiting for nearly half an hour after we finished our main course to be asked if we wanted dessert and by that point it was just too late.
As usual, a pleasure to have dinner at Cote Winbledon. Delighted wiht the Christmas dinner proposed this year. Finally, also thanks to the wonderful team, they always wecome you with a smile..!
Over charged by £20 for a bottle of wine rather than the glass we had. Food was good though. Just let down by the service.
This time the starter Calimari was very dry and chewy whereas the main course ribeye was below standard! It wads great disappontment for my. guest
Great service, very friendly and helpful staff, mostly great food too. The only thing I was disappointed with was that the duck was a little over cooked and not served pink as the menu stated. A shame as when I've had it served pink in the past it was perfect, but still tasted good and all round a beautiful evening.
We had the Christmas set menu. Two courses each. And a large glass of rose wine each! Service was excellent. The food was nicely presented and tasty. It was busy but the staff coped well. An enjoyable venue in Wimbledon Village.
This chain has been consistently good for years and the one in Wimbledon Village is often full. The formula is key - good choice on the menu, mix of French standard items plus others, a few specials to keep regulars happy, simple cooking, no over the top fancy presentation but still looking good, really tasty, right quantity and all at a sensible price. That same formula (and the prices) is to be found in whichever Cote you dine, so you know you'll be fed and watered well.
Nice evening . Good food and service . Lovely staff . Overall Cote in Wimbledon is a Gem , we went on a family birthday and was not disappointed
Staff are always fab, remembering who you are and making an effort to make the evening extra special. Can never go wrong
Attended to straight away and offered a choice of tables. Service was excellent and the food equally so. Would recommend and will definitely be back.
Why eat anywhere else? The unpretentious, down-home, 'you can never have too much butter' French food is always delicious, the service staff are friendly and marvelous, and the prices are fantastic value.
Lunching with five friends,we all enjoyed our food. Steaks were good ,sea bass very tasty. Service was very good considering the very busy restaurant. Always like the ambience in the Wimbledon one.
Very nice meal. The chicken actually tastes of chicken! Very reasonably priced, too, especially the 'before 7 pm' menu for 2 or 3 courses. Second time here and can heartily recommend this restaurant.
Food was very good, as always, but this evening our waiter was not up to Cote''s usual standard of customer service. Rather spoiled the experience for my guests
A very enjoyable evening. A good atmosphere in the restaurant, good service and and choices on the menu. The food was well presented and nicely. Would use this Cote again.
Lovely food and good service. Twenty five words not needed to describe our experience at Cote in Wimbledon Village. Have been before and will go again
Very busy when we went so noisy and we waited for our food longer than usual. My friends starter was cold but still edible. Overall still a good experience.
Great service, would highly recommend. We had someone in our party who has a nut allergy and they couldn't have been more attentive which meant we could relax and enjoy the evening.
Great experience. Table for 3 ready. All had set menu. Both my choices delicious. Others happy too. Excellent value n good service. I also like having lots water to drink with no hassle or fat charge ( I dobt drink alcohol). Others enjoyed wine. Only drawback is noise level due to hard surfaces. Thanks Côte .
Always amazing service and a varied seasonal menu. We can find something different each week we come back, week after week. Great food, wine and puddings.
Lovely service and excellent salad and chicken forestiere . Great choices and the lunch and early evening menu good value and full of interesting choices !
The food at Côte is always delicious, and today was no exception. It is well cooked with good flavours. The service was good, fairly attentive and friendly. I will definitely visit again.
As usual the service and ambience at Côte Wimbledon Village was excellent. I ordered halibut, the first time on the menu and it was absolutely delicious and very reasonable priced. I have paid much more for halibut in restaurants and it has not been any better. I can strongly recommend both the restaurant and the halibut.
Service is top notch, food and coffee excellent. The staff are so welcoming and the restaurant is lovely. I highly recommend Core to anyone who wants a lovely place for any meal.
We had a wonderful evening with excellent food and waiting staff were very helpful and attentive. It is a great place for a family special meal out.
Table was booked for 6.30 so that we could take advantage of the early eve menu. I had to ask for it as it wasn't on the table as it usually is. A similar thing happened to a friend of mine who also went early but she was only given the Christmas 'special' menu.
Excellent food on the lunch time menu today for a very reasonable price. Service was excellent too - attentive but not intrusive. A very enjoyable experience all round.
Good experience.Menu choice was good. Service prompt, in fact we had to ask for more time. We all had set menu which was good. Not too noisy despite being Friday lunch time. All in all very happy with everything.
nice service as always -but the menu is now old and tired -needs a relaunch-we struggled to find anything we had not had before.Christmas menu is too expensive
Fantastic food, service and environment. The set menu is extraordinary value without compromise on quality. Cote continue to be the best chain in London and beyond.
Good, attentive service, food and a pleasant atmosphere for a pre-concert meal with my brother. Also nice and local for us both always quite reliable.
The food is very good. There is always quite a good choice on top of all the staples. The seasonal variety is appreciated. The restaurant was very busy, but the service was good, there was no long wait for anything. Good atmosphere. Enjoyable place to meet friends.
Good atmosphere. Food was good and service prompt. However, we had four menus to choose from - a daily lunch menu, a cheaper Chtistmas menu, a more expensive Christmas menu and finally an Al a Carte menu! I'd never seen so much paper on the table. Sorry forgot! A children's menu too.
Very disappointing meal 3 of us ordered the weekend special chicken which had obviosly been sitting in the food lift waiting for a steak order to be cooked as it went cold very quickly so we had to ask the waiter to warm it up for us twice ! And I thought the sauce on it tasted like packet gravy. The steak was ok though. Now usually our local Côte (Teddington) would apologise and offer us a discount on the bill or a complimentary drink if we weren’t happy but it seems the Wimbledon branch doesn’t think this to be necessary. Sorry Côte Wimbledon but you have failed miserably on this occasion and I won’t be returning to this branch!
This was my 3rd trip to Cote Wimbledon, and once again it didn’t disappoint. Very enjoyable three course lunch - opted for the christmas menu. Great service!
Excellent food as ever. Consistently good too which is why all Côte restaurants are so good. More franchises should follow their model and it clearly works.
Attentive staff (but not bothersome), great atmosphere and superb food as always! The Wimbledon restaurant is consistently good and you are always guaranteed a enjoyable experience.
Absolutely fabulous can't wait to go again! Food delicious, service excellent and very friendly and helpful waiters and waitresses and a really buzzy electric atmosphere proving the restaurant has got it absolutely right!
Another tasty meal at Cote with a delicious crab mayonnaise to start with. Attentive service and got lovely table. Reliably good quality in every way which is why we like to go again and again. Thanks for this!
We go to Cote regularly for an informal meal. The food is good, well cooked beautifully presented and tastes delicious. Service excellent and the prices are very very reasonable. If you are planning to eat dinner, it's always advisable to book, I've seen many disappointed customers turned away due to lack of seating space!
Great restaurant and nice atmosphere. We went at 19:30 on a Sunday evening and it was fairly quiet. Attentive service and good food as always.
Went during Wimbledon tennis, place was buzzing - lovely atmosphere- unfortunately pouring down with rain outside. Meal was very tasty and wine very good. Service attentive for such a busy time.
Nice food and great staff. I would just ask to reconsider the evening Menu and also include the Moules for people that work full time and cannot be there before 7. Otherwise very good.
Staff very efficient in the Wimbledon Village branch. The food was delicious food. Managed the two course offer within the hour. Perfect for a work lunch.
My family and I were very well looked after and the food was first class. When my wife complained that her meal wasn't hot enough, the staff quickly heated it up and deducted some money from the final bill. All in all it was an excellent dining experience and we shall certainly be returning to Cote in the near future.
Very busy on a Friday evening. Waiting staff seemed stretched. Good and wine were very very nice however there was a hair in my salad that I told the management about and my meal was refunded and they were apologetic.
