Côte Wimbledon

Enjoyed my meal except for the creamed spinach which wasn’t up to its usual standard. I mentioned it to staff, they took it off the bill which was kind but more importantly they took it on board because I’ve eaten here a lot and 99% of the time the food has been excellent. Service was excellent as usual today. I alway think this branch is worth a visit.

We had the new set menu which was very good with a bottle of house wine.The service was good and the staff were very helpful. Will be back soon.

Excellent food and wine. Menu varied and interesting. Good efficient and friendly service. Nice table in the window but too near the door leading to cold draughts each time someone entered or left.

The food was excellent, The steak was the best tasted for a long time. The service was efficient and discreet. The select menu was value for money.

Cote does what it does and it does it well, steaks, burgers simple fayre at a good price with great service and always with a smile

Enjoyed the meal though they'd run out of the sea bass which I tried to order. Thought it might be quiet being a Sunday evening but pretty full.

Lovely lunch and great service. Food always good value for money and staff friendly and prompt. A firm favourite for us in Wimbledon Village. Excellent!

We were a large party but our waitress knew exactly how to serve us , did not hurry us at all. As usual for Cote an excellent experience.

Tops as always. Good steak . Good value fixes menu. Good service. Lively atmosphere. Will be going back this weekend for my weekly fix of Cote hospitality.

We had a lovely meal. The service was great and the food as yummy as usual.

Friendly, helpful staff, good food, reasonable prices. No piped music. Good ambiance. Service efficient but not over-attentive. I would go there again. Bit difficult to park.

The staff turned the heating off at around 2215 so cold air was blowing in from the vents. The restaurant was almost completely empty by 2230 as customers hurried to pay their bills and get their coats on. The consensus of opinion among the customers was that the staff wanted to go off clubbing early.

Love this place, reasonable prices good service and great food! We felt comfortable as a large group, our meals arrived together and we were well attended throughout the evening.

Usually we eat from the set menu but for the first time ever there was nothing I fancied on the mains list (that’s not to say they weren’t as good as usual - just nothing I fancied), so I opted for the Premiere menu and I was certainly not disappointed. The restaurant was busier than usual at lunchtime but that may have been because it was Friday - we usually go midweek. The staff were quiet efficiency as usual and once we had ordered, the food was swift to arrive. Not rushed, not bothered, not interrupted, no hassle - the best place we’ve found to go for a long, leisurely lunch. Now it’s our regular lunchtime haunt and, booking through Quandoo, we’ve reached our first payback milestone. Here’s to many more.

As usual Wimbledon Cote was very busy and therefore noisy but that gives it a certain enjoyable atmosphere. The food was up to the usual high standards and all four of us cleared our plates. The only downside was the proximity of our table to the table behind us and the constant upsetting "shoving" as the other guests continually pushed the closest individual from our table. If the restaurant was not so full we would have requested to move tables.

We both had the set meal with a nice bottle of red wine. The service was very good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Will be going back very soon.

Have been here many times before. Food and service as good as ever. Navarin of Pork was excellent today; as was the salmon and puddings on the lunch menu.

The food and staff were very good, but we were sitting by the door, and every time the door opened we had a blast of very cold air!! Finally we asked to be moved, to eat pudding, which they did without problem, but I do think that particular table should be moved for the winter months!!

We enjoyed the early evening set menu. Very tasty cauliflower soup, perfect for a cold winter's evening. The langoustine tails had a crunchy coating and the rocket was very fresh. My friends loved the chicken, and I had the roast seabass which had lovely crispy skin. Very good value, and firendly attentive service.

Very good evening we both had Duck and a nice bottle of wine which was very good. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly and service was good.

Côté is one of my favourite restaurants . Value for money and very convenient place to go. Their opening hours is also very accommodating. Everything is cooked well over average restaurants and all the waters and waitress are very welcoming and professional as well.

Excellent service provided, a lovely atmosphere inside and a wonderful menu. Especially good for brunch: plenty of variety and a relaxed reservation system so people can arrive at different times

Great service at Cote Wimbledon. Staff were attentive and friendly and actually made you feel most welcome. I do not live in the Wimbledon area but would gladly return to Cote Wimbledon

Always great service from friendly staff and very good food at the right price. Our favourite restaurant as consistency is a regular event with Wimbledon and Kingston.

It was a special New Years Wve menu which we had been unaware of when we booked and the restaurant didn’t mention this when they called to reconfirm. The menu was very nice and had a good choice so we were happy with it. Unfortunately our table for four was by the entrance so we had a stream of other diners entering on a cold winter’s night and we were cold. We had asked to move to another table on arrival but no effort was made to move us for the entire evening which was disappointing whereas diners who arrived later were seated at tables further from the door. As a regular visitor to this Cote I wasn’t impressed.

Not visited this branch before but received a warm welcome. Obviously a lot of regulars go there and were recognised by the staff. Set lunch menu was excellent value - the coq au vin was delicious

Popped in for an early dinner as no food at home when we got back after Christmas away. Food hot and tasty, service very good and house wine very drinkable. Excellent value and would certainly recommend this Côte.

Fast and courteous service despite being full, Drinks served quickly. Food excellent, with three different choices and one child's meal. Al generous helpings. Plenty of space between tables. Not cheap though but reasonable in comparison with other Wimbledon restaurants

As ever perfect meal and super perfect friendly staff! Have been patrons since Cote Wimbledon first day of opening......incredible value for money and the loveliest people serving!

Very good Christmas menu and at a fair price. Especially good and extensive gluten free menu for my friend. An enjoyable evening had by all.

Cote is my go-to restaurant in Wimbledon if I want an excellent meal of high quality, in a relaxing atmosphere with attentive and friendly staff. Whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner, I always leave satisfied.

Been here a couple of times with family with severe food allergy and they have been incredibly careful, we feel safe to eat here and respected as customers. Tasty food too, always consistent standard. Will be back.

Went for dinner. I had Duck and Orange, my friend has the set meal. It was very busy but the service was good and the staff were very friendly. Will return in the New Year

Great service. Steaks were delicious. Great buzz to the place. A good recommendation of wine to accompany ou food. Easy to see why it’s so popular.

We had a very enjoyable Christmas lunch at a nice quiet table which we had requested. The food was very good as always and caters for all tastes.

Another lovely lunch at Cote. Busy with Christmas lunches for large groups as well as couples but good service and good food as usual. We arrived at one, groups came in, ate and left and we were still there at four - no pressure to leave and just a lovely relaxed afternoon. Cote is our go to restaurant now and we will revisit in the new year. Happy Christmas to all the staff who work really hard to make each visit enjoyable.

Enjoyed a lovely meal at Cote Wimbledon Village. Service swift, food excellent, steaks cooked to perfection. Ambiance busy but not too noisy. Word of warning we were seated near the door in a little alcove but it was still chilly at times.

We were a party of 3 Ladies, arrived for our booking at 4pm, we were greeted by the waitress and we chose where we wanted to sit, Cote was not particularly busy for a late afternoon lunch service, the Waitress was very Curt and seemed unprofessional and not very happy at all, we don't know if she was having a bad day, we asked for tap water and she replied in an off hand manor that it comes to the table anyway, without asking, we didn't know this, she took our order and I asked for extra potatoes, she said it already came with potatoes so I didn't need anymore! Our starters came and were served by another very friendly waiter, which was nice, and we all thought the lunch was nice and tasty, including the glass of champagne I had too, we ordered desserts and because we had chosen off the set menu we had to have the desserts on that menu, I wanted a dessert on the other set menu and I was happy to pay the extra! But No I wasen't allowed, when it came to paying the bill for the meal, I told the waiter that I wasen't prepared and all 3 of us agreed that we did not want to pay the discrectionary 12.5 service charge, because of the appauling way we were treated by the Waitress, who was serving us at the table, the waiter spoke to the Manager who came over and spoke to us and we explained about the waitress service and was very nice and apologised to us and offered us free drinks each, but we declined, he went away and bought the bill back and took the price of the Bread and Drinks off our bill, which was nice of him to do for us, we told him we were visiting Wimbledon for the Panto, but would not come back to eat at Cote again, because of the awful waitress service.!

As usual Cote lived up to expectations - the food was delicious- my steak was great and the brioche bread and butter pudding was amazing. The staff are always so helpful too.

Good service from responsive waiting staff. Food was tasty and arrived without long delays. Although Cote is a chain restaurant it doesn't feel formulaic, as can be the case in other places.

The food and service is very good. I have been eating at cote in Wimbledon for a long time. The set menu is great value.
