Côte Wimbledon

Côte is an excellent chain of restaurants and I’d say the Wimbledon branch is one of their best. Great staff, very prompt service from the kitchens, the menu offers a good choice and the food is consistently prepared well. Recommended.

Last visit before Christmas and everything was as good as it ever is. The staff were attentive but not intrusive which is a bonus these days. We’re just able to eat at our pace with no one hurrying us up. Needless to say we usually have about four hours for lunch, the staff change shifts, eat their meals and it’s all very cordial. We’ll be back in the New Year.

Not as good value for money due to price increase on lunch/early evening menu. Fish Parmentier with haddock was too salty but other dishes enjoyed by all of us. Would recommend.

Excellent service and a good meal. Just one fault, the white chocolate sauce was not hot enough for the iced berries. Otherwise it would have been five stars! Thank you Cote Wimbledon. We will be back in the New Year.

Very good but one thing ,noise. Acoustics are not brilliant but it is totally unnecessary to have music playing which makes matters worse

We always have a great meal and fantastic service at the Wimbledon Cote. On this visit I had the scallops with black pudding because I had not seen that before. Delicious. My husband had the great value 1/2 chicken weekend special. We also had an espresso martini drink of the month, which was refreshing. We'll be back!

We were here for brunch on a Saturday morning and had an amazing time. The food was delicious. The coffee and fresh orange juice were so good. The staff were very attentive and provided an amazing customer service. I will definitely be back again for more brunches!

None of my work colleagues had been to a Cote Restaurant before. They were all delighted with everything. It was one of the most successful work events I have organised. They all said they would go again.

Excellent service and excellent food from Coté Wimbledon. Personally greeted on arrival. The food was superb - we chose from the Christmas menu. Gradvalax and Calamari was tasty and one of the freshest we have experienced- compliments to the chef. The steak was good, however ever so slightly overdone (request for medium), but as plates were warm (which I really like), the steak continues to cook a little more. The dessert was amazing, the chef managed to ensure the top of the Creme brûlée was not too hard - sometimes you cannot crack the top, but this dessert was perfect- the inner dessert was creamy and delicious! We started our evening with a glass of Taittinger champagne followed by a juicy steak with a lovely Bordeaux. The service was attentive, informative & friendly without being intrusive just perfect. We finished our meal with delicious creme brûlée & apple crumble, thoroughly satisfying, would happily recommend this Cote for an enjoyable evening out.

We had the Prestige menu this time which was very good with a bottle of wine. The service once again was good. We will return.

I was offered the table that I liked by the manager and the waitress was courteous. Liked the menu which has a wide range of options. House red was good and the dessert was delicious

Despite an initial table problem (I'm a large gentlemen so cannot sit comfortably at the fixed banquette tables and the only other initial option was by the main door which, on past experience, can produce icy drafts when it is cold outside), it all settled down well and we enjoyed the normal high standard of food and service, all at a reasonable price, especially for Wimbledon Village. An above average and ever reliable haunt for those who want good food in convivial surroundings.

Cote continues to give excellent value for money. Food is always well prepared, nicely presented and delicious! Noise levels are quite high and this applies to all Cote restaurants we visit - no idea why, perhaps just sheer numbers of diners!

We had a very pleasant experience at Côte Wimbledon. Our complimentary Kir Royals arrived imminently and staff were always on hand to serve us.

Very pleasant manager and attentive waitress. Cote caters well for my gluten free diet. The beef borgignon was delicious!!

Charming staff, as ever, and reliably good food - thank you. Only two small criticisms: it was quite noisy (more so than on previous visits, I think) and also the gratin dauphinoise was not up to usual standard - the cream had evidently been added at the end of the cooking, rather than the beginning, so had not melded with the potatoes at all. But we had a very enjoyable visit nonetheless.

Food & service very good. The main problem is the noise - even when the restaurant is not full the noise seems to carry and is disturbing.

A lovely, reasonably priced restaurant in a good location. Surprisingly spacious inside! Service was friendly and efficient and my daughter’s birthday party guests were well cared for. Food was very good and the menu had decent variety. I would visit again!
