There seemed to be a rather long delay in getting our food, they were very busy! But they were very gracious about all of this.
Food was as lovely as usual, service ok and the place buzzy with lots of people which I like but unfortunately we were sat next to a particularly noisy crowd that made it hard for us to hear each other. Obviously not the restaurant fault but the tables are quite close together.
Restaurant was nice but busy and service was somewhat slow. Shame we didn't have time for a dessert as we had theatre tickets and had to leave.
the food was excellent and we had a very good table which was comfortable and not too noisy. Staff are always very friendly and service was good.
nice atmosphere and nice food :) Service was good too. Good choice for a mid week dinner (even for a weekend). We will go back there again.
Had a very pleasant time and the food was great. Sea bass very fresh and nice friendly staff. We go there quite often. I had heard that it wasn't that great anymore, didn't feel that way to me and my friends. Great time had by all and food good
Another great value meal at Cote Richmond with the added plus of a free glass of Kir Royal as we were going onto Richmond Theatre, lovely and such friendly staff!
Very nice restaurant with very friendly and attentive staff. The food is really nice and the prices are reasonable. The Pre-Theatre menu is very good value for money. Definitely worth a visit!
My meal was fine but my husband's lamb shank was overcooked and minimal with no vegetables. The service was good and the overall experience was enjoyable.
Great service and food, as usual! Good value for money and highly recommend. Thank you for another great meal! We'will be back again soon! Thank you!
Cote is a very reliable restaurant and is good value for money, especially for lunch and early evening meals. The food is good and the staff are helpful. However booking is always advisable as it gets very full.
We had a wonderful time as always. It is our regular restaurant as you are always guaranteed excellent food and service. A real French feel too!
Good food, good service, portions good size . If you fancy a desert, skip the starters! Wine list limited to French only, not sure why in this day & age ? It would be nice to see more competitive priced wines on the menu!
All well. Had a lovely evening. Restaurant was very busy. Acoustics were difficult. Probably needs some soft furnishings. Staff pleasant and helpful. I shall return.
I have Coeliac Disease so was excited to come to a Coeliac UK accredited restaurant. Good gluten free menu. I had the risotto was really nice.
Without doubt the friendliest, best value for money restaurant for miles. The food is always excellent and The portion sizes are just right. I can't wait until my next visit!
Friendly service, good food, great value. What more could one ask? Initially we were taken to a table which I didn't like because it was very tight where patrons and staff were walking past but to change it to a preferable one was not a problem.
Excellent service and delicious food. I would recommend Richmond Cote any time to friends. Very thoughtful staff when I said I wanted a quiet table.
Good service, food served promptly and as described. Good value and good size dishes. Friendly and efficient service from happy smiling waiting staff so no problem with 12.5% service charge being added.
Great food and spot on service as always. Such a good place for a date night or a girls catch up. Will be back again soon!
As always when dining at Cote the service was great, staff are always pleasant/helpful & courteous. It's nice to be treated as if you matter which rarely happens to women over fifty, let alone in ones 60's. Very professional.
First time visiting the Richmond branch, usually go to Kingston. Food was generally not as good, pissaldiere was over cooked, my steak while perfectly cooked was not hot nor were my chips so obviously it waited a while as my partners was nice and hot and it was same cooking temp. Dessert menu had to be asked for and the he bill took a long time to come. Wine was warm at first.... Don't get me wrong it was not a bad night just could have beeen better
Really disappointed this evening... Although food was good, service was ok, lady messed up the bill in the end, so did not know what we were paying for. Unfortunately not a great experience this time at Cote Richmond.
Lovely place, lovely food, good atmosphere. Only issue is the gratuity is already added to the bill, and it equates to a lot of money - would be nice to have the choice to add it rather than have to ask to take it off...
Service was ok usually sharper . The small steak was not steak but like reconstituted meat . Used to be ok don't chose this !!
Lovely welcoming staff and great atmosphere. Service is excellent and will definitely be going back very soon. I would recommend to a lot of my friends.
I was disappointed in my chicken chasseur. Too much potato ,hardly any sauce. Previously the sauce has been thick with vegetables and the star of the dish.
Very good have been several times before nice table nice atmosphere nice waiter service and nice food all led to a very nice evening Thanks
Fillet steak £19 stone cold, served on a cold plate and tough awful experience would not recommend to anyone who like a decent steak or even half decent. I could of scraped better off of my shoe
Our first visit to the Richmond branch as we usually go to Windsor Cote. Excellent all round, food and service. Will visit again next time we go to Richmond theatre
Always good value for money. Staff polite and helpful . Good to know that all gratuities are received by the staff after previous complaints. However I do not like the automatic addition of 12.5 % I prefer to choose what I give as a tip
Lovely restaurant; didn't get top marks because we were sat literally next to the disabled toilet door (which kept opening and closing as people couldn't be bothered to go upstairs to the main toilets - the door opened 'into' our table- no one wants to see a toilet when eating!) and our mains were forgotten about, so we were waiting a long time. Customer service was excellent though both in sympathising with our table placement and getting a repeat rush on our food. Very friendly. Food was good, not great. Table for 4 next to disabled loo beware!
It was lovely food and great range of choices for pescatarians , good, attentive and professional staff and really nice atmosphere. Will definitely be going back soon.
pleasant staff and very obliging and good food value with a range of dishes to suit all tastes and appetites ,also a good wine list will go again
Love this restaurant. Excellent value for money. Good food and service and great atmosphere. One of our favourites. This months set menu is especially delicious
The early evening set menu was excellent value with a good selection of dishes to choose from. Staff were polite and friendly and the service was good.
Staff always helpful. The fixed price lunchtime menu, which I am familiar with, was really excellent. Good choices of food very well cooked and presented
Lunch was delicious, the free pre-theatre kir royal is a delightful touch. The service was good, we were not rushed. The manager was particularly helpful in assisting with my purchase of Cote vouchers as a birthday present for my brother
Excellent as always. Particularly good set menu this month. Great service and a reasonable bill. Interesting times ahead as The Ivy is due to open directly opposite...
My friends and I enjoyed a delicious ,well cooked breakfast in a relaxed setting. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the service was excellent.
All four of us enjoyed our food and we all had different things. The atmosphere was nice and buzzy and the service was pleasant though a bit slow.
Very pleasant meal, up to the usual standards. Went at 5:30pm for the early supper option, food great, staff very attentive. Would definitely recommend Cote Richmond.
Great service. We had to complain about a cold steak and plate but it was dealt with very well. Good wine and good value. We go there about once every 3 months and it is very relaible
Cote Bistro Richmond. Our table was booked for 17.45.for a pre theatre meal. We were meet by a friendly member of staff who showed us to our table. The atmosphere was lively and the service quick and efficient. Food was hot and tasty. Staff very attentive. My only criticism would be that we were rather squashed.
This is a pleasant restaurant serving good quality food at reasonable prices. There were 5 of us and we did reserve a table which we would recommend. The staff were efficient and bright. We will go again next time we are in the area.
I had an enjoyable lunch with a friend. The menu had variable choices, the service and food was good, we were satisfied with the experience.
Great food and great service as always. Never been disappointed yet. Looking forward to many more visits. Highly recommended for special evenings as well as a mid-week dinners.
They offer great menu choices, excellent food, drink and the service make this one of my favourite restaurants. Prices are knockout for the quality delivered.
Food was excellent – tasty and well presented and not too heavy. Service struggled slightly (due to their being completely full even on a Monday night) but was polite and apologetic for any slight delays.
Always enjoyable, but service was a little below what we have come to expect. Waiter always seeming distracted when talking to us, and food quite slow to arrive
