Côte Richmond

Attentive service and good food with pleasant atmosphere. Our only comment is that the portions were perhaps a little on the small size. We both had calamari as a starter and baked hake as the main. The house white was very pleasant.

Excellent no need to say more. The July special of lamb was followed by coupe noir which was super. We had a really great evening

Quality food, great service, value for money and friendly ambience is always assured at Cote. The great thing about Cote is whichever one you go to you are never disappointed!

The restaurant coped excellently with the fact that two of our group of five arrived well over an hour late due to the A316 being closed due to an accident.

Food was delicious and service was excellent. We always go to cote when we are hungry and want to be fed good food. They also make good (strong) coffee.

A very pleasant place to dine and spend the evening. A reasonable cellar and good food. The service was quick and friendly. Will certainly re-visit the restaurant.

We frequently visit cote and on Sunday our experience was very good. Service from George was excellent and food very good. Our last visit was not the usual standard but we were more than compensated.

Lovely food from the April specials menu. Perfectly cooked. A little disappointed that the lamb was not available and the creme caramel not very caramelly. Efficient staff and friendly ambience.

Richmond Cote has a really enthusiastic, friendly team. The booking system if very efficient. There is a wide choice of food which is freshly prepared and excellent.

Great setting, with delicious food. Service is good and reasonably priced for the quality. One of the few Richmond restaurants you can always rely on.

Would have been top marks however chips were cold, condiments requested came after 15mins and friend not happy with burger burnt on outside. However manager was great and took some money off bill. I go at least once a month with my husband and as this was a one off will continue to frequent. Thanks for redeeming yourselves!

All dishes were very pleasing from a large menu selection across three courses. The ambience of the restaurant was also very pleasant. Staff were efficient and friendly. Will return

We had a lovely waitress and that made it all go along very nicely. We chose from the specials menu and it was really tasty and very good value , making special mention of the delicious haddock parmentier and the very special frozen berries with white chocolate!!

Always good vfm the set menu at Cote is one of our favourites. Varied choice on all 3 courses and good food, well presented. Also, good choice of wines at very reasonable prices

Great restaurant, great service, only wish you had a branch in Watford, come on guys, I'm sure you could open one in the new INTO centre, we don't have anything of your quality here.

The restaurant was busy but we had reserved a table. The staff were friendly and helpful. The set menu had a good choice and represents good value for money. Excellent food.

Excellent food, not massive amounts on the plate, freshly cooked and wonderful service. Very good value for money, and although we were not in a hurry, we didn't have to wait long for the food.

We had the early evening special which was good value and very tasty. The service was good, even though the restaurant was busy. Sometimes it is a bit haphazard.

We arrived and selected the pre theatre menu ordering within 15 minutes of arriving. The starters arrived promptly, but we then had to wait a further 50 minutes for our main courses and had to ask 3 times about our order. At first the waiting staff said we had only had to wait 12 minutes and we had to point out that this was from the time they had cleared our starter plates, which was around 35 minutes after we had finished eating them! When our main courses arrived, we had to eat them very quickly as we had to get to the theatre on time. The restaurant were apologetic eventually and gave us our bottle of wine free as compensation. The food was very good, but we were unable to appreciate our main courses. I will return to this restaurant as I have had consistently good service and food when visiting previously.

Cote usually has excellent service, however, our waitress service was 2nd rate, we weren't made to feel like valued customers. 1 of our dishes (Chicken) was under cooked, had no faith in sending it back for obvious reasons, also it was a special occasion, Mother's day & we didn't want to make a fuss. Overpriced, same old menu. It was a busy day but Cote needs to try harder, and not take it's customers for granted. All in all a Very disappointing experience

Friendly staff, good choice on the set menu which we went for but the a la carte is good too. Sensible portions - what's not to like?

Chicken liver pate to start followed by Haddock wrapped in bacon all washed down with excellent French cider. Finished off with creme brûlée. Busy as a Bank Holiday Monday, so service a bit slow.

Yet again Cote gave us 4 perfect meals. We have been to the Richmond bistro many times and the food and service is always brilliant. No wonder it is always busy throughout the day!

Great location and decor and the food was of a pretty good standard. The various staff we had exposure to were great, but the waitress serving our table seemed uninterested and not particularly 'customer friendly'. She spent most of the evening chatting with her friends who were dinning at the other table. What was meant to be a treat for Mum on mothers day left a disappointing aftertaste. A shame really.

Great food, staff were fantastic! overall good value for money as food was tasty and piping hot when served. Great variety of food to suit even the most difficult palette.

tables are all squashed together. My desert did not look appetising, when I spoke to waitress she offered to sort it but looked so uninterested.

Food at Cote is always good..and at a great price! We will definitely return! I can completely recommend the crime caramel - it was delicious!
