The staff were nothing like as welcoming as those experienced in other branches. One young lady who served us latterly was much more what we have come to expect

Food delicious. My guest’s hot chocolate was cool and it was replaced without any fuss and when I got the bill you had not charged for this. Your goodwill gesture was much appreciated.

Really pleased with food good food and well prepared. Free bottle of wine had run out and was offered a cheaper alternative, this was sorted but only after it was challenged. On the whole a very enjoyable lunch.

Excellent Service... Staff were very friendly and we ended up with complimentary drinks as the main meal was delayed for some reason. But overall a very good experience and food was excellent.

As always the food is pretty reliable. However, found the staff in this branch to be pretty surly, so unlike other Cote restaurants I have been to. Having booked the table my friend arrived before me. The waitress couldn't find my name and when she finally did she said 'I think someone is already here' and that was that, no attempt to point out where she might be. I was left to go and find her myself! We asked to move tables and that was fine. My friend had already ordered her drink and as we moved across the waitress placed the drink on the new table, but did not think to ask me whether I would like a drink. The food arrived - we chose the set menu and as always the food was fine. However, at no point did the waitress come to check whether we were happy with our food. In fact other than taking our order there was no other interaction. Very un-Cote! I won't be rushing back.

The food is good and probably the best value for money in Richmond. The service can be a little slow, and unfortunately, the soundproofing is non existent. So one tends to shout as well, and the decibels continue rising.

Had lunch at Cote Restaurant in Richmond yesterday. Party of 4. Food was excellant as usual. Service unhurried. Great value for money. Will definately return.

We went to Cote for brunch and the food is lovley. Food comes really quickly but you have to track down a waiting if you require anything else like sauces, jam or another drink.

Food good but waiter mixed up our order so 2 of us ended up waiting for it to be redone. However they then told us they were not charging us for those 2 meals. Thought that was very fair. Good atmosphere

We were 30 minutes late (through no fault of our own and we weren't able to warn them) on a very busy Saturday evening so they had given the table away. But they were charming about it all, quickly organised another table for us (5, so not easy) and gave us a glass of fizz while we waited - all with good humour. The food was excellent and fast and the service excellent.

Lovely venue. The food was great as always. The service was just a bit sporadic. The staff were very nice but maybe they had too much to do!

The atmosphere, staff & food were very good. A winning combination, the menu caters for a wide variety of people of all ages. Good experience.

Great food, professional service from friendly, happy, individual staff. Nothing seem too much or was too rushed. We were going to the theatre that evening and dinner became part of that evening not something before the “main event”.

Menu of good comfort food, had the special with wine pairing. Atmosphere was busy but not too noisy. Service prompt and friendly, would definitely revisit.

Excellent ambience, service and food as always ! Côte always delivers value for money and a free bottle of wine was an added and much appreciated bonus.

Overall the experience was good and the food was delicious. The service was good but I think the waiter was a little over stretched. The restaurant had also run out of Sauterne which limited joy for a dessert wine.

We dined a la Carte on this occasion and it was great. Service was very efficient and polite. Overall a lovely evening was enjoyed by all.

Very good service, good menu choices, OK prices. Nice to see a Pernod on offer. A bit noisy (there are no soft furnishings to soak up the general hubbub. But all in all a very pleasant evening.

I booked a specific area within the restaurant, but this wasn’t acknowledged or given? Shame! I understand it’s not guaranteed, but an explanation would be nice.

Cote always does a fantastic job. Good service, great selection of food, buzzy atmosphere. Wine probably the weakest part of the offering but still fine if you chose carefully. We keep coming back, and there aren't many restaurants which you can say that about.

The staff was nice but the service was slow ?it has been better but the food was nice.it is still my favourite restaurant . It has not put me off.

Good but didnt enjoy my salad nicoise as much as normal. It also took quite a long time for our complimentary water to be bought over. However, it is still a place that I regularly visit

Food OK, but the service was pretty ropey. We had to keep asking for essentials like cutlery. Not just once, but 2 or 3 times. For instance a main course would be put on the table, and the stuff were too dumb or unaware that we had nothing to eat it with. The cheese was cold. You don't serve cheese cold. Lack of taste as a result. Cheese should be kept at room temperature, not in a fridge.

The never disappointing Cote comes up trumps on a Friday in January, the service is always exceptional and friendly and the food ticks all the boxes, comes highly recommended.

Great food and service, can’t quite understand why we don’t go there more often ... we will go back very soon as we liked the menu as well

I feel I’m repeating myself, but yet another great visit... Fantastic team, great food... Back soon for more of the same... Set lunch never disappoints.

We enjoyed a nice leisurely lunch here with my 9 month old baby, the staff were very accommodating of her. The disabled toilet had a baby changing station and was pretty roomy.

Excellent New Years Eve meal. Very busy with people queuing later on, with the kitchen clearly under pressure. Staff coped very well with the situation.

One of the worst meals ever. The steak was 90% fat 10% meat. For the first time in my life I sent it back. The replacement not much better. Same for my wife. We had to wait ages between courses whilst queues of people waited at the door coming near our table their backs in our faces.

Problem with dessert. Eventually told that my choice had been sold out...not true! Got full refund on set meal but ruined new years eve. Staff shortages seemed to be cause if problem. ..lots of people were waiting for tables which they had booked. Not sure why the restaurant wasn't prepared for this very busy time of year.

Always a good experience at Cote and anothe good meal with great patience from staff in dealing with one eof our guests who can be demading at times

Fantastic food and service as always. Great gluten free selection which you can trust as true gluten free, takes all the worry away when eating out.

Food was very good as usual and service got off to a good start but considering that the restaurant was not busy, service was rather slow.

We had a fabulous lunch and drink, service and food very good. I have never had a bad meal at Cote Will be returning soon

Great as normal, always welcome with a smile and the service always excellant, however as I am a member of "cote rewards" it would be nice to receive the offers like my friend does who is also a memeber i.e. glass of kiri royal, bottle of wine etc

Two ladies of a certain age found a great choice to suit a variety of tastes from the set lunch menu. The House wine (one white, one red) was very good, and all at such a reasonable cost. Lovely service. This is why Cote is our "go-to" place for lunch in Richmond.

UNFORTUNATELY AND UNUSUALLY THE FOOD WAS NOT VERY GOOD. MY STEAK WAS VERY VERY SALTY AS WAS THE CHICKEN DISH MY DAUGHTER CHOSE, AND MY SONS MINCED LAMB CHOICE WAS DRY AND TASTELESS AND RESEMBLED A MICROWAVE OR AIRLINE FOOD IN ITS PRESENTATION. SORRY - WE WERE NOT VERY IMPRESSED.

Nice simple food. You cant never go wrong with cote. The down side was that the the table was a bit small for 6 ( it was one of the benches) and we had to take turns to cut our food!!! Otherwise service excellent as usual.

First class breakfast and service even though it was Boxing day and they were very busy. We are regulars to this restaurant so we got what we expected.

It was a buy night, BUT patchy service(needed more staff) and above all very very noisy. I have been to the Richmond branch a few times, but on this occasion, the service fell short of what I expect from Cóte. The Noise was understandable, people having fun etc. BUT a few wall dampeners would fix the acoustics and make it more pleasurable. Your branch at the Barbican is anexample of good acoustics.

A local favourite restaurant in Richmond. Good food and a good service. Enjoy the Breton fish stew as my favourite dish, with delicious bread too.
