Wonderful staff friendly and very fast service. 10/10 amazing food the fish pie was superb and delicious also the bread with caramelised onions and cheese was out of this world .
No problem about getting a table at just after noon. We were looked after well and the food was good BUT the Whitebait weren’t really crispy. ( My choice) We chose the 3 plates choice from the lunch set menu. The restaurant was full- and full of chattering people when we left. There was NO rush for us to go. The chocolate Mousse is LOVELY. mmmmm.
Attentive and friendly service. Didn’t feel at all rushed even though we took ages to order and were the last left in the restaurant. Great desserts!
Good food, good value, good service. One dish delivered to the table was not the one ordered but it was replaced without question, albeit after a longish delay but then the cost of that dish was removed from the bill without us asking.
Excellent attentive service with tasty food and a wide range of wines. I thoroughly enjoyed my business lunch at Cote Richmond. We were well looked after by the staff in spite of the restaurant having a busy lunch service. I would certainly return again on another occasion based on my experience today.
lovely tasty food and good service, nice atmosphere. busy lunchtime on a Weds and took a while to get our food but worth the wait.
Excellent as always... Only remembered to leave this when I went to book another visit...
Cote is always a fabulous restaurant to visit and Richmond never disappoints. The steak is perfect, kid royales are welcome. The staff are great. It’s my go to place for special and not so special ocassions. Also fine for children. Mine have moved from the children’s menu to the pre theatre /a la carte
We were a party of 5 and felt the service was rushing not as relaxing as I hoped for. And the Restaurant would benefit from improving the wine list!
As always, good service with nice ambience. Superb white bait but our steak (frites) was not as tasty as usual. Probably a one off as never found fault before. Will definitely go again as amazing value for a quick pre-Theatre dinner.
Food good, service ok. Waitress seemed to be on auto pilot just going through the motions and not actually interested in us as customers. Thank goodness we were upstairs too the noise downstairs was terrible!
I went out for dinner with an old friend. We had a lovely evening. Good food and atmosphere and we were able to speak easily as not too noisy.
Very pleasant staff greeted and served us today. Overall the busy Saturday lunchtime was managed quite well but could be improved upon by managing the diners and their child buggies more adeptly.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was good and we thought good value, however the service was a little slow but we were a large party.
So consistent! Wonderful menu, outstanding service. Amy role models high service standards. One of Richmond’s best restaurants by far!! Looking forward to returning in the near future.
The menu was interesting. The food was attractively presented, well cooked, and tasty. The service was pleasant and attentive. The paper towel dispenser in the disabled loo was empty.
I enjoyed my visit to Côte Richmond today. The service was pleasant and the food good. I like that a carafe of water is provided straight away.
Côte in Richmond is a firm favourite of our family we usually go for lunch at least once a month. This time it was my birthday and decided to celebrate with a family meal on a Saturday evening. I’m afraid to say that we won’t be back in the evening for a while as we were distinctly underwhelmed and left feeling that it had been a disappointing experience. The food was as good as always but the restaurant was very busy and there just weren’t enough staff to service the tables. We waited a long time to get water and drinks (having walked several miles to get there we were all pretty thirsty). The waiters did their best but were rushing around between the tables trying to keep everyone happy. Starters eventually came but they had run out of bread and said that it would be 20 minutes for some more. Quite a while later the main course came. I hadn’t had a starter so was quite hungry (to say the least). I had ordered the fish stew which I was told would come with bread and I ordered an additional side salad. The fish stew and other mains arrived but no bread or salad. The waitress assured me they were probably on there way. No plate was given for the mussels shells no finger bowl and no spoon to eat the fish stew gravy/juices. It was impossible to catch the eye of a waiter but after about 10 minutes was able to call one over. By this time most of the fish stew had been eaten (using the empty frite containers to put my shells in) so the salad was cancelled. My bread eventually arrived just as I was finishing off. A couple of our group ordered desserts and they duly arrived but by this time our (my) cheery mood was a bit diminished. I Couldn't fault the food which was delicious as always but was let down by the lack of care and service. We will definitely be back but probably not in an evening.
Great food as always but on this occasion the service was a little slow and not attentive which was a shame as I usually enjoy coming to this restaurant for a meal.
Excellent as always. The staff were so professional and the meal was superb. Well worth the money. No wonder why this branch is always so busy
Ate from the daily set menu which was excellent value and great food. Went early evening before the theatre and the service was timed perfectly to reflect this
Excellent service and food as always. We are regular customers and have never been disappointed We have learnt to book in advance as this restaurant is extremely popular and always buzzing
Great restaurant at a cheap price, As a group of teens we are always keen to find affordable cuisine. This restaurant turns out to be the perfect setting for lads such as us, with great service and a clean happy environment this is one of Richmond's top picks for a bit of cheeky dinner with the boys. Tap waters all round!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived early which was no problem. The food was excellent as always and we really enjoyed our meal.
A lovely welcome, a good natured waitress and excellent food. Gets a five because the restaurant was packed out and terribly noisy. Plus the banquet style seating feels cramped and restrictive.
Delicious food and very attentive staff. We had a wonderful time at Richmond Cote for breakfast. Highly recommend the vegetarian breakfast (with pork sausage if you're not vegetarian!). It was a treat for our daughter before she went away on a trip so we appreciated it being so good.
Fantastic service from the manager at Richmond! Excellent food! We ordered a started that took a bit of for that reason the manager apologised to us severerak times. And then at the end of our meal he gave us a free dessert !
Had a lovely meal with great service. There is a variety of food and the set menus are great value. Good atmosphere and love the layout.
Nice atmosphere. Not too noisy. Varied menu. Pleasant prompt service. Separate gluten free menu, remember to ask for it if required. Would go there again.
Great food, great friendly service, fab evening staff were professional, steak tartare starter was superb and our steaks were cooked to perfection, also great wine and my husband enjoyed the cider
Cote Richmond is my regular haunt because of the staff, the food, and the overall ambiance. I will continue to go there as long as it remains the way it is.
The food was excellent. Being a Good Friday the restaurant was very busy and our food arrived 25 minutes late, however, the manager had compensated us with some good discount towards the final bill.
We had a wonderful meal today at Cote, Richmond. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and the meal, as always, is really good and great value.
Such helpful staff who were so welcoming to our two young children and the multiple demands that came with them. Food was delicous and came quickly.
Service very good , food not great today sadly but was offered an alternative which helped a lot . Portion size rather small for the price .
Great food, great staff especially Ionia & the manager whose name I didn’t catch. Always reliable for a great meal & relaxed evening before the theatre.
Staff were very attentive and helpful; one main course was sent back twice by my occasionally-challenging partner(once for being cold, the second time for being tough, seemingly having been re-heated) but the waitresses were all sweetness and light, and their smiles did not waiver. The third attempt at satisfying my girlfriend was successful, and in my view, the food was generally of the usual high quality one expects of Cote.
We had a great time , shame you don't get anything but the chicken on set meal it would be good to get a potato with instead of paying another £3.95 for it
Always fast service and great food at Cote. Great coffee
I took my mother and father here when they recently visited Richmond. Usual excellent food and service. Can't get enough of the Frozen Berry dessert. 😉
Good value 3 course menu, well prepared and nicely presented. The starter helpings could be a bit more generous (only marginal extra cost for restaurant). Attentive and friendly service.
Fabulous as usual. Food fantastic, service perfect, atmosphere great. What more could you ask for? The best lunch venue in Richmond and always maintains the highest standards.
We are always seen to right away and our food always come promptly
Booked 1 hour before we wanted to have lunch, requested a cushion for my friend. Arrived and we were seated very promptly with the addition of the cushion that was requested. . Excellent service.
Good service, consistent quality, relaxed environment. Booking system works well, food arrives promptly, served with a genuine smile. And the pleasing recognition of a ‘goodbye’ on departure. Prices aren’t eyewatering - you’d expect them from an eaterie chain that delivers on all those fronts.
Could not fault the service here today, and the set menu choice was also very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We will certainly visit again.
Always a great place for a decent well priced brunch . Which ever branch you choose, quality and service can be relied on. Excellent value
Very friendly staff and good quality food, efficient service, special offer for pre-theatre dining, i.e. complementary Kir Royale was was very good. An enjoyable dining experience - Côte never disappoints!
Food and service were excellent as usual. There wasn't a matinee on at Richmond Theatre so it was slightly quieter and we were able to hear each other speak and the whole ambiance was much nicer!
Busy lunchtime but served exceedingly well by Christina, and the food, as usual, was excellent. The duck liver starter was truly smooth and the two chicken main courses were excellent. See you again.
