We have never had a bad meal at Cote. Last Thursday was no exception.

Our first time, went with my in-laws and my seven year old son and the staff were utterly terrific from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Very attentive very interested in our experience at the restaurant, just brilliant! Food was great, arrived promptly and nice and hot. Our first visit, definitely won’t be our last, thank you Cote staff you were fantastic.

Lovely meal with our daughter-in-law. Food was lovely - particularly the Creme Caramel.

It is a lovely cosy place with many delicious options on the menu. We go there often. The service was really good and in a very nice made more personal. The staff showed that they really care about the people enjoying their meal. If you are next to a big group it is inevitably going to be a bit more noisy but it is fair enough and an indication that people are enjoying the place and their food.

Excellent as usual. You are one of the few restaurants I trust to eat steak tartare in.

Went here after going to the cinema, arrived earlier than the booking but no problem. Food as always was excellent. Tried the burger for the first time and was not disappointed. My wife had the salmon which she enjoyed.

Booked a table for pre-theatre visit. Service was excellent and they responded well to our need for fairly quick service. We all chose the Breton chicken with sliced potatoes and green beans. Food was hot nicely served and delicious. Desserts were ice cream, cream caramel and creme brûlée all excellent. Glass of house white - always good. Excellent value for money which is why the place is always busy!

Had a lovely 3 course prestige meal . The restaurant was quiet but it was 3.30 pm . It set us up for a lovely evening at the Theatre seeing Bonnie Langford. We go to a lot of different Cotes and this did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is not very exciting but that is down to the shape of the room I guess .

The food was great as we’ve come to expect from Côte, however the service was not it’s usual level, due to the business of the restaurant. We had to wait close to an hour for our main course, and weren’t really checked in on during that time - we ordered more bottle and filter water that didn’t arrive.

We entertained some American guests who loved the relaxed but busy atmosphere of Cote at Richmond. The occasion was made all the more enjoyable by the friendly and attentive service from the waitresses , Emily and her colleagues. We had a lot to talk about, but there was no rush to remove us from our booth over a long lunch and we felt very much "at home" there, as we have often used the restaurant.

Enjoyable, us three girls all ordered from the Brunch menu, good but sadly nothing special.

Good location, pleasant helpful staff, good menu,but one very noisy table making it uncomfortable and difficult to hold our own conversation (just between 2 ladies).

Chaotic and slow service. Food bland and considering we ordered 2 starters- took a long time to come Soup served with dessert spoons and no bread and butter until requested Vegan menu described a roasted veg flatbread with black olive tapenade. The item that came had huge chunks of boiled butternut squash on it. Really odd. Downstairs toilet had no toilet roll in it. It feels like it has really gone downhill.

Food and welcome was good but service very slow. Had to ask to order. Had to ask twice for the bill. Had to ask for milk for the tea. Food and coffee excellent.

Amy in particular, is simply delightful ! She is always warm, friendly, attentive and goes above and beyond, always and consistently, to ensure we have the best dining experience, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner! She is a true asset to the company. It is thanks to her, after a long sabbatical, we have returned to dining here again. Well done Amy & a very Happy Birthday for Friday; have a super time! I always believe there is space for growth, however, knocked of one star, simply because the champagne is often not chilled to my expectations.
