Lovely evening, great food, very attentive service from ll the staff

Very good food as ever at a Cotes but it was very difficult to get served. Waiting staff seemed to ignore us and didn't respond to our requests for service.

Service was patchy. Had to ask twice for glass of red wine to accompny my steak. It only arrive when I had nearly finished. Kindly, the manager took it off my bill. Also, while the steak was well cooked, the green salad appeared to have come out of a bag and to have been dressed some time ago (thus "soggy"). The fries were also disappointing. Seemed like they too had been hanging around for a while (overcooked and greasy). The dessert from the specials list was excellent, as was the crab bisque starter.

Great food and service Don’t know how they do it for such a competitive price.

As usual the food, atmosphere and waiting staff were excellent. We ordered Kir royals which were served in cocktail glasses which was fine, however the wine was flat and tasteless. They did take them off the bill though. I had signed up to the newsletter and had been offered a free bottle of wine for doing so if I booked through the correct link which I did. The wine (Syrah) was served to us, it was OK but not up to the usual Malbec we usually choose. We forgot to check if it was on the bill and when we got home I checked and realised we had been charged for it. So unfortunately this left a bitter taste!

Lovely lunch today. Great food, reasonably priced and brought to the table by cheerful staff. Endive, Roquefort and walnut salad was delicious followed by tuna nicoise, perfectly cooked medium rare. Love also the cocktail of the month which is free when ordering from a la carte menu. I've been to several Cote's recently and always found them to be consistently good.

Very welcoming with lots of smiles. Well looked after and most attentive staff although a very busy place. Food delicious and very good value. Noise level like most restaurants today not good as all hard surfaces and nothing to absorb the noise.

Having visited many Cote restaurants in recent years I found this one on this occasion below par. The food for example was not great with some dishes e.g. Pissaladiere Reblochon over cooked and burned at edges, the mushroom risotto was too dry and gloopy and felt old and reheated). We ordered bread that never came and when we reminded the staff (another staff member as the original one had disappeared) it came late into our meal. Likewise the red wine never appeared until we once again asked. All in all the service was pretty unexceptional!

Fantastic meal, good value and excellent service. Highly recommended. Whilst there we saw and learnt about a long term loyal customer who has eaten there almost every day for 11 years and has his own special chair/monogrammed cushion which says "From Your Cote Family" on it which says alot about the welcome you receive at this branch of Cote.

The serviec was a bit lsow. We arrived at 5.30 order about 5.45, starter came at 6.00pm amd then mains at about 6.40. We were off to thetare a good 10 minute walk away. We had enough time but we could have been pushed.

Visiting Richmond we went to Cote as you always get a good reliable meal. This was true and we enjoyed Two Fillet Steaks cooked perfectly followed by an excellent Pain Perdu which is the October special.

Everything was perfect, food, wine, ambiance, service and toilets. Will be back.

Been to this Cote twice and both times we we had a great night. Staff are very polite and will go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied- for example I ordered the fillet steak medium rare and felt it was verging on blue on the inside so they offered to cook a new one / cook it a bit more - it came back just as I wanted and tasted delicious. The frites are yummy - taste just like the ones you get in France. Everyone else enjoyed their food too and we love that there are so many options to choose from as well as a range of prices - a very well thought out menu. We also ordered a lovely bottle of Chablis. Prices are very reasonable for the standard of food - the Ivy brasserie down the road is twice the price and no better IMO. We love Cote!

Service was very slow and my food was over cooked (crepes). I would have complained but it would have spoiled our evening! 🙁

Excellent evening. We had a good table and were very well looked after by charming waitress who was very attentive.

Enjoyed our post theatre dinner last Friday, October specials crab bisque and peppercorn ribeye were superb. Service was good despite a very busy restaurant and the free Martini went down very well! Back soon.

I love Cote. It’s my favourite restaurant to eat in, especially my local Richmond branch. The staff are always attentive, polite and friendly, and treat you like you are their best customer. I will go for birthdays, ladies lunching, a quick bite to eat and drink after the cinema. The Richmond branch is exceptional and the man agent and staff are amazing with all clients. It’s very warming to see. Please keep this fabulous team in place.

The manager on duty was wonderful, extremely helpful as my mother is disabled. The other members of staff were attentive and made my birthday meal very memorable. A big Thank You to a great team .

Food was good as always but the service was a bit on the slow side

No need to as markings ok BUT as a regular Cote visitor one does get tired of the set menus, but quite understand that you can only change them once a month, and it's still such good value.

Excellent personalised service from the breakfast waitress (apologies I didn’t get her name).
