Good meal and, as usual at Cote Richmond, excellent service.

We’d allowed 1hr 45mins for our meal. After waiting 20 mins I had to go and ask if they would take our order as we were going to the cinema. Our main course was going to take another 20 mins to prepare (which was fine) so I ordered a starter. It never came so I had to ask again. When it did come they had forgotten to bring it gluten free! By then, I had to say to forget about the starter as there wasn’t time. The main courses turned up an hour after we’d arrived which meant we didn’t have time for pudding or coffee. The food is always brilliant but we were let down by the service this time. It was very very busy and we felt they were understaffed. A shame as Cote is superb.

The food was great although the waiting time was longer than normal. Our server was attentive but it felt that she had too many tables to attend. Unfortunately the whole experience wasn’t up to its normal standard as the noise level where we were sitting, at the back of the restaurant, was overwhelming (80-90 db) and we felt very sorry for the staff who have to work in that environment throughout their shifts.

Amazing food and good service. Thank you for the manager in charge who kindly gave us a nice table. We went there to celebrate our friend’s birthday and we all had a great time. Highly recommended and will look forward to coming back to celebrate another occasion. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Found a hair in the food. Yuck! Poached eggs rock hard. Asked for no bacon with the dish as I’m a vegetarian but, guess what, huge pile of bacon on the plate! Pity as I’m a regular. Complained and bill was cancelled but it’s very off putting especially the hair in the food. Questionable hygiene standards in the kitchen.

Unfortunately some things like fish were off the menu which I usually choose.

Had an excellent time at Côte today. I met up with a friend and we spent so much time there, we thought we should pay rent! The service was absolutely first class, as was the food. I cannot praise the entire team too highly. Thank you all so much.

Excellent service, lovely greeting on arrival. Food nice and hot. Good house wine. Dropped a star, only because desert ,( crumble) was soggy & disappointing. Need to have an improved selection of deserts.

Arrived earlier than our booking but no problem. Enjoyed the Cote burger, nice & juicy and a good 8 oz.

The service and menu were excellent. But I don’t like the decor in the Richmond branch. It’s not as attractive as other Cote restaurants we have visited.

We booked for 20:00 23.11.19 and when we arrived it was very busy and we were shown to a table upstairs. It took a long time for a server to come to our table and after 35 minutes we had managed to get a drink and a piece of garlic bread, no side plates until asked for. A long time for dinner to arrive with a few hiccups with dishes arriving in the wrong order. A bit chaotic and not the great service we expect at Cote. The food was good, but by then the moment has gone. The duty manager was great and knocked a large chunk off our bill. We will return but we won’t sit upstairs again!

We’ve eaten at several Cotes restaurants but the first time in Richmond, another good quality meal served efficiently by friendly staff. Loved the buzzy atmosphere so we’ll be back.

Great service. We arrived very early, but the they still managed to find us a table. Food was superb as always. Cocktail was amazing.

My friend and I meet for lunch in Cote at Richmond twice a year and are never disappointed and last Friday was no exception. We were looked after by a waiter from Corsica and he was superb. He was interested and very professional and an asset to your restaurant.

No music a great plus. Food disappointing, mushroom soup bland and fish over cooked. The crème caramel as ever superb. Attentive service and good wine recommendation

WE went mid afternoon for a meal and there was a good atmosphere in restaurant despite it not being the most opular time to eat. The service was good and we could eat at our own pace, but the food wasn't very exciting despite choosig from the November special menu

Excellent food as always, but the service was a bit slow, although they were very busy with the pre-theatre menu. It was extremely noisy and very difficult to hear what my friend was saying.

This is the 1st time that I have eaten at Cote Bistro and I was very impressed.I have coeliec disease and I was given a gluten free menu and the manager came and took my order separately to the rest of the table.All my dishes had a gluten free flag in when they arrived.I very rarely eat out thesedays as I have been so ill afterwards.I think I've finally found somewhere I can eat out safely.I really enjoyed the meal.

Richmond Cote used to be better than it is now, I think. Decline probably due to drive to cut costs through reducing food quality and employing fewer staff.

We brought a party of friends for lunch. The food, service and ambience was excellent. Cote is always a winner and can be relied upon for a great experience.
