Côte Richmond

Great fun with the family. Rare visit “upstairs”. Service and food excellent as always. And January free wine was a bonus...

I very much like this Côte but the restaurant was extremely busy on a Saturday afternoon. One of our meals arrived cold but the Manager was a delight and arranged for it to be replaced. The replaced meal was hot and delicious. Will return.

Service was average at best....over an hour wait for our main course to arrive....food was very good but overall experience would have been poor if it wasn’t for Anna who understood what had happened wasn’t right and apologized and salvaged the situation.

Excellent food and service. This branch of Côte has a lovely atmosphere. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. I keep coming back here, because it just cannot be beaten for quality, service and value in Richmond.

Had booked table Restaurant v busy as you would expect on Saturday night at 7.30 . However still not had main course by 8.55 and had to leave as going to cinema. Even calmed by manager and told food coming in 8 minutes but after 13 mins still not there , so we left hungry as only shared a small starter so could enjoy the lovely mains - a vegan parmentier and a steak . Disappointed and missed beginning of film though had allowed 11/2 hours for dinner . They did say come back after film for complimentary dinner but film ended at 23.10 and they close at 11. Pity as I love Cotè .

Usually eat at the Richmond branch. We were offered the table of our choice and ordered some piquant olives and a starter. Mains came out before we received our starters so were sent back. Received our olives but not piquant but were so hungry that we said we would keep them. Fillet steak arrived not really hot and much more medium than medium rare (not the first time this ha happened and have sent it back previousltly) but my wife had a salad so I carried on and said every thing was OK. Staff took the olives off of the bill but we would rather everything went OK than have items taken off of the bill. Staff all friendly and accommodating. Regards Tony

As always a good experience.The chateaubriand was superb and a Delicious dessert with cinnamon ice Cream.

My Girlfriend is a Ceoliac and we are usually nervous about going out to eat however there was no need to be. The staff were all fantastic and really put us at ease as well as being very friendly and attentive. The manager on duty was exceptional. Thanks

We really enjoyed the food tonight. A big Thank you to Emily, the manager who gave us our favourite table and to Aga who looks after us so well.

Service a bit slow today and the waitress took ages fiddling with her tablet before she could take our order - she could have written it down much quicker! Also, got our bill wrong. Food good though and plenty of it.

Poor quality lamb tough, fatty, spoke to a lady next table had the same problem. Had to ask for a knife that would cut the meat one of the worst meals that I have had at Cote.

My wife had Stroganoff from the Prestige set menu. The pasta was Luke warm and was in very wide strips which were difficult to chew. The beef was barely warm and had we not been in a rush to go to the cinema would have sent the dish back.

As usual most things excellent, bit disappointed with the haddock gouging, large and without flavour. First time I’ve not enjoyed something with you for years. Staff excellent.

The fact that I go to Cote Richmond at times more than once a week should speak for itself. The staff are always welcoming, the food is great and the service is the best. See you next week !!

Although the food was great as usual I did think the menu should have been £9-99 not the usual £11-99 as a special for January But having said that we couldn’t fault the food or service

Pre theatre meal for 7 people at newsletter special prices for January. Service as ever very good as was the food with one exception. My minute steak was distinctly chewy, but to their credit, it was promptly replaced without query. Wine and food good value and overall we were very pleased . We will return .

Having visited Cote in Richmond on many occasions we have always enjoyed the varied menu and not often had to complain. On this occasion the steak and frittes was not up to standard but every thing else was good, however the waitress was very observant and could see that my husband was struggling with the steak and offered an alternative dish which he accepted. He decided on shepherds pie which also seemed a little bland but by now had lost is appetite, however Cote did discount the glass of wine that my husband had, off the bill.

Everything was great like always!! We always celebrate our office events there!!
