Great food and good service. Went here for Friday lunch and it was a buzzy atmosphere. it was very busy so would recommend booking beforehand. Would highly recommend.
Main course was excellent. Starter had to be sent back. Brioche cold and done on one side only. Came back burnt on one side. Manager replaced with fresh. Obliging and apologetic. Otherwise good.
Great food, very friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good service but a little slow. However this is probably because it was a busy Friday night. Enjoyable evening.
Not ideal table, blanc de blanc glasses always only 5/6 full and occasionally impersonal even though md knows us and acknowledges this. Last visit asked repeatedly for carafe of water but forgotten
Booked for a pre theatre dinner and they wanted to know start time to ensure that we were through in time. Food and drink served promptly, not rushed and good service as well as excellent quality as always. Made the theatre in time: should have stayed longer as food much better than the play!
Great early evening dinner with an old friend. We had the set menu: my duck pate with brioche was delicious; frriend's asparagus light and lovely. I had the grilled chicken, which was fine - very tasty sauce. Sea bass looked good. We'd ordered spinach which arrived half way through - restaurant was very busy. We were well served by our waiter and when dessert was delayed, offered coffee on the house. We agree the set menu is one of the best deals going and will be back.
Service a bit slow at first got better good value for money staff friendly but have done with more staff when theatre crowds are in
Great food (and virtually allergy free!) at an amazing price. The service is also very good. It's tough on the competitors....it is almost always my first choice.
W chose from the theatre goers menu which gives a fair range. The food was quite nice, the staff quite helpful and quite good service tonight.
Food was reliable as always, but let down by the kids' meals taking far longer than the adults' - despite stressing we had a diabetic child who needed food quickly - and a stroppy waitress who really didn't care. The manager was very apologetic but still...not great.
A very friendly welcome and great service. Food arrived in good time and was delicious. Especially the chocolate pot! We were not rushed out and had a very relaxing experience.
The food and service at Côte Bistro is consistently very good at all the branches I've been to: Richmond, St Christopher's Place, St Martin's Lane and Windsor.
Cote always delivers on its food, ambience and efficient and friendly staff and tonight was no different. One little pot of frites fell over on the plate as the waiter was serving us - a second followed free 7 mins later!
Very good food and staff - an enjoyable visit and we would definitely fo again. The swordfish was beautifully cooked and the chicken parfait very smooth with lots of flavour.
Excellent service even though we asked to have 2 courses in 45 minutes because we were running late. The food is of a good quality which is consistent in all Cotes.
As always food very good. one of our party was vegan and the staff couldn't have been more helpful in finding something suitable for her to eat.
The food was very enjoyable and there was good choice. This was a birthday treat and it was a really enjoyable experience. Look forward to visiting Cote again.
The full selection of the early bird menu was available, which is not always the case at Cote. The service was excellent, the girl serving us was very attentive
Had to wait an unacceptably long time for our food. When it came it was barely luke warm. The service was surly and at times rude. Very disappointing. Can't recommend the restaurant
Very much enjoyed our meal at Cote Bistro , the food was ver y good indeed and the service was also very good I will come and eat again soon.
I love the Cote, the food and the service are always amazing. 👍🏻We have been there a couple of times and have never been disappointed.
Excellent meal and good service, however, table was right by the entrance so we were very close to people waiting for their table. I think the restaurant would benefit from a bar/waiting area.
Good food, pretty good service despite it being very busy. We managed to get to the theatre on time which was quite a feat with 6 of us eating and some taking 3 courses
Excellent and make sure to join the loyalty scheme. Chicken liver pate is highly recommended and they have a weekend burger too. Give it a try.
We went on a busy Friday evening as we always enjoy Côte restaurants. Good quick and pleasant service and very reaonable prices. Only propblem was the wobbly table, but this was sorted quickly.
Everyone was very friendly and pleasant - only disappointment was the one vegetarian dish for my sister on the quick menu was off but they did try and recompense her. We left definitely feeling like we would recommend the restaurant to others and will definitely go back again. Very good value, certainly on the two/three course set menu.
Early evening meal deal excellent value. Restaurant was buzzing but service was attentive. Would have scored higher but had to order bread to mop up moules juices as an extra and waited too long for mustard and ketchup to be brought to the table.
The service was outstanding and the meal very good value. Loved the Jerusalem artichoke starter, very generous portion. I always enjoy this Cote very much
Many thanks to the staff for a very enjoyable lunch at the last minute. Please try the chicken liver pate and creme brûlée to finish.
Food and service is always great and the atmosphere is always very buzzy No loud music so you can hear each other talk. Have been to several different Cote's and they are always dependable.
The Food was lovely as always and even though restaurant was full service was quick and efficient. Definitely recommend for lunch but make sure you book to avoid disappointment. We will return soon!
Popped in fro breakfast on Bank Holiday Monday, Restuarant ws clean, Tidy, and surprisingly quiet. Good service, and the food was impeccable. Great value for money.
Lovely food and friendly staff. Good mix of new menu items and classics and decent wines by the glass. Sometimes a little slow on the service side, but always an enjoyable meal
Good food good service what more can you ask?. The value for money was also above average and thanks for the free bottle of wine
Excellent food and service as usual from the Richmond branch. It is always busy but the staff never fail to provide a cheerful & prompt service.
Very good manager looking after a busy restaurant dealt perfectly with a problem with my dish. Replaced with speed and charm. We greatly enjoyed our lunch. Pleased to see more puddings on offer.
I visited a restaurant on Friday evening with my friend,it was busy but we booked a table so we got it on time. Service was great, very friendly and the waiter was quick, food was ok, nothing special, but good. Salmon fish cakes were great, duck was a bit dry and didn't match with fried potatoes, also frozen fruits with hot sauce- nothing special, the portion was tiny for that price. Disadvantage was a toilet which was far away from our table, shame that there was none upstairs. Overall was ok.
as always - excellent food and service - will use again as have done in the past, the complimentary wine a bonus which made the night even better
Consistently good standard of food and efficient and friendly service. its popularity means the level of background noise can sometimes be abit too high for my liking.
Had a cooked breakfast, juice and a hot drink which I received from the Côte Loyalty Rewards offer (buy one get one free). Lovely breakfast, really fresh. Had the vegetarian cooked breakfast, and was really delicious and a nice way to start the day!
It was quite enjoyable evening. The food was good and was served pretty quickly. One of our party of 6 "complained" her seafood pasta porcion was too big, The waiter did not speak very good English but we managed to communicate our orders without problems. One thing we found bit strange was that our brandy was served in glasses more suitable fot whiskey or water.
Great experience and food. The service was excellent. Great table. We highly recommend booking a table as it gets very busy from around 5pm on theatre nights.
delicious food and amazing staff good atmosphere. We felt very welcome from the entrance to the very last minute. The waiter and blond lady by the door doing a really great job.
This is a lovely restaurant. Food always fantastic. Staff very attentive. Only eaten at the Richmond restaurant. Prices very reasonable. Richmond very popular so always best to book.
I think they must have been short staffed in Richmond today as the service was much slower than usual but the staff were very polite.
Although very busy the service was good and the food was excellent. I was very pleased to introduce my friends to their first Cot lunch - well done
Good food and efficient service. Very busy on Friday night and the atmosphere was good. Value for money is really good so we will definitely be back
The food was good. Nothing amazing but fine. We stayed until just before midnight and didn't feel pressured to leave. We did have an overly attentive waiter though who at times interrupted our conversations. However, despite this, we had an enjoyable evening.
Always good. Great service and the usual excellent quality of food. Top location, centre of town. Ian a real fan of Cote restaurants. Consistently good.
Service was poor. Table was dirty on arrival at 10.00 a.m. on Saturday morning. Waiter wiped the table when i requested it but did so reluctantly and badly leaving bits on table. Waiter seemed unenthusiastic to serve us e..g did not bring the slice of lemon I asked when ordering my tea and when, after a long delay, I spoke to him he seemed to deny that I had ever asked him for the lemon. I felt we were just too much trouble. We have frequently used Cote in Hampstead and been pleased with the experience (which is why we booked Cote in Richmond). The premises do not reflect well on Cote. The premises did not feel cared for. Food (breakfast) was ok but again lacked something.
