We always get wonderful service and food. We are spending half our Christmas and New Year’s Eve at Côte! There is no more to say.
Slow service, wrong order taken. Staff were going out of the back door every minute to smoke. Not really what you want to see the chefs do, especially when the cold air with scent of cigarettes then wafted through the restaurant while customers were eating. Thats now 3 strikes for Cote. Be seeing you.
Great food and wine as usual at Cote in Richmond. Service was good, however, we've had better here. Nonetheless, highly recommended and will certainly return.
Consistently good food at a reasonable price is why we love going to Cote restaurants. This visit did not disappoint. Loved the Halibut on the specials menu - great plate of food.
Great service, but in a party of less than 7 people three menu lunches were charged as Christmas lunches. Disappointed with this rip off. Probably just a mistake. Stewart 07967 014 086
We had a good lunch,as always. The Christmas set lunch wasn't very inspiring but we enjoyed our own choices, especially the French onion soup .Good service at a busy time.
Average. not offered water not the best meal we have had in Cote would not chance Richmond again does not have the same welcoming ambience that other Cote's have
All good - good food, options also good on Christmas menu and wine choices decent and excellent service. Would certainly recommend and would go again.
I have eaten at Cote restaurants many times and am usually impressed by the competence of the staff. It was therefore disappointing to find it less than good on this visit to Richmond. I had three times to ask for more wine while we were eating our main course, and to eventually receive it as we had almost finished eating.
Disappointed Table by disabled toilets, although I had booked early Table not ready Awful service: tepid wine, no wine bucket, waitress forgot beans, bread, did not understand tartare sauce
Food and service great as usual. Only reason I gave a 5 is that the setting at the Richmond Cote is not as good as some of the others and it seemed quite noisy
On our way to be shown our table the waiter stopped to serve another table whilst we stood there like lemons. Chicken was dry and we had to ask several times for my boyfriends glass of wine.
Excellent food on the special Christmas menu and reasonably priced. The restaurant was extremely busy, and so the service was initially a little slow. But overall a very good experience!
Great food and perfect location to celebrate a 21st birthday on Sunday afternoon inRichmond ... we would certainly recommend to our looking for something similar!!!
Excellent food, reasonably priced and brought to the table quickly but service a bit chaotic even for a Saturday night - have a merry Christmas
A very good Christmas Menu and good value. Service was excellent. At other times of the year excellent place to pop in for supper before the theatre or cinema.
cozy atmosphere, food was delicious and service was fast! the staff was lovely and really helpful place was packed and noisy but overall really good experience
Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Service was efficient and discreet. We chose our meal from the fixed price menu. It was delicious as usual. We were even tempted to go for dessert - Tarte au Citron (yum!). I have visited this branch of Cote often at different times of the day and have never been disappointed.
Excellent friendly staff Great food . That’s the perfect combination for a wonderful evening 🙂. Our table of six was upstairs with Christmas crackers (nice ones). It really was a good evening and reasonably priced.
Breakfast at Cote Richmond was a delight. We treated ourselves to the excellent value Formule deal. The full English was hot & tasty, as was the coffee. Attentive service as always at Cote.
Really busy today - fab food but quite a wait to order. as soon as I flagged I had been waiting too long they reprioritised and got my food sorted. well dealt with - and as ever will be back.
After waiting quite a long time to be served, everything was perfect - the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
Cote in Richmond is such a cozy place with friendly staff. Had a lovely dinner with steak frites and my friend the grilled chicken. Both simple but well made and tasty.
The manager was incredibly helpful and the staff were all excellent. Good food and quick service (which is key with a toddler!) - overall a great experience.
My friend and I had a very enjoyable experience. The food was great and, in fact, I have already booked a return visit with another friend tomorrow!
Very attentive staff. Quick to help and very pleasant. Not many people there when we arrived so we had a lot of choice where to sit. Food could have been a bit warmer.
They kindly moved us to a ground floor table as my mother has trouble with stairs, and were patient with us despite being so busy. Food was lovely, especially duck and tart tatin. Thanks.
Lovely restaurant food is always excellent you can depend on that the staff are so helpful and friendly and ensure you have enjoyed your bisit
Excellent service and attention from the manager a lady with the right attitude. Food excellent and much better than the same at another cote earlier in the week.
Service was good. The food was good - the squid was well cooked and tender. A good restaurant to go to pre rugby matches twickenham.
Good atmosphere. A little drafty but it was a day with very cold arctic winds blowing when we visited. Food very good (steak frites and creme caramel etc). Service friendly but two medium wines were served when we clearly asked for 1 small and one medium, we pointed out their error when served but staff did not correct it. When bill arrived we asked they charge for small which they accepted, albeit reluctantly. Dijon mustard not provided despite asking twice. Relatively small niggles for an overall good experience.
Excellent on a very busy cold night. The staff were very pleasant right until late. Food was great as usual. Disappointed there was no Vedett beer.
Excellent service, superb food and extremely reasonable. All in all a lovely evening out with friends in great surroundings. Côte can always be relied on to come up trumps.
Excellent as always. We were to be seated upstairs, however, one of our party was unable to get up the stairs so we had to wait 10 minutes for another table to be made ready for us; in the intervening period we were offered complimentary drinks. All good and a nice evening was had by all.
Good menu, good food (fish stew and boeuf bourginon), good service, nice place, been there often and will return. Very convenient for cinemas in Richmond.
Very pleasant early evening dinner. Friendly staff and very lively atmosphere. Food very enjoyable as always at Côte. We always enjoy our annual visit to Côte Richmond.
It was a busy Friday lunchtime and there were not enough staff on duty. It took a long time for the starter to arrive which was cold. On enquiring if this was correct was told it was warm ! ( Mushrooms on brioche) The main course came eventually also lukewarm. The wrong dessert was given to me . Our waitress was obviously rushed off her feet and did her best for us. However we asked for the optional 12 and1/2 % to be removed from our bill. Not up to their usual standard today
Cote menus are good value for money and we enjoy going to their restaurants. However at this particular restaurant they need to give some thought to their service for those eating early (as we did). The staff seemed much more interested to laying tables for the evening rush than attending to the customers already seated. The manager was arguing in entrance with a cab driver when we arrived which is not a good impression especially as we had to wait whilst they sorted the problem out. This is not the first time we have entered this branch to an argument - but we still go back!
Nice atmosphere, food sometimes hit and miss and same with waiting staff, although our waiter was great that evening. Classic Richmond brasserie with French style menu.
Usual high quality dining and service experience that I have come to expect from Cote. Good value for money and looking forward to next time!
Great service, delicious food. It was my boyfriend's birthday and we were all brought a kir royale on arrival. What a lovely surprise. Thank you
Great service, great food and good choice of wine. A bit of a wait between starter and main course but that did not prevent us from having a great time.
Fantastic food and really good value. Great atmosphere and the staff are all attentive and very friendly. I can’t praise Cote too highly and think it’s one of the best lunches I have had in Richmond
very busy pre christmas and we had a wait for our table but not long. food was usual good standard, we had the specials menu which included steak and was excellent value. Only criticism is that the tables are very squeezed together so it is impossible not to overhear conversations on both sides and rather impedes a quiet chat between two.
Richmond Cote at its best! Even during the busy lunchtime the manager and our waitress Anna provided a prompt efficient and friendly service. The food - mushroom brioche followed by steak frite - was well presented, freshly prepared and delicious! Thank you!
Food was OK but had to wait ages for our main courses. When they finally arrived, the two portions of potato gratin were missing which had been also ordered. They then arrived when we’d virtually eaten our meal. One was slightly burnt. The other was undercooked. I found the service here very slow some months ago but was hoping it had improved. This visit was much worse! A shame, as I generally love the food at Cote.
The French onion soup was far too hot and the Cote du Rhône was far too cold. Also we asked for some bread to go with the soup and was told they had none! We ordered coffees but they didn’t come. We reminded hem but they still didn’t arrive so we had to cancel them. Very dissatisfied! Eric of Chiswick
Good time had by all. Mixed results on food as some steaks were excellent and some of a lesser quality. Overall cannot fault for value but my steak was a better one!
Despite being full during a busy Saturday lunchtime service in early December, Cote staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. Food was prompt, hot and delicious.
Always great food here. Can’t beat the early bird menu
