Excellent value for money with the set menu and ambience, starter could have been a bit hotter but main course of Sea Bass excellent, ate before 7pm

The food was terrific! Because it was my birthday the very friendly and attentive staff topped my (yummy) pudding with a little candle. I shall definitely come again!

Côte Bistro Richmond has been our favourite restaurant since we moved to Twickenham in 2011. It is our no. 1 go-to place whenever we want to celebrate or just to have a great meal out with family and friends. The food is always consistently fabulous and the service and staff are fantastic. Highly recommended.

A warm welcome was followed by a great meal. Service was very good and food was quick to arrive. I would recommend Cote to all my friends.

Food was really good, but the service was slow and the waitresses had to be reminded of a couple of items. Overall nice enough though.

The restaurant serving tasty food is well situated in the retail centre of Richmond and a short ealk to river. It has a great atmosphere generated by a friendly and attentive staff.

Nice and pleasant atmosphere. Staff are competent and do a very good job. We like the menu, both food and drinks. The service was provided with the right rhythm to make it a very pleasant and commendable experience. We’ll surely repeat it.

Perfect! Great service, lovely hot food, nice wine. And not overly busy/noisy which was nice for a change! Cote is always a favourite and always consistent.

We had some problems with the menu . One of our free kir royals was served in a smelly glass and the potatoes were cold on one of our dishes. The staff handled it all very well and promptly. We complained in a pleasant manner and our problems were dealt with in good humour by the staff. Very professional. We shall continue to patronise Cote.

Great service, friendly staff. Food was delicious, staff are helpful and kind. My friend was a little late and the staff asked the manager to extend the early evening menu, extremely grateful. However as she was more then 10/15 they couldn’t extend any longer which I understand. Had a lovely evening

Booked for mother’s day lunch. Found staff very welcoming and friendly. Good menu choices. We had beef bourguignon and smoked salmon starter washed down with sparkling wine. All excellent.

Great food, fantastic waitress who was funny and made sure we got our food quickly as we were going to the theatre after our meal.

Cote is such a great place, very friendly and efficient staff. Excellent Front of House, upbeat and attentive. The Food is great and prices are reasonable. Would highly recommend Cote in Richmond.

We have been visiting this cote for years and had our wedding brunch in the room upstairs. We booked online with complimentary kir royale. On arrival the restaurant was very hot, when asking for the early evening menus we were told we couldn’t have them. When questioned the manager said ‘I think it’s seven’. We told her it wasn’t, she checked and told us we only had 9 minutes. We then had to ask for our complimentary drinks are were questioned again and asked for our names in a slightly suspicious way. Staff generally seemed a bit frantic. The restaurant wasn’t full, we have been many times when it has been very busy and there has been a positive hum in the place. We offered to pay for our drinks, although we hadn’t drunk them, and left as we just felt uncomfortable.

Booked on line; our favourite table all ready, and the usual warm welcome! The food excellent as always; we chose from the day menu - a wide selection offering something for everyone. Quality food prepared and served by friendly, attentive staff - brilliant! Thank you!

The set lunch option is brilliant value. Service was excellent. Great location on High Street in characterful building. Will definitely eat at this restaurant again.

Àrrived 20 minutes early, no problem for a table tho busy. Staff lovely and attentive, good food as always, never dissapointed. Good place to relax at lunchtime, nice to hear laughter around the restaurant.

Enjoyable as always, but soup served to two of our party of four was cold. It then took so long to reheat it that the other two had finished their starters, before they too became cold. This rather diminished the social flow of our lunch. Not much apology or any recompense offered. Otherwise food very good and service pleasant.

This was Mother’s Day so we expected delays to delivering our order and so we weren’t surprised when that happened. The food as usual was excellent, both the crab mayonnaise and duck were delicious. The service while slow was better than could be expected under the circumstances.

Cote is a constant favourite in Richmond. Perhaps it needs to watch out for the competition though as more and more restaurants open up nearby...

We didn’t eat here we queued to get seated on time and the waitress showed us a table by the toilets at back when we were asked if we can sit at one of the other vacant tables we were rudely told by one waitress no there is no choice. Unbelievable. We ate at the ivy instead.

Good service and consistently good food. Very welcoming ambiance. I have been going to this restaurant since it opened in Richmond and have always had a good experience.

food was reasonable but not remarkable. The advocado crab was poorly described - we thought it would be separately presented but was mashed together and was a bit disappointing

Excellent service, good value for money but Chicken Chassseur (new recipe?) wasn't as good as the 'old' recipe, seemed to be over-salty and had too much sugar in the sauce.

I went with a friend for brunch . It was her first visit and she really enjoyed it. We received a warm welcome and the food was extremely good. The service was prompt and courteous.

Cote in Richmond is consistently good and we are regular customers. Today's meal though was exceptional. We chose from the lunchtime special menu. I had the Pea, mint and courgette soup which was absolutely delicious! I was a bit disappointed at first as it was only lukewarm but delving into it found that underneath it was really hot so once I had mixed it up it was fine (must have been microwaved). Foe the main I chose the Sea Bass which again was absolutely wonderful so tasty and crispy and its delicate flavours were not overpowered. For dessert I stuck to my favourite apple crumble and ice cream. We came away happy and satisfied and the bill for the two of us (with a cup of tea) was under £30. Exceptional value and delicious food. We will be back soon!

Richmond Cote was its usual high standard of food and ambience. We had a really friendly waitress who looked after us the whole night and was very attentive.

We received excellent food and service during our pre theatre dinner. The restaurant was warm and pleasantly lit and the staff were friendly, efficient and polite.

We are happy visiting Cote Richmond and enjoy seasonal menu all the time. We hope keeping the quality of meal level and friendly atmosphere by all the staff.

Enjoyed the free Kir Royale which was a birthday reward. The set menu was varied and provided a very good choice of dishes. The restaurant accommodated my seating request so all in all our late lunch was a very enjoyable experience.

Food was really nice..we had 2 specials plus a steak and these were brought in good time. Sometimes the service could have been a little better having said that we were left yo chat and not hurried out...I guess thanks to the snow there was no urgency to turn our table!

I had a really lovely lunch with a group of friends. We enjoy the delicious food and the friendly atmosphere. It is the perfect place to relax over a leisurely meal.

As so often, dining at Côte Richmond was a very pleasant experience. Staff very friendly, efficient and willing to do everything to make you welcome. Service was very prompt (restaurant only partly occupied). Menu well balanced. Good value and good time.

Great customer service. Power out in Richmond so had a taxi paid for to take us to Teddington branch where had a great meal. Will be back.

Very nice food off the early evening menu, prompt service and great value for money. Staff were generally very pleasant and would recommend as a good place for pre-theatre eats.

Nice meal. We booked one of the Cote rewards offers and were supposed to get a complimentary bottle of wine Chemin De Marquiere Merlot. The waitress informed us that they had run out but they would give us a different one instead. We didn't mind and accepted it but it was actually quite bad. Can't remember what it was, but my friend checked the menu and it was the cheapest one they had at £17. Don't mind wine being just a house wine but this one was undrinkable. We left most of it but didn't complain as we didn't have to pay for it

We always enjoy our breakfast at Cote. The service is so friendly and fast and the quality of food is great.

Excellent food and service . A varied choice on the set menu with a large choice. There is always a nice atmosphere and you never feel rushed.

Have eaten is several different Cote restaurants and they always come up tops! We had free kir royale drinks to start in the Richmond restaurant as it was my birthday and the waitress put birthday candles in the Roquefort cheese as I didn't have a dessert. Lovely touch! Smoked salmon starter and sea bass fillets were awesome. Wine excellent too. Thank you.

Went to Cote Richmond last night after a nearly three month away and was surprised by many new faces. Needn't have worried. Service was impeccable! Food ( camambert pissaladiere, coq au vin and creme caramel) was so good that I am upset its the end of the month and menue will change. Good thing is that I will still be able to have excellent St Emilion and creme caramel . Thank you Cote

Very busy. Tables very crowded. Food was fine although my friend had to return hers. She told the waitress what she couldn't eat due to various intolerances (she had checked the menu before we booked), but the chef still added something that was in the food group that she couldn't eat. However, matter was dealt with efficiently and politely. Good value.

My new favourite restaurant in Richmond! Simple tasty food! Love it!

Really excellent service. Such care and attention paid to all diners here. And pride in the staff, great to see them enjoying their work and looking after customers first and foremost. Will definitely return.
