Côte Richmond

Cote is always consistent and excellent. The food is great and the staff attentive and engaging. The joy of lunch in August at Cote is that the ambience is busy but calm, no or very few children, just clients enjoying a good meal in a great bistro.

The best breakfast anywhere! Delicious food and friendly service. Thoroughly recommend it.

Caught up with a friend for a long lazy lunch and it was lovely. The manager was very attentive particular as my friend had recently had a foot operation and he made sure that she was seated in a comfortable and safe area. The food as always was great and the staff were very warm and welcoming

The Staff, as usual, were efficient and helpful (we had asked for quick service and they responded. The food, £13.50, was tasty and cheese and bread for one dessert, although not on the menu, was produced without any fuss.

Prompt pleasant service in a air conditioned environment, much appreciated in this hot weather. The risotto dish was delicious with lots of fresh green vegetables.

Went here before going to the Odeon cinema to see Andre Rieu live in concert, and was not disappointed. Was surprised that Cote was not packed, but enjoyed good service and good food, as is always the case.

It would seem that everytime I go to Richmond Cote I have to write about it. I would not keep returning if it was not my favourite restaurant. The staff, the ambience, theservice and the food are all excellent. Now please let me alone in the promise that if I ever change my mind I will let you know. Chris Lewis.

I booked this for a bridesmaid dress shopping lunch, and this was picked up in my reservation notes very well - we were provided with a glass of complimentary fizz and provided with a booth table which i requested. The service was great, and the front of house manager was especially welcoming and acknowledged the special event - great day, made better by our lunch at Cote - thank you!

Best breakfast in town by far. Service a bit slower than usual this time, but staff friendly & helpful. A lovely place to go for a leisurely start to Sunday!

Cote Richmond serves very reliable French bistro style food. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is always of a high standard. Definitely one of the better places to eat in Richmond.

My wife and I, and our guest , shared an fine experience at Cote. Our table was where we had asked for it to be (by the window) and the meal itself was most enjoyable. The service was excellent. Ten out of ten!

Cote Richmond is without doubt my favourite restaurant for lunch. The service, as always, was faultless. My food was delicious and the wine perfectly chilled. On such a hot day, as yesterday was, it was the perfect escape.

Both courses ..8 meals for my party of 4 were excellent . The evening was just a little spoilt by how hot it was ...no A/C or not working properly .

The starter was supposed to be an artichoke salad but the artichoke heart was chopped up very small and the flavour was completely masked by the strong cheese (gorgonzola?), an unsuitable combination. We sent it back and it was willingly exchanged for the mackerel, pea and poached egg combination which was delicious. The main courses were excellent and the staff, as always, were friendly and efficient.

As always my visit to Cote was great. We were three of us and the waitress showed us to a table that was cool on this very hot day. The meal was wonderful and we went through three bottles of wine.

Again another very poor lunch at Cote Richmond... poor service .. order not correct.. warm wine...and a very lack lustre attitude by staff.. We already complained re our last visit and were given a voucher to redeem at another time but unfortunately it had expired before we could all get together again... We decided to give Bistro Cote Richmond a second chance, but this was not a good idea as we had a very mediocre lunch.. When someone orders spinach to go with a chicken dish we would not have expected them to be given a few leaves in a dish.. it eventually came back cooked but the mistake had already happened...the baked cod was very dry, as it was over cooked and it was referred by my colleague as having been cooked a while and just left.. i asked for no garlic butter on my steak but that request was totally ignored... I would be interested to hear your views on our very poor experience yesterday and maybe seeing we didn't use the voucher that was issued to us in respect of the very poor meal we had last year this could be reinstated.. Restaurants in Richmond are plentiful and the customers expect good food and good service but I am sorry to have to come back at you yet again and advise you that this was not a good experience and I will in future be very wary to book again... I live in Teddington where your restaurant there is a gem, excellent food , attentive staff, and a general feeling of making the customer feel welcome... that was not the case yesterday...The voucher I have referred to was issued by a gentleman called Chris about a year ago who I think was in Customer Relations but as we all live in different parts of the country we just cant meet up as often as we would like hence to voucher expiring... He was very upset to hear that we were not happy diners, I don't think he will be pleased to hear that we still are unhappy with the Richmond branch...we all love Bistro Cote..it is a great concept but the Richmond branch certainly needs a tightening up on many issues... I;ve eaten here a humber of times and as you;d expect from all cote branches, the quality is great and the prices are competitive. Cote's menu i the main reason I go there, and they deliver consistently

Absolutely fantastic service was good, greeted very well and extremely accommodating. As always the food was superb and the complimentary cocktail was delightful. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Food good, nice atmosphere.. service a little poor, forgot olives and bread and slow to offer drinks etc. Would recommend for a work evening or group of friends

Beautiful restaurant, beautiful tasty food for a reasonable price. Lovely friendly staff. We reserved a table and got a booth which I was really happy about. Would definitely visit again and would recommend this restaurant.

Poor service, we were ignored for most of the evening. My friend had to actually go & ask if we could order food!!! 🙄 They clearly need more staff. Very noisy too, chucking cutlery into trays. I requested a table at the back, but got stuck in the front right near the coffee machine....... more noise!!! 😬 Food nice, but atmosphere not.

Apart from staff being rather over stretched, which made getting service a little slow, things were fine ... Meal good, as usual and the restaurant was a pleasant temperarure despite the heat outside.

Services was great. Steak was abit too raw, waiter gave me extra chips and a free pudding! I always enjoy cote, look forward to trying the new branch in Barnes.

I was supposed to be meeting a friend at Côte but her train was cancelled half way to Richmond so unable to get there. I waited with glass of wine and then decided to order main course from set menu but there was no more of my choice so had to settle for alternative. The breaded chicken was rather tasteless , too large a portion and generally not very good. I could not finish it. I had a creme caramel which unusually was not up to standard. This evening turned out to be rather a disaster. Elizabeth

Excellent service. Lovely, tasty food. Very quiet as the England football match was on so we could here ourselves talking. I had booked online and received confirmation but my reservation was not found on the restaurant iPad. Not a problem as for once the place was not full.

Excellent service, food was amazing as always. Charming staff who could not have been more helpful. Perfect start to an evening. We will recommend to family and friends.

As usual, the food and service here were good. This time, I needed the service to be speedy too - and it was. Strongly recommend.

Great new staff and Manager. This has freshened up a somewhat 'tired' place where staff sometimes seemed to appear to 'take you or leave you, shrug....'

Great overall experience. New manager, new staff have really improved this Cote. Starters, main course came quickly and good, fresh, well cooked, great tasting food. Offer of dessert/coffee a bit slow but this is a small gripe in an overall great lunch ! Feedback only......

This branch of Cote gets extremely noisy and you get weary of trying to hear anything. The food is usually good but my dish of plaice had far too much mashed potato and had been standing under a heat lamp too long. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Can you do anything about the noise ?

A great experience as always at Cote. The staff were attentive and the service was great. I had friends visiting from overseas and they thoroughly enjoyed it.

Excellent as ever good service good value good food air conditioning was coping well too. This was a very hot night and all went well.

Wonderful service (was there at 1300 hrs on Saturday 7 July) from the young lady who served us. Couldn't have been more friendly and attentive. Food delicious. I eat out a lot and pay between £40 and £50 for a meal and rarely am I as excited by the whole experience as I was on Saturday. Will definitely be back and will tell all my friends as well. Thanks.

As always Cote gave us good food for a very reasonable price. The Richmond branch is wonderful for pre Theatre supper and the service is always great.

Great food and portion size. Loved their new Pampello (grapefruit and blanc de blanc) cocktails. A great airy restaurant for a hot summer's evening. Service excellent.

The service was slow & the steak on the steak frites very tough. Having said that I have never had a poor meal in this restaurant before and have had Steak Frites 90% of the time. Coupled with the fact that we were sat next to a large table which were extremely loud did not help the ambience.

Lovely lunch from this month's menu. Always a great selection to choose from, and with consistently high quality. Staff are wonderful; most welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes. We will be returning soon!

A great restaurant with a lively atmosphere. Centrally located and convenient for those who want to combine shopping with a lunch. The food is always up to standard and the daily special menu is a real bargain. The staff are friendly and helpful without being over intrusive.

Visited on a busy Saturday. They accidentally brought the wrong starter, but we didn’t have to wait long for the correct dish. Ordered sirloin steak and was a bit disappointed with the amount of gristle on it, but it was cooked to my specification and tasted good. Service generally okay. Nice spot.

Very friendly staff. Brunched with a friend and had plenty of time to catch up. Furniture looked a little tired. If in Richmond again I would return.
