Lovely waitress who looked after us , we had delicious food for my sister‘s birthday

Brought friends for a pre theatre meal, they were delighted with the food and the service. I am no stranger, so was not surprised, as this standard is what I have come to expect from Cote. Thank you for a lovely evening.

This is our second time going to Côte Brassiere, and it was everything we wanted in a night out, we had reservations in going due to the first visit to the Ealing branch, this was down to the disastrous way the staff treated us, it’s a shame as the Ealing branch is closest, we are really looking forward to coming back to the Richmond brasserie

Fantastic management, very well run. Our starter, aperitif and bread came all at once which was annoying but the head waitress offered to bring back the starter and offered us a free wine on the house on Valentine’s Day. The team seem to all respect each other and get along well so good atmosphere amongst staff because of the good management.

Very nice warm welcome, the waiters and as so polite and explain about the Menus.The food was delicious 😋 from the starters to deserts. It’s become my favourite restaurant.

Better than usual - excellent choice of dishes - very well prepared

Food was good small portions and Valentine day menu wax expensive £40.

As always the food and service were good and highly recommended.

Reliable choice for a midweek meal - and good value for Richmond. Scallops starter from the specials menu was particularly good.

Cote in Richmond is just the best place for lunch. As always the staff are friendly and efficient and the atmosphere and food superb - the best value anywhere. Can’t wait until the next time.

As usual, my expectations at Cote was very satisfying, highly recommended & most enjoyable experience

It was extremely busy at the restaurant when we had lunch there which meant the service was a little bit erratic. However, our waitress was very polite and helpful and the quality and value of the food we ordered was very good. One thing we would like to highlight is that my online booking confirmation mentioned we were entitled to a special offer of £9.95/£12.95 for either a 2/3 course lunch menu. When we sat at our table only the a la carte menu was available and we had to specifically request the special price lunch menu we had been offered online. Additionally, when we asked for the bill at the end of our meal we discovered we had been charged the wrong prices and again had to request we were charged the discounted £9.95 price for each meal instead. I accept the restaurant was very busy at the time and mistakes do occur, but when customers are encouraged to book the restaurant on the basis of special offers made to them, more care should be taken to give them the relevant menu on arrival and not just the full price a la carte one.

The food is nice ` but on this visit and previous visit the service is so basic and just not quite good enough We both ordered steak and frites , one as on menu and one med-well done When it was served they had no idea which was which ! So just put down for us to cut in to Then had to ask for steak knives It’s just never quite good enough

The food is great always. However I was celebrating my birthday with 9 friends, so 10 all together, I asked for a special gesture , like writing happy birthday in my desert plate, or something and I was ignored. I was not happy, I shouldn’t have to ask but at least when I asked they should have done something about it Then we ordered bread in two occasions which took so long to come, we even joked about it, if they were making the bread there and then.

Excellent service even when the staff are very busy. Our waitress Faith was wonderful. The food is always great. Love this restaurant.

Reliably good experience. Not eaten at Cote on a Friday evening before so busy and a little uncomfortably noisy.

We had a good Sunday lunch in the upstairs part of the restaurant. We appreciated the fact that we were allowed to sit talking more than an hour after our meal was finished. Of course we would not have done so if people had been waiting for tables.

Excellent food, friendly and professional staff, noticed that one of our party was celebrating a birthday so provided complementary drinks and ice cream complete with candle! A lovely, relaxed and happy experience. Seated upstairs which was calm and quieter than downstairs.

we booked in advance a table for 4. we told the person at the door our name. he made us wait for 10 minutes before showing us to a table. our friends had already arrived and were seated at a different table, out of our sight. by chance we saw one of them and went to sit on their table. things looked a bit disorganised. our starters were OK. 3 of us ordered the stroganoff. the meat was of a poor, stringy quality covered in a tasty sauce. we have never been served such poor quality meat before. there was nobody to complain to and we were embarrased in front of our friends.

Food was excellent as always. Service was very nice. Only downside was it was a bit noisy

Our table wasn’t ready as people were refusing to leave but the complimentary drinks more than made up for it (excellent treatment from front of house). Food and service were excellent

When I made the booking I asked for an easy access table due to the fact my friend has difficulty walking and uses a walking stick. However we didn't expect the table to be directly by the disabled toilet. This in itself wouldn't have been too bad if so many able bodied people didn't use it, Within the first few minutes of stting down the draught from the door opening and closing made us very cold and uncomfortable, so we asked to move. Perhaps there should be a notice saying 'FOR DISABLED USE ONLY' We have no complaint with the food or the service, but this experience has certainly made me think twice about booking this branch of Cote again.

Lively atmosphere, great food, good value for money,excellent set menus. Efficient staff

Excellent and friendly service in attractive surroundings and great location. We had the set lunch menu, as I frequently do in various Cotes, for me personally, the main courses, apart from the vegetarian option, were rather heavy for lunchtime and my fellow diners felt the same. I chose the vegetarian dish and it was fine.

We had a fantastic evening at Côte Richmond. The restaurant was very busy but the team were able to find us a quite and cosy table upstairs away from the noise. Our waiter was extremely helpful and friendly, although the wrong main was brought to the table the team were quick to rectify this and the correct dish was with us within minutes. Overall a very pleasant dining experience.

One of my favourite eateries, sadly I had a meal yesterday which was poor, the beef strognoff was way too creamy (too much sour cream or creme fraiche and no dijon mustard that I could taste), and again today I had steak and potatoes, the potatoes were cold, and the rib-eye the same. The manager offered to reheat the steak, but as we were in a hurry and had already waited 20 minutes or more, we declined. Pity, as usually everything is excellent. I hope this is just a blip. But two bad meals in consecutive days isnt great. I have to say they were very busy. Staff & service very good as always.

The pre 7pm menu had great food at a bargain price. Will definitely book again.

Delicious meal - thoroughly enjoyed all aspects food company ambiance

It was very good. Quiet and no noisy parties, all well behaved diners. Very good service. Food was well presented and cost was reasonable. Nice surroundings. Recommended.

We enjoyed our lunch very much but the noise level was intrusive so much so that my guest had to politely ask the neighbouring table to modify the level of their conversation.

After a waiting too long for our booked table to be ready it was made up by great food

Always reliable on service and food. Perhaps a little more organisation needed at the door to ensure people are not left queueing out of the door when tables empty and have booking - still great

Overall 5 out of 6. We like Cote very much, but it was not easy today to use the voucher that we got (2 courses for 9,95), as we had to check the bill and remind to the team that we booked via the promo e-mail code. Otherwise, thank you for a nice experience. BR, N.
