Excellent french style brasserie situated in the heart of Liverpool. Good choice of food and drinks, fantastic quality ingredients and confidently cooked food. Well priced and definitely not expensive compared to other similar establishments near by. Will visit again

Fantastic evening with great food and ambiance. Celebrated my birthday and had a lovely time. The staff are very courteous, efficient and pleasant. I really love this restaurant and also the 3 course set menu is very good value. Will definitely be back.

what better way to wind down after the Merseyside Derby than with superb food delivered with panache by trained and smiling staff - glad I booked a table in advance to ensure my table.

Never disappoints - everyone is made to feel welcome, service is individual and first class, food is well presented and terrifically cooked. Need to book ahead to avoid disappointment. Pork belly and apple crumble to die for!!

Booked here on relatively short notice. Arrived on time amd shown straight to table. Given menu and was surprised to see some of the items from online menu not on ours. After chuntering about this asked if there was a vegetarian menu and yes there was and there they were. Should have been given or asked if we needed it straight away not left to wonder. No beef bourguignon left, run out on a Saturday night in a French restaurant! Chose a wine and that had run out also but we were given the next one up at the same price. Meal was very good as was service with waiters ready to chat as well as serving meal politely and efficiently . 12% service charge included in bill. Would recommend but be ready to be flexible don't rely on getting what you think you want as it may have run out.

Service not bad. 4 meals ordered. 1 Meal came unfortunately it was wrong meal. A bit of wait for right meal to arrive. The other 3 dinners had finished their meals

Friendly staff, food was delicious- Breton chicken is particularly good. Lively atmosphere, great central position if you want to move on elsewhere, only criticism was that tables are v close together.

We use this restaurant quite often when visiting Liverpool with enough time between to be abe to appreciate the changes. The food was on par with previous visits however I noticed the staff were not as attentive and welcoming.

Fries were cold. Complained and ten minutes later after I'd eaten the meat, new fries, also cold, arrived. Table was in a terrible position right next to staff clearing up station where they took crockery that had been used. Hardly relaxing..,they were so busy they dropped several items. We won't be returning

Quick, good service despite how busy the restaurant was. Food was excellent. Had the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. Tasty side dishes and good wine.

we were welcomed and sat in the window at a good size table. lots of choice on the menus. my husband likes steak and the steak and frites he said was very good. i currently have a stair climbing difficulty and the disabled loo was well located

Cote Bistro never disappoints regardless of the location. Food is great, service is great and when you go before 7pm and get the set menu it’s great value for money. Would highly recommend.

We had an excellent lunch at vote. Service was great, and the surroundings very pleasant. My gluten free needs were catered for with no fuss.

Really helpful staff, particularly Dora who was must helpful and attentive. First course was very slow in arriving but staff were most apologetic and couldn’t fault the quality of the meal. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

Very helpful and efficient service, even though the bacon delivery could not be found! Time was crucial for me (often is in the morning), so important swift timings were maintained. TY

Food and service great as always. Still not happy with 12.5% service being added automatically. I know you can ask for this to be deducted but this would be unfair to the waiting staff. I feel that 10% is ample.

Was chaos when we arrived, one of the party arrived early and was moved from table to table. Eventually we were moved to a table by the bar\cleaning area. Not the best especially as we had booked 10 days previously. However on the positive side, the manager was very apologetic and without asking gave us a complimentary bottle of fizz. The food was excellent , service ok but we were chatting and several bottles of fizz later we had a very pleasant evening . Very busy place , people still queuing to go in at 9.30. Would go again but probably not on a Saturday night. Would recommend but be prepared for a noisy busy place that does serve excellent food.

Wonderful food. A great choice. However, service was a bit slow to order and waited a while for drinks, but they did give us complimentary drinks for our table as a sorry without any prompt. Very polite waiters and waitresses.

Took my parents for their 1st visit, table was ready, staff were attentive but not pushy, food exceptional as always. They loved it and no doubt will be back

Really busy when we arrived, despite that we were uickly seated in a booth. Lovely service, and not rushed (a pet hate of mine). I've been to a few branches of Cote brasserie and always have a lovely experience.

Steak and fries was lovely, last time it had some salad but this time it didn’t. My friend had sea bass which again was very good but we shared my fries because we didn’t realise her dish came without. Service excellent, quality of food great. I have been before and will go again.

We had a great experience and was served by Natalie. She did everything she could to make sure everything was okay with our food and made the experience worthwhile. Will definitely be coming again when I go back to Liverpool.

I usually enjoy eating in Cote Brasserie though this was my first visit to Cote in Liverpool. Although the food was very good the experience was spoilt by the waitress getting the order wrong so we had to wait a further 15-20 minutes for the correct food to arrive. We then had to rush our meal as we had already said we had to leave by a certain time to get to the theatre. The person in charge did deduct the cost of our drinks from the bill but this did nothing to improve our experience. If I return to Liverpool I would not return to Cote.

Beautiful food, staff were fantastic and the atmosphere in the restaurant was really relaxed. Best meal we have had in a long while, will definitely be back.

Average service, with mix up of order so had to reorder delaying food coming out. Waited a while for drinks to be served. Food okay for the cost of set menu.

Travelled from Wales to meet with friends, always try to have lunch here, but cannot always get a table, so decided to book first. Great food and superb wine, reasonably price. Will be back soon

Really enjoyed our meal at Cotes in Liverpool. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff very friendly, didn't have to wait to be served. The duck was delicious.

This was the first time at le cote in Liverpool although we always make for le cote whichever city we are in.As soon as you enter you are greeted and welcomed.always a good start to the evening.Our meal was faultless the wine was spot on what more can you ask for.Definitely 10/10

Excellent service and attitude of all staff made the event a lovely occasion. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone. I had been before but my husband, who is very discerning, hadn't. He thoroughly enjoyed the visit. This combined with the free wine offer made our evening. Thank you all.

Very poor service. Ordered a starter and our mains came before. Had to ask 3 times to get it and also we had to go chase staff members even just to get some salt and pepper. Food was decent tho

We really enjoyed a great meal and very good service last night.Good atmosphere too. The staff were very efficient and seemed to worl well as a team which I think makes a big difference. We have been to Cote many times and it is always enjoyable. Great menu, lovely staff, delicious food. Well done Cote see you soon, looking forward to it.

Front of house staff attentive and friendly as normal but the service very very slow which is unusual for Cote, especially as the restaurant was not full. Manager did apologise for this. On the upside the food was nice when it eventually arrived. The only other downside was the state of the toilets. Again not up to Cote's normal standard. Like to think it was a one off experience.
