Great value early evening set menu with plenty of choice and the food was delicious with good portions. Service was attentive but not overbearing, would definitely recommend!
Staff are lovely, friendly and attentive but not hovering over you all the time. Food is delicious and early bird meal deal is such good value.
Really good meal in a pleasant environment with attentive staff. Loved the Soupe de Poissons. Think a French restaurant could provide a few slices of baguette with a Gratin de Fruits de Mer without having to charge extra?
Excellent service, it always feels like a special occasion at Cote. Food also excellent and brilliant value for money. Waiters/waitresses are always attentive and accommodating.
We much enjoyed our return visit to Cote Liverpool, having eaten there several times previously. As usual the food was great and the service was superb! Definitely the place to go to if you don't want to be disappointed.
Food and service were excellent. There is always a good atmosphere with the staff willing to make your experience an enjoyable one. We sat outside and there were heaters which helped! All very good.
Excellent service and brilliant food. A fabulous evening for my partners birthday. We could not have asked for any more. Lovely atmosphere also. With thanks.
Once again an excellent lunch served well by friendly and efficient staff . Good value too. The meals at Cote are consistently good, I am never disappointed!!
Fantastic food and staff! Despite the restaurant being really busy we were attended to and looked after. It was fantastic and perfect food! I would definitely recommend
Helpful and pleasant staff. Food was very good although some foods on menu not available. Avocado salad was a little short of avocado. Would revisit
Very busy so service a little slow, but good choice, including vegetarian, and fixed price menu very good value, though iced berries with white chocolate sauce not very pleasant- Cote might want to rethink this dessert.
Food was ok , pudding good. One item on lunch menu was not available and I had to asked for wine a second time. Staff were very pleasant
We enjoyed our meal, the tomato soup and ham and melon starters were tasty and the steak frites and half chicken mains were delicious. Service from the friendly waiter was efficient and timely. There was a good ambience as the restaurant was busy.
We had an excellent lunch, served well, and promptly too, the staff are friendly, efficient and welcoming. We have been visiting the Bistro since it opened in Liverpool and it has never let us down!
Lovely meal. As it was a busy Saturday, understandably the table wasn't quite ready so we were given complementary drinks on the terrace, which was really nice. Staff attentive and polite.
Did not like the set lunch menu as much as on previous occasions. Also had to remind staff that I had ordered a portion of chips with my lunch, and do not want it served with my pudding. Apart from this enjoyed meal and am coming again this week.
This branch of code is located in Liverpool one very close to the Albert dock, the layout of the restaurant is delightful and well appointed as it was an exceptionally hot day we were able to dine outside and it was very reminiscent of dining in Paris. We were attending a conference in Liverpool so I booked a table for lunch. We chose to set menu. July’s set menu once again at is absolutely fantastic, we will welcomed and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and has always the food exceptionally well presented and really delicious. There is no doubt about it the site luncheon menu and early evening menu offers exceptional value for money.
We chose from the early evening 2 course menu for £10.99 plus drinks. We had excellent starters of tuna pisalladiere and mains of seabass, Food and service were first rate. Delighted that they are opening in Bournemouth
Great service with wonderful food served in brilliant surroundings. Second time at this location and once again the staff , food and ambiance were excellent.
Good service with a nice atmospheric feel to the place. Particularly recommend the lemon tart and the pudding wine that is served in half bottles
Lovely restaurant in a great location Food was delicious and set menu great deal. Staff great and very attentive and friendly We will be back
We were given a warm welcome. Our soup arrived eventually but was barely warm. This was swapped and the staff were apologetic. I am a vegetarian who does not eat cheese and once I was given the vegetarian menu was able to choose the puy lentil dish (without egg) which I really enjoyed. My partner had steak and fries. This could have looked more appetising with some garnish. The staff were really pleasant and adjusted the bill so that we were charged for 2 specials. We were seated near the door. At a few points during our meal it was difficult to hear each other due to the clattering in the coffee prep area.
We chose from the 2 course early evening menu for £10.99. Soup and seabass. Excellent meal and service in pleasant surroundings. Why go anywhere else.
Great service, a bubbly atmosphere Combines with lovely food to make an excellent lunch. Good value makes this an unmissable part of a day out in Liverpool
Restaurant was very busy . Staff were attentive. Food ok , side orders came after we had finished mains but overall it was a good experience.
Great meal, service & atmosphere. Particularly enjoyed the steak Tatar and the sea bass with fennel off the 10 year anniversary menu, yum! Always a reliable option.
very attentive staff restaurant was a bit hot on arrival but they put the air conditioning on. Food nice hope to return for another meal
Friendly waiter and pleasant surroundings. More formal than the bistro round the corner so not quite the same ambience, but they do a good early evening offer on weekdays (which we missed!). Food was excellent and value for money not bad. I have rated 'waiting time' highly because we booked - essential as they were turning people away.
A very pleasant experience. The waitress was very friendly, helpful and efficient, while the food and wine were up to the usual high standards. Delicious!
Since our last visit a few changes to the menu gave us extra choice. Food was excellent, wine good and service spot on as usual. Our group of four had a really enjoyable lunch.
Very nice meal, had the 2 course offer which was good. The service was very good too. Would go back again and would recommend it.
Friendly helpful staff serving good food. Menu choice excellent. Would recommend the Liverpool restaurant. The special offers for up to 6pm are good value for money.
Very good staff, excellent food. Nice ambience. Unfortunately impacted by noisy neighbour guests but the things under restaurant control were all of excellent quality. Expected Côte standard
Service was okay but the steak was not great. Chewy and it arrived cold like it had been cooked in a pan that wasn't hot enough and then left to wait for the rest of the food. The place was not that busy but we arrived absolutely soaked through after a storm and it would have been nice if they offered to take our coats so they could dry etc. Food service was good
Staff friendly and helpful. Nice touch with the complimentary water. Good choice on the menu and food excellent. All in all a very enjoyable afternoon.
Fantastic food in a lovely dining environment and will return, but wasn't keen on the 12.5% service charge which they automatically add to your bill.
A very pleasant evening in spite of the staff not having prepared our table after having booked in advance for four people. Didn't bode well but we chose a table and the staff quickly set it up.
Very nice food and staff, however the service was on the slow side for a lunch experience when time is limited. Air con was too fierce for comfort. However, would recommend bistro overall.
Both my wife and myself enjoyed our evening as usual, service was excellent and both of us finished with an Irish coffee. Regards, David Taylor. ps. I had Fish Stew, very tasty but I was surprised to find vegetables (potatoes etc,).
Cote has never let us down yet. Always great food, great service from attentive staff and good value for money. You must have their creme caramel.
I'm still uncomfortable about the practice discretionary tipping. I feel this is the only negative about Cote who otherwise continue to provide a great dining experience
We always tend to eat at Cote when visiting Liverpool and you can always rely on the quality of the food and service. On this particular occasion it was breakfast which was excellent enhanced by the weather and being able to eat outside.
Excellent food and service. A friend and I have visited this restaurant a couple of times in as many months and can't fault it. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
The restaurant had been very busy with brunches. There was s slight delay in turning the tables round but after that the food came relatively quickly and was very good. Would recommend.
I think that for the price of the meal vegetables should not have to be purchased separately. The potatoes that came with my meal were more like peas and there was only 5 of them. What i had was lovely though. Nearly an hour wait for our food. Staff were very nice
Food excellent as expected. I ordered the sourdough bread to start but they didn't have any ready so I would have to wait a little while if I wanted it so I agreed, I actually got my main meal before the bread was ready! The manager apologised when I eventually got it and took it off the bill. Overall a good experience.
Lovely evening as always. Fabulous food - friendly & attentive staff, without being too overbearing. My friend and I were having a very long overdue catch up and as such took ages to order (too busy chatting!) and this wasn't a problem. We were assured you were in no rush for the table so we stayed all evening! ( there was A LOT of wine.....) Thank you so much. A total delight.
the food was great - eventually. one of us ordered a well done burger with bacon and cheese. the burger which arrived was medium and had no bacon or cheese. the staff quickly acknowledged the issue and a new burger duly brought. overall a nice meal
Friendly, informative service. Varied choice of tasty, French based dishes. I particularly liked the salmon served with a deliciously tasty ratatouille. Thought the champagne special was a bit overpriced.
Excellent meal and friendly staff, my only criticism if you can call it that, was that for me there wasn't enough time between courses. Other than that everything was brilliant.
