Friendly staff, food was excellent, little slow between courses had to send soup back as it was cold but they solved the issue quickly and efficiently

It was some goood grub like I really loved to eat the food and put it in my mouth and taste it and swallow it

Nice atmosphere, décor and friendly staff. Although quite a limited menu, especially the early evening menu. Recommend trying the mackerel roulette. Great deserts! We enjoyed our visit.

Excellent food and service. Look forward to going again.loved the surroundings which led to a very chilled atmosphere. Wide choices on menu so don't know what to try next time.

I absolutely love this restaurant. It’s a very cozy one the background music is subtle adding to the ambiance of the place. The food is always excellent and the service is superb. The staff are always welcoming and I just love it

It is usually my go-to favourite restaurant, but last night we had a lovely booth table but it was placed next to the bar area and possibly where they kept all the dirty plates. Constant clanging of glasses and crashing of plates right behind me wasn't exactly what i had in mind for a family dinner, I could barely hear the party of people I was with. The overall atmosphere was lovely and the waiter was kind and attentive. 4 out of 5 of the meals were beautiful, I always go for the roast duck breast and it is always delicious. However, one member of the family ordered the venison and it arrived cold in the middle, we sent it back but it took so long for the new dish to come out we had all finished our food. Once the new dish had arrived we had to send it back again as the chef had left a very long and hard twig which we were then told it was a sprig of thyme...either way it was dangerous and shouldn't have been in there. The first manageress who brought the new dish out gave no apologies but the second apologised and made sure it had been removed from the bill and gave him a menu for a new free choice. He chose pork belly, it came reasonably sharpish and it was delicious. Overall, the food is usually always excellent hence the 4. I was particularly shocked as I have always had positive experiences here. Nonetheless I will return because I enjoy the duck too much!

Food was excellent. Brilliant night from start to finish. Our waitress was well presented and very friendly. Made some great recommendations. Would 100% dine here again.

Food very good but unfortunately side dish did not come until main course was almost finished despite pointing it out when the main course arrived.

We took some friends who had not been there before and we all really enjoyed the evening. Food was great and really good value for money. Service was also excellent. Would certainly recommend it.

A truly wonderful evening from all of the staff but in particular from the manager herself! Absolutely, nothing was a problem and she was as always exceptionaly friendly. That was my 4th visit and I know the place has become a firm favourite. A very easy 5* experience

We enjoyed our experience at Cote Liverpool apart from the service charge being presumptuously added to the bill (albeit) not obligatory). especially as it was 12.5%, I my opinion, service charge and the amount should be left to the discretion of the customer and based upon the quality of the service. no pun intended but it left a nasty taste in our mouths.

Lovely restaurant right in the centre of Liverpool. Had a lovely meal, very accommodating with dietary needs. Would definitely recommend this lovely restaurant. A1 star

Slightly disappointing. Staff invisible towards end of the evening. Therefore late ordering dessert and choice not available. Also this meant no time for tea/coffee after meal.

We visit this restaurant on every visit to Liverpool there is a good atmosphere the food is excellent and the service first class. Our waitress tonight was exceptional I think she was Dutch I’d employ her anytime.

I found the food excellent, the staff and sevice was equally as good, really enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant it was very relaxed. The music was on too much of a repeat.

Great atmosphere as usual and fantastic food as always. Highly recommended as the set menus and breakfast are great quality for money no doubt if we would go back again

Tasty French meal in a nice atmosphere. Set menu good value although some dishes were sold out when we were there at 7pm. Service generally good and we were not rushed out when we had finished. Would return.

It was an excellent meal. The staff were excellent. The wine was excellent and the bill was great. We often go to this restaurant and recommend it to all our friends.

Very friendly helpful staff though perhaps not enough staff on so things a bit haphazard. Arrival of food somewhat slow. Food tasty and nicely cooked. We went for breakfast.

Excellent food as always, excellent service from excellent staff especially Sergio. A most enjoyable experience. The website was easy to use to book a table.

Friendly welcome on a quiet evening, attentive service and good food made even eating alone enjoyable. Pork belly dish delicious. Would recommend this restaurant for locals and visitors alike - usually pays to pre- book to avoid disappointment.

We were welcomed well and shown to our table and after perusing the Menu we began to order but as soon as my wife chose from the starters she was advised that her choice of Crab was not available. This should have been advised to us when seated and not at the time of choice. Our mains arrived but my wife tried the potatos

Staff were very friendly. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived and my friend was wished a happy birthday, which was a nice touch. Food was very good. The sauce with my main was devine, would have loved more it was that tasty. My friend was not given the complimentary dessert as promised but the rest of the visit was spot on.

Food was of a very good standard. Unfortunately although complementary was disappointed with the Merlot. Service was good and the staff were very friendly. Looking forward to the next visit.

Lovely food, only gripe being that chicken and mash needed more sauce as it was very dry. Very good service, restaurant rather noisy for me.

Food and staff excellent, but it was extremely noisy. Made worse by a large group of people waiting to be seated standing around our table shouting to one another to be heard over the noise. This not only made it noisier, but they invaded our space and we felt quite uncomfortable. It was not their fault as there was no where else for them to stand - there being neither a bar nor waiting area. This spoilt our evening. They staff were apologetic, but frankly there was nothing that they could have done to improve the situation.

Always good friendly service. I come here at least once a month for lunch and never disappointed. The food is excellent and there is a good wone list. Good value.

So simple to book on line.Pleasant relaxed atmosphere, friendly attentative cheery staff. Varied,reasonably priced menu. Tasty food but the soup could have been served hotter.

Regular here. Generally very good. Good value too. Service can sometimes be a little irritating. Heaters on outside seems such a waste, maybe consider PIR switches?

Handily placed for our hotel - only 5 mins away. On the edge of Liverpool One. Usual very good choice on the "Early bird" menu. Service was very good as was the standard of the food.

General décor & atmosphere was very relaxed & comfortable. Our leek vinaigrette starters were disappointing as the leeks were rather tough & stringy. We weren't asked if we'd enjoyed them & generally there wasn't much interaction with the staff. The main course was good. I was rather annoyed that 12.5% "optional" service charge had been added to the bill. I opted not to pay it. We might think twice about recommending it to friends.

Always a lovely restaurant to visit, no matter what the occasion. And again it did not disappoint. Even though it was a busy night, we where treated greatly and enjoyed the occasion immensely. Will be heading back in no time I’m sure.

Cote quiet today(Tuesday) but as ever service excellent and quality of food remains as good as ever. Would always recommend. Pork belly is one of my favourites Ken Wallasey

Service & food excellent but the music was so loud that we could hardly hear each other speak. Also the tiny coat stand was completely inadequate for such a large restaurant & on leaving I found that my coat (& others) was on the floor!

Dreadful, appalling, amateur, unprofessional, costly, Never again, staff not interested, Expensive house wine, uncomfortable bench for sitting should use to display flowers. Don’t use the 50% off voucher as you only get 50% size

We had a lovely tasty meal at a very reasonable price. Staff very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We will definitely come here again.

As always a wonderful meal .........my duck was cooked to perfection and my wife's fish parmentier also excellent and the staff are lovely. We look forward to our next visit.

Very good service and food was great for a pre theatre meal. However still can't believe had to pay £2.50 for 3 small slices of bread to go with soup starter.!

Took advantage of the Early bird menu and enjoyed a very comfortable evening made extra special by the attention of the staff and excellent food. Well done.
