Côte Liverpool

A very enjoyable experience throughout So easy to reserve a table online , this has proved necessary twice on as many weeks as within half an hour of being seated the restaurant was full , and people started to que to wait for a table . The waiting on staff promptly brought us our pre lunch drinks and took our order. The starters arrived very shortly , delicious. Main course ,well presented and delicious.very happy with my steak and also my partner with his vegetarian option. The wine we chose was well presented and the bottle correctly chilled. All together a very pleasant experience . We dine out at least twice a week either in liverpool city centre or chester also we have our favorite canalside country pub that we like to visit and a very large garden centre near manchester which offers a selection of eateries under one roof so it's easy for us to compare , and we rate Cote as one of the best, never having had a disappointing meal or poor service there , which sadly we have experienced in other restaurants in our city.

We had a lovely meal in a lovely atmosphere. It was my friends first visit and she thoroughly enjoyed it. I frequently return because of the consistently good food, efficient and friendly service and real value for money. I have never been disappointed at Cotes Liverpool.

Service was excellent but one meal was not do good. The gentleman had the stroganoff and the meat was extremely tough. Not offered a replace or a reduction.

This was an extremely successful visit. The food was excellent and the staff attentive. There was a small blip when I had to ask for someone to chase up the desserts but altogether, the meal and experience were positive: a good selection of dishes, well cooked and presented.

So disappointed tonight: This is our favourite restaurant in Liverpool. We are always telling people how nice the staff are and excellent food. The waitress was reluctant to let us have our usual table and we had to insist. Very strange as the restaurant was almost empty. We were rushed to place our orders even though we arrived at our usual time of 8.45 pm. We were told that we could not have coffee after the meal as the machine was being cleaned (at 10 pm). Once again we had to insist. The bill had an extra drink item (which we had not had) which we asked to be removed and added to the tip. Tables being cleared before we left ....we know now not to come in January again as the staff want early finish.

Superb food and service, Tables a little close to each other which meant you could all of other tables conversations., otherwise lovely place to visit.

We’ve not eaten at Liverpool restaurant before and really enjoyed it as Chester is our nearest would go again

Really lovely dining experience for a special trip to Liverpool. Staff were so friendly, and the food and wine were excellent. Online Booking is easy and is recommended as it seems to be a busy restaurant -which is always a good sign. We hope to come back to Liverpool soon and will definitely visit again. Thank you!

As always great experience at the Cote - superb food, friendly service, lovely decor. The restaurant is a walking distance from the High Street and nearby shopping centre and hotels. Highly recommended!

A difficult evening for the staff as someone at an adjacent table was taken ill and had to be hospitalised.. We were given free coffee at the end as compensation for the delay in getting our meal, which was a nice gesture.

Whilst I cannot fault the young waiting staff, the same cannot be said for the kitchen staff! Whilst the place was busy, it was by no means full and, having sat down on time - and placed our orders with reasonable speed - we were still waiting for our main course 75 minutes after starting. As we had a concert to go to across town, we were obliged to bolt down the food and leave 10 minutes later - not something we would have planned at all.

Service was incredible from start to finish. The fillet steak was unreal and we wanted something off the menu but they had ran out , they upgraded our meal at no extra cost with sides to compensate. Brendan our waiter was very attentive. This won’t be our last visit here!!

Always a good choice for breakfast. We chose the French Breakfast & French Toast which have become our favourites. As usual food was hot, tasty and well presented.

Always good at Cote . Great staff love the atmosphere and food . Only slight negative today was that out first choice foods (French onion soup and pork tenderloin) were not available and we were unaware of this until ordering , however the alternatives were very good .
