Helpful and speedy service. Good starter choice and varied main courses, and bream cooked to perfection. Red wine slightly on sweet side despite being from Italy. We will return.

Restaurant was very friendly, the food was very tasty and well priced - we didn't have dessert but if we did i am sure it would have been pushed up to a 6 rating!

The service was great and the food was lovely - except the tart which was served with the duck. There was a great atmosphere and I'd definitely visit again.

Fabulous food and service, made even better by Prosecco Tuesdays! Lovely ambience in the front restaurant area. Will definitely be returning for the chocolate fondant dessert.

Excellent food, although would be better value to go before 7 with their set menu. We went after 7 with normal menu which was a bit overpriced for what it is, but overall enjoyable experience

Lovely environment to be in, wasn't to busy on a Friday night which was nice. The food was of a very good standard. Going to be going back soon.

An up-market restaurant with a quiet and relaxed atmosphere with high quality food. Myself, wife and two children (15, 9) had the excellent 7-course taster meal (the only option on New Years Eve). It was very expensive at £60 per person (no kids option), but the kids enjoyed the food and it was a good and different experience for them. I recommend this establishment.

I really like this place. Having been a few times, the staff are always friendly, the food is good with slight twists that you don't expect, in a good way! Prosecco Tuesday is something we discovered on the most recent visit and was most welcome for those of us not having a 'dry' January!

Overall a great experience. Good food at an excellent price. The service was good. Only negative was that the honeycomb on the desert was burnt.

Food and decor were quite good. The head waitress knew what she was doing, but the others seemed to have no clue/first day on the job, or to at least have a serious lack of confidence. The improvement in service would have well enhanced our visit. Also was slightly expensive for what we got.

Food was amazing. Crab starter and hake for main. Was beautifully cooked and delicious! Wine was lovely and house was delicious and not over priced. Service was attentive and accommodating but not suffocating. The staff were also happy with us just sitting and drinking more wine and beer after we'd finished out meal instead of making us feel pressured to leave and vacate the table. Wonderful establishment. Would visit again!!

The CT experience was really nice. Top quality cooking; fine wine and an excellent, knowledgeable, professional yet generous staff to take care of your evening. Can't complain, can you? Definitely going back there again.

Not amazing. Sunday Roasts advertised 12-6, arrived at 4 and no beef or lamb left. While the chicken was nice, the service wasn't fantastic and the whole meal was on the expensive side.

Delightful restaurant with happy, smiling staff. Very good food fully justifies their pricing. Service charge all passed on to staff. Highly recommended. Soft shell crab was particularly good, but the menu changes often and depends on that which can be obtained fresh, especially the Cornish fish.

We just had a Sunday Roast at Cornish Tiger, it was PERFECT, the roast potatoes were crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside, the roast beef was so tender it didn't need to be cut it just fell apart, the portions were very filling & the icing on the cake was the staff, very attentive but not overbearing, i can fully recommend this establishment 10/10

went on a double date, atmosphere was lively and blueberry margarita was very good! Starters were OK, I had the halloumi salad and found it to be bland, my boyfriend had the wings and was impressed. The main was a big disappointment we had the "chef recommended" cote de beauf, the food was well presented but very disappointing in taste. The meat was way over cooked for medium and so fatty the actual edible meat was very little between two people. The bearnaise was not nice and the roasted potatoes weren't crispy, the cabbage on the other hand was by far the best veg on the plate very tasty. The dessert were again just OK. Overall the service was good as well as the cocktails but disappointed by the food and would probably not return unless just for drinks.

Visited midweek so not too busy. Food was very good and menu offers good selection at reasonable prices. Our choice of starters (soft shell crab and trio of smoked fish) in particular were excellent. Will definitely visit again.

The food was very good. It was delicious, of high quality and presented beautifully. However, I thought the wine by the glass was rather expensive. Sadly, we were the only ones in there which was quite bizarre as it was a Saturday afternoon, so there was zero ambience. The restaurant itself though is lovely, casual, yet modern decor with very comfy seats!

This is a nice restaurant which we visit regularly. We enjoyed our cold tomato soups, and lamb and ribeye steak mains - though the Tiger Sauce was a little hot for my taste! Service was pretty good, though as Friday evening the restaurant was popular. Our only quibble was the wine list - not much choice for under £30 a bottle.

Great lunch. With two people lactose intolerant the chef had kindly gone through his menu and ticked which dishes would be best to have.... even before we had arrived. Attentive service. Nice food. Nice place.

Cornish Tiger is a terrific advertisement for fusion dining, to use an overworked and perhaps slightly old-fashioned term. Their combination of English ingredients and delicately Levantine flavours works wonderfully. The staff are friendly and welcoming, offering just the right level of service. And, joy of joys, the cheese board is the same price as the desserts.

The food was lovely but the service was terrible. It wasn't particularly busy when we went but it took ages for food to arrive and trying to order drinks was impossible. One friend arrived late and she waited over an hour for her drink order to be taken.

This was our first visit and would definitely recommend it. The food was good and very tasty. Some things were surprisingly spicy which wasn't mentioned on the menu so if you're not into heat i'd suggest asking the waitress first (ours was very good at explaining the menu). Only issue was our cote de boeuf. I was having a cheat night after dieting for weeks and was wanting an indulgent treat so opted to share the Chefs recommended Cote De Boeuf with my fiancé. Sadly it was a big disappointment- whilst it was well seasoned and looked perfectly cooked it was tough and the meat tasteless. The bone (normally a bonus and good fun to gnaw on) was sinewy and impossible to get anything from. In fairness to the staff we didn't mention this until after we'd paid (and just mentioned it in passing as constructive criticism) they were very apologetic and said they would have replaced it had we asked. Two others in our group had the rib eye which was out of this world! Overall a nice meal and reasonably priced

Went to Cornish Tiger in Clapham and loved it! I had never been before but a friend and I have a regular lunch date and always try somewhere new, and this had got excellent reviews so we thought we'd give it a go. We both ordered from the special set two or three-course menu and the food was delicious, and the service was top notch too. The only odd thing was that we were the only diners in there (it was a Wednesday lunchtime) so I can't comment too much on the atmosphere - though we liked the décor - but I imagine it must be a buzzy place when it's full. I'd definitely eat there again, and if you haven't tried it yet, go!
