Brilliant authentic Asian food, a reall foodie treat. This restaurant has dishes from different regions with a real focus on street food. Decent value and great service.
Excellent Food in a chilled out atmosphere.Good explanation of the different dishes available and it is great to taste alternatives to the standard dishes available in most curry restaurants
Friendly helpful staff. Food was nice but quite spicy. Would be better if the menu had a spice rating to help when ordering food. Would go back again.
Lovely food, pleasant ambiance, service a bit haphazard. Waited some time to be seated despite pre booking table, not offered drinks or menu whilst waiting.
The food at Copper Lounge is really tasty and reasonably priced. This was our second visit, the restaurant was less busy this time but the service was not as good. It wasn't bad, everyone was v polite but it was small things like having to ask twice for some more water, having to ask for dessert menu and to get serving spoons for the main course. We will visit again.
Really lovely tasty food. Very authentic and fresh. Would highly recommend. Also all the staff were helpful and friendly. It was also a nice atmosphere
Food was fantastic.Service was slow I think they were not expecting to be so busy at 6pm on a Sunday but as it was Father's Day they were caught out. Really unusual dishes which were very tasty and well cooked.
Restaurant rather small and the extreme noise of the other diners was off putting. The food was very tasty. The service was good.overall satisfactory.thank you.
Fantastic restaurant, amazing food - starters are to die for. If you like Indian food but want something different from the norm, yet amazingly tasty this should be on your list to visit. The owners will walk you through the menu, and you'll learn a little bit about the origins of some of the dishes. Even the cutlery is amazing! Highly recommended.
Overall we enjoyed our meal and would go again. We ordered 3 starters, sheek kebab, squid and also fish tikka. The fish tikka was delicious, the squid had some spicing that was different but not really to our taste and the kebab ok. We shared a naan with the starters and that was very good. For mains we just had bhindi and dal makhani, both excellent accompanied by aloo kulcha. Next time would definitely have the fish tikka and bhindi and also try something else. Service was good
We'd heard good things about this place, and were hoping to find a nice local curry house. The place is very clean and well decorated inside with a friendly atmosphere. The service was friendly and helpful which is important because the menu is different to those I've seen before. Poppadoms were good - different styles which I enjoy. WE got a mixed starter which was very nice although I'd be tempted by a veggie option next time. Both my gf and I very much enjoyed our curries. I particularly like how you can choose your own level of spice.
excellent and superb food - very authentic and tasty - good service and will definitely return - priced reasonably - good ambience as well - thanks
Very welcoming. Lovely atmosphere. Interesting menu, lots of choice. Helpful, attentive staff. Service was perfectly timed. Food was well presented, on attractive plates/pots. The meat was good quality. Bread delicious, rice perfectly cooked and presented. Delicious overall and just the right amount (we ate everything!) Perhaps the decor could do with an upgrade, particularly in the WC/washroom. We will definitely go again.
Excellent restaurant! Would highly recommend. We are eager to go back and try some more dishes, in particular the starters. The Goan fish curry and lemon rice was delicious.
Top quality food together with excellent service. Have already recommended this restaurant to quite a few people. We shall certainly being going there very soon.
Food was absolutely gorgeous. Have never seen staff being that proud of the dishes they serve. Food was great and won't be the last time I went
Really interesting and tasty food. Good service. Modern and clean restaurant. Lots of different street foods to try. Lots of spice and garlic in the sauces but not too hot!
Quality of food good but the platter starter offer is misleading. Six starters appear to be offered but only four portions arrived. For £10:95, this represents poor value for money. Apparently we weren't the first to be confused by this. My main meal was lovely, but a hot plate to maintain its heat would have been welcomed. The restaurant was quite busy on Saturday night and the service suffered slightly as a consequence.
Booked for 8pm on a Saturday night (our first visit) but had to wait 30 mins to go to our table, then another 15 minutes to order our first round of drinks. The poppadums were nice but the small portions of dips didn't go very far between 4 people. The veggie platters were nice, two of the curries for our mains were a lot hotter than we would have liked but the menu makes it difficult to know which ones are the hottest unless you really know your stuff. The staff were ok but because of the painfully slow service we didn't get the experience we were expecting going from the excellent tripadvisor reviews. They were just too busy to cope and didn't have enough time to spend on each table. Very sorry but won't be visiting for a second time.
First time I have been to the Copper Lounge and it was fantastic. Great to go to an Indian restaurant that was different than your normal British Indian. Service and food were both great
Excellent food and service sharing starters excellent looking forward to going again pricing is similar to purple pakora and blue nile 4 adults 2 mixed platters 4 meals 2 rice 1 nan 4beers 1wine total £109
This was my second visit, the first one being around November last year. The food was delicious as before and the staff were friendly and very helpful. I thought the portion sizes were possibly a little smaller but I don't have a large appetite anyway. I had lamb sukkah and found a couple of gristly bits in the lamb but it was all very tasty and different from the usual Indian cuisine. I'll definitely go again but avoid lamb in future.
We all had very nice evening food was excellent and service and overall very good. Just bit of waiting round when we all arrived, apart from that excellent.😀👍
Food is amazing very authentic there could be more staff to make the service quicker but the staff there are very friendly, the takeaway food is Also great I woukd def recommend the copper lounge to anyone
Excellent all around! Great food, great service and a great time. Thank you. We will definitely be back here in the very near future !!
Nice flavourful curry's - but very pricey for small portions. Bought 2 sharing at £9.99 and £12.99 overpriced for the amount & value of food on the plate.
really impressed with the food, excellent service, definitely be returning, mixture of traditional and indian street food, not over priced, very busy which speaks for itself
Long wait for our main course even though it was quite quiet .Third visit but not quite found our favourite dishes yet .Popodums expensive .Yet to be impressed ..........
Very helpful and friendly staff and the food was lovely as well - we had a couple of the sharing platters which were really nice and had a lot of different flavours
Great and friendly service, great food. About a 10 minute wait to be seated as they were very busy, we had booked, but at the end of the day it's a quality place, so you expect a lot of customers. Highly recommended.
Another fantastic meal. Very different from your normal Indian restaurant. The waiters are very helpful and provide good recommdations. I will definitely be returning. :)
Good service, food well explained and when it arrived, delicious and plentiful. The only problem we had was that we had seen on the website that on Sunday a two or three course Thali was available, but when three of our party had said that they could not manage three courses, we were not told that the two course thali was not available and we were charged for three courses. The management did make a small reduction on our bill. On the website, it was not very clear that only three course thali was available. This needs to change. However, after saying this, I would most certainly visit again. The food is the best Indian food I have had and I have been visiting Indian restaurants for about 65 years.
Excellent service and food. The starter platter was fantastic. Tasty lamb chops. The currys were lovely, not too spicy. The king prawns were huge. A wonderful experience
Fantastic menu Great choice Lovely flavours Tasty food Spicy deli starters Butter chicken All round very good Freindly staff Great service We will return Thank you
Excellent authentic food. The restaurant had a good atmosphere and the meal was well paced. The menu is full of interesting dishes and we will be back to try more!
Charming hospitality, great ambience and fantastic food. Was really enjoyable to experience the range of dishes on offer-many a refreshing change from standard menus. Will definitely be returning.
Lovely staff and delicious food with an interesting menu.. Plus it was very reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning here for more meals in the future.
Very impressed - it was a Saturday night so they were extremely busy, however, waiters did apologise for any delays. The food was a different style of indian cooking so waiter explained menu at the beginning. The sizzling platter was scrumdidliumtious and food piping hot and plates hot. We would highly recommend this establishment and definitely will be returning - pleasant staff, nice ambience and delicious food, what more could you want?
Excellent food. Great atmosphere. It was a little slow this time, we have been a few times before. There was a couple of large parties before us. We were with friends so it really didn't matter,we were talking. I think if it had been just the two of us it might have. We would certainly go again.
An enjoyable evening, with lots of atmosphere. The food is a very pleasant experience and quite different to the conventional curries we're used to. This is my second visit, and would highly recommend.
Cute restaurant, Staff very friendly service a little slow as the restaurant was very busy as it was a Saturday night. Would recommend to friends and family. Thank you
A different experience of Indian food. Really enjoyed the varied menu Pleasant staff, restaurant a little cold but overall best restaurant in the area Thanks for great night
Gorgeous food, service not quite there tonight but will try again. Very different curries and superb range of starters presented on a platter. Nice decor.
First visit on very busy New Year's Eve. Staff very helpful explaining menu well so we could make good choices for our party of six. Service excellent very attentive all evening. Food was excellent too. We shared three different platters to begin with, which were all delicious. We were given the choice to have our mains served straight away or have a little rest which was well received. Mains presented and cooked to a high standard all eaten and enjoyed. Will visit again soon.
Lovely meal, friend,y staff we always enjoy it! It can get very busy though and there could be more staff but overall it is definitely worth a visit. Food very authentic, it the usual Indian restaurant
Lovely food and staff very pleasant been a few times now with different people all of whom really enjoyed it. Going back on Thursday with more friends
Great restaurant, food was excellent and a neat twist on your standard Indian. Region specific menu well laid out and the goan platter was my favorite.
