Fabulous food, fabulous atmosphere and outstanding friendly staff. Well worth a visit. Very different to your “traditional Asian restaurant with the main differences being the quality of the food and the presentation.
Great food, lots of small dishers adds variety rather than just sticking with mains. Lovely feel and nice atmosphere. Service was good and food pipping hot... highly recommend
The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was lively and warm - though a couple of mistakes were made with our order, the service was still very good, and all issues resolved quickly. Will certainly go back - excellent restaurant!
This was our second visit to the Copper Lounge. Both meals were excellent, with good service from friendly staff. The street food starters are a must, we would recommend Pani Puri, fabulous. There are some really unusual dishes on the menu so if you love Indian food and want to try something a bit different give it a try.
Great food was fantastic as normal. The price for the beer is a little expensive, and we had to wait half an hour for our table to be ready, but that wont put us off returning soon
Had a great evening with good food and service. Staff are very friendly and professional. Menu Request for future bring back Tawa Chicken. Thanks to all and Happy New Year!!!! :)
Overall a very good meal, but not as tasty as the last time we went a few months ago. We did order different meals which possibly explains the reason. The welcome was warm and friendly, with quick efficient service with smiles. The dining area was spotless. We will certainly go again.
Food was excellent and very authentic. Visited India recently so nice to have somewhere that was authentic. Service was good and staff friendly. Highly recommended
We went to the Copper Lounge for the first time on Thursday . The staff were very pleasant and courteous. The Restaurant is very comfortable and pleasant to sit in and the food was very nice if not a bit pricey. The car park at the rear was full of deep pot holes which was a bit treacherous to walk through in the dark however we will definitely be going back there soon
Food excellent as always, particularly the curries which were delicious. Only slight negative were the bhajis, they were a little dry Service was very friendly and the guys seemed to really care, but it was a tiny bit slow (although it was a Saturday night so understandable).
Great food as always and a regular treat for us. Even the Xmas rush didn’t affect the service
Great experience. The waiting/entrance room is lovely, nice fish in the tanks. Had poppadoms, which were a bit different to the standard as two varieties were included. We then had the mixed meat starter, all of the selection was tender and tasty. I had the lamb shank for my main which was amazing, everyone in the restaurant was having a look at it! My girlfriend had the palak chicken which was delicious. They were also happy to accommodate for a request to include paneer in our mains. Great meal and would definitely recommend. Worth commenting the staff were friendly and attentive and got our bill very fast when our taxi arrived early!
The food at the Copper Lounge was excellent as always. We went for the sunday lunch Thali which was delicious and good value for money. Its definitely recommended.
A superb Indian meal at a very reasonable cost - highly recommended. The new menu is excellent, with a range of starters which are easy to share with your companions.
I took my partner to the Copper Lounge for her fortieth birthday. We came again and last night. Great staff, fabulous food a real treat. Thank you :)
If you’re looking for authentic, top quality Indian food in Cheshire then this is a must visit. Exactly what real Indian food enthusiasts will appreciate!
A great alternative to a “traditional” Indian meal. Authentic dishes cooked to perfection and knowledgable staff. Really good service and reasonably priced. First visit of many!
I have been here a few times, and each time have never been disappointed. The menu is very varied, and the staff are very helpful to explain each of the dishes for you. The staff are attentive at all times.
Great food with menu choices unique to The Copper Lounge. Service good and friendly. Portion sizes good but a little pricey compared to other Indian restaurants.
Fabulous food as always and great attention from the staff. Especially helpful as we were celebrating a birthday and they joined in. There isn’t a better Indian food restaurant in south Manchester.
A really superb curry experience. I would recommend the Copper Lounge. Service, ambience and food are really top notch. If you like a curry you must try this place.
Attentive service, delicious food but not the usual run of the mill Indian menu. Plenty of choice for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Well worth giving it a try.
There is a new menu with added food it was a very busy night the food was delicious took a while for the drinks to come and for the order to be taken but really enjoyed the food and the staff are lovely
Great food with a varied vegetarian selection that even carnivores would enjoy! The lamb biryani was exceptional Definitely visit again soon, lovely staff and very attentive.
Fabulous service on top of fabulous food. The street food as starters are great tapas style starters and i really cannot recommend The Copper Lounge enough
Lovely evening meal , both food and staff were excellent. If you want a 'English style' curry go elsewhere, but if it's traditional local dishes you're after then you're at the right place. All dishes can be served to the strength you want - just ask. Craft beers available which is a welcome change.
The food is excellent, although its a shame they've stopped doing the sharing platters as starters, they were great. The drinks through are outrageously priced: £2.50 for a small diet coke! With children in tow that soon adds up to the point where you begrudge leaving a tip :-(
this is the best indian we have been to. great service and the food was amazing.we will definitely be returning in the very near future
Excellent food. Great to have different curries than the normal curry house offerings. Fish curries particularly good . Starters unusual and very tasty. Return visit a must
A fantastic range of authentic Indian cuisine to choose from, tasty street food style starters and truely tradition mains... a very enjoyable meal and warm welcoming service.
We have eaten here before but the quality of food no service is and continues to be outstanding. A really different menu to your typical restaurant with each meal fantastically presented.
A lovely restaurant with friendly attentive staff. The food was mouth wateringly delicious and so different to your average curry. Can't wait to go back.
It's a great place to eat - good authentic food and attentive service at very reasonable prices. We've been several times and will doubtless go again!
The best Goan fish curry I have ever tasted. We took a friend who is vegetarian and he was very impressed by the choice of lovely Indian vegetarian food.
Absolutely fabulous food, authentic and very well prepared. The staff were lovely and attentive. The best Indian food around, we would definitely visit again soon.
Great meal as always, food is good and the staff are very helpful explaining the menu. Good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it to others .
An excellent meal with friendly service. The food is of very good quality and the prices are very reasonable.Recommend chicken and spinach and andrah lamb.Chicken tikka was brilliant.
Really nice food very original menu and service was excellent our first visit to this local restaurant and would definitely go back again with family
The food was great and not oily at all as is the case in some restaurants. The service was excellent. I would highly recommend the Copper Lounge to everyone.
Excellent food. Contemporary decor. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Not too pricey. We were with another couple who were also very impressed. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Lovely restaurant. Great food and service. A little different to your regular Indian menu, influenced by different regions in India. Would definitely recommend and will be going again.
Service was excellent and menu looked good but food did not live up to expectations. I ordered fish and it was mushy. Not an unpleasant evening but I am unlikely to rush back
This is the best Indian restaurant, food consistently good, would recommend it to anyone. The Sunday thali is good value and the Goan fish curry is a particular favourite of mine.
The food and the service is really great here, we had a lovely meal. The Sunday thali is good value and we will definitely be trying some of the main menu options another time.
Food is very good. Well worth going for. Tasty and something different to other run of the mill stuff. Service still needs fine tuning. Was not busy but service bit haphazard again.
Great food and service as always, didn't like the loud woman and her two little darlings (brats) on the the next table. Normal service was restored as soon as they left.
Visited on Mother's day without knowing it was a buffet style service. However, this proved to be ideal as we got to try much more than we would normally and some things I would never have ordered. The kids all loved the mini fish bite starters and the chicken kebab. My eldest and I both adored the fish and lamb curries. The veggie choice for my wife was extensive and more varied than usual. She particularly liked the panneer dish. All the food was excellent - even the Indian Rice pud. This is my 3rd visit, but the families first and the all agreed with my previous high praise. Definitely worth a detour if you don't live nearby.
The service was excellent. The food was very tasty and represented average value for money. The drinks list is a little limited for none drinkers.
Fantastic meal with our friends who hadnt been before..they also were impressed and stated it was the best Indian meal they had ever eaten..much busier now but the service and quality hasn't suffered..very impressed
This one of the best meals I have had in a while. Everything was delicious! The only thing I disliked was the chocolate cake on the dessert menu, which I felt was out of place in the authentic menu. Would recommend the tandoori duck. Will be going back soon!
