Copper Lounge

This is a pleasant restaurant with a slightly different take on Indian food. They serve street food as well as more formal dishes and everything we had was good. Anyone used to fairly spicy food should go for 3 chilli dishes, or ask for others to be spiced up a bit. There are English beers as well as the usual lagers and the service was good. Nothing not to like.

Restaurant very busy - which was good to see, but it made service a bit slow. Great food - interesting menu ! Would certainly go again.

Great atmosphere, great selection of food choices, the food was excellent and the staff were very efficient and friendly. Definitely my first choice for Indian cuisine, for a sit down or takeaway.

The food was amazing so many different flavours. I have never tasted such wonderful starter dishes and only £4 per dish. I highly recommend to anyone who likes curry.

Really great food, service and staff. Food was fresh and tasted amazing. Lots of choice which as a vegetarian is rare to find so was much appreciated. Non vegetarians also enjoyed there food and ate some of the vegetarian street food.

Another lovely meal at The Copper Lounge. Kalamiri chicken to start, followed by Andhra Lamb which is perfection. The keema naan complimens it all. This is simply great food, great taste, great service. It's clear why this restaurant continus to rate so highly on TripAdvisor.

Lovely food, good service, nice atmosphere and all at reasonable prices. Staff are very helpful with the menu if you need it, not your usual menu. Would recommend.

Goan Fish Curry was delicious, and the onion rice a welcome change from the usual pilau rice. Good ambience and friendly, helpful service. We'll be going back!

Food is excellent here. The staff are very helpful in explaining the various dishes should you need any help. Always polite and never rush you. Perfect atmosphere.

Food very tasty but all 4 of our party found the dishes rather salty. We asked for a jug of water and it came to our table lukewarm. The service was slightly erratic - our poppadoms didn't arrive so we prompted the staff and after they had been served, within 3-5 minutes, our main courses arrived. Very perplexed looks from the staff who were serving us!!

Excellent food as always. Nice to experience a different type of Indian cuisine. I Particularly like the non standard curry main dishes. Well worth a visit to this restaurant.

We went on Sunday to try the Thal menu which we enjoyed. Thought it very good value Worth a return visit to try the main menu.

Food and service excellent as ever. One tiny criticism; some of the lamb in my main wasn't as tender as usual, but overall very happy with the meal.

Authentic Indian food served by friendly welcoming staff who are passionate about their restaurant. Great choice of street food or mains, lots for vegetarians and everything is delicious. Highly recommend.

Big fans of all Asian food, I was looking forward to going here. The menu looked great but we were disappointed with the food. We were on a very small table in the middle of the restaurant - staff and other diners were constantly walking either side of me, knocking my leg and elbow - the tables are really packed in here! Service was excellent but the prices were way too high. There are so many better, cheaper Indian restaurants not too far away. Unlikely to return.

Food, nice but not much, family with screaming children..too expensive and would we go again..no! Children shouldn’t be allowed after certain times..it completely ruins your evening..

The friendly service, relaxed ambiance, and great tasting food, made the experience a pleasurable one. One downside concerned my starter. I had lamb chops and usually I would expect 3 or 4 chops, and was disappointed that there were only 2. Also, the prices were a little on the high side, and so the 25% discount merely normalized the prices. I will go again but will avoid the discount free days.

Meals were great. Service good until after main course cleared. We were then left for a very long time and not asked about desserts or coffee. We had to flag someone down to order
