Not impressed. First visit Two small courses. Far too expensive. Won't be back

We had a lovely dinner and our waitress Anna was excellent.

First time at your restaurant. Access for mobile impaired is not good down the stairs. Could not see another way in for the elderly lady.

Enjoyed our visit to Cooks Bar and Restaurant. Main course portions were perhaps not what I’d expect for the cost but the food itself was very good. What made our visit was the member of staff who took our order and waited on our table. She was excellent and made the unrequested effort to provide an extra special touch for my 95 year old aunt’s birthday.

Restaurant looked great, lady who served us was friendly and lovely, food was amazing and prices were reasonable, would definitely go back

My sister and I were taking Mum and Dad out for lunch to celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary. The meal was lovely and very reasonable. The waitress was very helpful and when we ordered coffees, she had gone to the trouble of designing a diamond shape on the cappuccinos for my Mum and Dad which was a really nice touch. Very kind and thoughtful of the waitress and it meant a lot to my Mum and Dad too ❤️

Been to this restaurant before and it was lovely but this visit food wasn’t that nice, one waitress decided to rearrange the tables, and move them across the floor while we were eating very annoying wont be back.

Great choice of foods on menu, perfect portion size and excellent value for money. Our server was attentive and courteous throughout and we didn’t feel rushed. Definitely would recommend to others

We were four for lunch. I had to move booking by 15 minutes due to flooded roads. Staff were very accommodating. Nice choice if menu and food was good.

Great service, lovely atmosphere and absolutely superb food from the starter right through to the mains , chef's recommended tomato soup and steak pie ,very impressed, highly recommend and would definitely go back.

We have eaten in Cooks Bar and Kitchen several times before, and chose it to celebrate our friends 75th birthday. We were not disappointed with any aspect of our visit, the food was excellent, and the service from the 2 young ladies that were serving us, was world class; we had a very special time with them, our sincere thanks for looking after us so professionally. If you haven't eaten here before, DO, you will not be disappointed.

Despite the fact there was only one person in the restaurant when we arrived the service was slow. Diners who arrived after us were served before us.
