Fantastic little restaurant, we had 6 plates and loved them all. This is one of those restaurants you want to keep as you're own little secret and not tell people about in case it gets too popular! We will definitely be returning.

As always, this having been my fourth or fifth visit, every aspect was brilliant.Amazingly interesting flavours to the beautifully presented food, extremely friendly welcome by the manager and a charming young lady looking after us in a "non-pushy" manner. One of my guests, who had not visited Senhor Buddha before but dines out very frequently in Brighton, said it was simply the best restaurant she'd ever visited in the city.

Top class small casual restaurant serving unusual and tasty tapas and rationes with an Asiatic twist. The service was exemplary. It was enjoyable to sit at the bar and watch the friendly chef and his team work to make our dining experience a total success. We will return.

Very creative tapas dishes. Great ambience with the buzzing kitchen open for all to see. The service was friendly and very efficient. However, a bit pricey and very tightly packed tables.

Food was great. The chefs very obviously enjoy what they do. The waitress serving our table was friendly and very helpful. Overall, I can't fault anything about the experience. I'll definitely be going back.

Food was excellent and service second to none. The only slight hiccup was that the table wasn't ready for the time we had booked. But they were very apologetic.

Saturday evening was our first experience at Senor Buddha and we came on recommendations from friends. Why we haven't made it here before I do not know as it was great. Inventive food, fun atmosphere, excellent wine and really lovely, informative and fun staff. What more could one ask for? The restaurant also attracts a mixed age group which is another of it's attractions. Can't wait to go back.

Great food and lovely atmosphere. The only negative this was that they didn’t take card and didn’t warn us about that. However would definitely go back again.

This is a small restaurant with bags of buzz, such a great vibe and the food was pure class, service was fun, by that I mean brilliant but certainly not stuffy. Great with friends, great for a couple, great start to a night of dancefloor moves.

Food was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful. Portion sizes slightly on the small side, obviously being tapas this is expected but even for tapas they were quite small.

The restaurant was fun and the food fabulous! Staff were friendly and engaging recommending various meals according to our dietary requirements. I cannot remember the last time i had such creative amazing food. Having eaten at 64 degrees in the lanes, I would rate Senor Buddah much higher and its cheaper. I really wish I could eat here every week.

This place is fantastic, I couldn't recommend it more highly. For months I went past it wondering if Senor Buddha was Asian or Spanish and decided that the schizophrenic name put me off. Then some friends went there and raved about it - my curiosity was peaked, so I booked it for our wedding anniversary dinner. We had a late sitting at 9:15 and were seated at the "chef's table", right in the heart of the action watching the chefs at work and sitting up on bar stools so that we could see all the other diners in this small restaurant. We were disappointed that half of the small menu had sold out, but ordered what remained and it was ALL delicious. Is it possible to look elegant and refined while running your finger around the plate to mop up every last smidgen?!! We had cod cheeks, brussel sprouts, BBQ Korean pork belly, calamari and tenderstem broccoli. My husband marveled that they could make broccoli and brussel sprouts (vegetables as a form of torture) taste divine. We had a scrumptious wine made from unicorn extract (!), the music playing was awesome and just the right volume and the waiter/owner(?), Dean, helped us to have a thoroughly enjoyable anniversary dinner. Long may this gem of a restaurant carry on!

Fantastic flavour to the food, however despite ordering 7 rather than 6 tapas plates as advised we found ourselves still quite hungry after the meal. This is highly unusual for either if us not being huge eaters. You are basically just eating the ingredient mentioned and a tiny bit of garnish, in tapas portions, but without the nutritious fibrous vegetables or salad I crave with all my meals as a side dish to fill us up it was disappointing to still feel hungry and unfulfilled . It is a very small compact venue with a lively atmosphere which is extremely noisy when full on a busy night. So much so that we gave up trying to have a conversation entirely as we just couldn’t hear each other at all, so not the place to go if like us you haven’t had a night out with your other half for over a year and you want to relax in each others company. The 2 waiting staff were super friendly and helpful but had to ask 2 guests at the table next to us to move every single time they needed to serve the two tables behind us, a ridiculous set up. This is because the space really is much too cramped for their table layout. Overall despite the gorgeous tasty food, competing in a city teaming with innovative restaurants serving glorious food I wouldn’t rush back, it was far too noisy and hectic to be a relaxing evening of good food, and £60 for a meal for two with no alcohol but you are both still hungry when you get home is just not rewarding enough for us!!

I love this place. We’ve been regularly since it opened. I wish it would keep some of its tapas classics, but they seem keen to change their menu regularly, continually pushing themselves to find new flavours and test out new ideas. The pear and white chocolate dessert, oxtail and sweet potato were excellent. The staff were upbeat and helpful.

Went there with my wife. Very tasty food and cosy atmosphere. Some might say a little pricey for what it is however the Spanish / Asian fusion works well and the carefully created sauces fit each dish perfectly. Not a place to go if you have skipped breakfast or lunch but if you want a nice meal and appreciate inventive cuisine you won’t be disappointed. All in all we were happy and would recommend this restaurant for something a little different or for a sneaky date.

Fun, friendly atmosphere, some of the dishes were spot on whereas others didn't quite hit the mark. The padron peppers were perfect, the sesame pork ribs delicious. But some of the fancier 'raciones' either had ingredients listed I couldn't taste (aioli and fire in the asparagus dish for example) or too much flavour - such as the prawns which were in quite an unpleasant sauce overpowered with ginger. Keep it simple when ordering and you'll have a great meal!
