Fantastic food, fantastic wine and fantastic service. One of favorites when in London
Excellent ambience and great selection of tapas and vegetarian dishes.
I've enjoyed eating at Cigala in the past but this time it was below par. The low point was anchovies from the tapas menu which looked suspiciously like tinned anchovy fillets transferred without culinary intervention to the table. I expect better than this.
Both tapas and main menu and food quality was good - nice location on a corner of a pedestrian area which seemed a friendly area with lots of locals chatting - service could have been more attentive
The food and wine is very good and reasonably priced. The restaurant is located in an interesting and pleasant area and service is always excellent.
Great food and Great service. Authentic Spanish tapas in a lovely location
Fabulous food, wine, atmosphere and service. My second visit and certainly won't be my last.
Our party of 4 enjoyed all the tapas that we ordered. It was well cooked, hot and well seasoned. The service was good although a bit slow at times but the restaurant was busy. I would certainly go back again to try the set menu. JB
Really fun place, nice people, great atmosphere. Food a little behind some if the very excellent spanish offerings available in London but all round a lively restaurant!
The tapas was fresh, interesting and presented well. There was also a good selection of desserts. In summary it was a very enjoyable meal. I would certainly recommend Cigala.
Lovely decor, friendly staff, laid back atmosphere and absolutely DELICIOUS food!! I brought a recent business connection as a treat and we both gobbled up our lunch with mucho gusto! I will most certainly be back!!
Very discreet. Great service. Great food. I would highly recommend the tapas.
Authentic Spanish food with and extensive wine list to match. This restaurant is built on knowledge and true passion for quality, which comes across from all members of their team
Great fresh food, in season. friendly and efficient waiters. Good value for money on the set dinner choices Cake slices could be a little more generous
As ever, excellent food and service - great evening with friends.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere!! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a good night out!
Good for lunch - decent menu. Service could have been quicker considering not busy. Would recommend to anyone in the area that likes Tapas. Outdoor tables available.
Cigala is always pleasantly busy, food is great, wines too and staff is friendly, knowledgeable and the whole experience makes you want to coma back again real soon!
We ate at 8 PM on a Saturday, so were not expecting peace and quiet. But it was very raucaus, to the point where the meal was spoilt. The restaurant badly needs to soften the interior walls and ceiling, both of which are hard surfaces. Nothing to be done about the glass walls, of course. So be warned this is not a relaxed venue. The two servers were polite and only got one dish wrong, tho to be fair another server was badly needed, either that or a table clearer, which job the servers were also doing. The food was mixed in quality - with the salads being tasty and creative. Excellent Spanish wine list. Give Cigala a try if you like for lunch during the week, but definitely avoid crowded times. It would also help if certain patrons could be mindful of their own contribution to the noise level; one table of well-dressed 20 somethings were hooting like they were in a pub on a Friday after work.
Very good, pleasant experience aged food was high quality and The staff were friendly
We chose the Tapas menu, with a carafe of house wine. There's a wide choice of tapas, all very tastey and attractively presented. The service was quick and friendly.
This is a fantastic restaurant - really wonderful, authentic Spanish food. On the night we went, there was a staff shortage and the service was a bit slow - but the overall experience was still great.
Lovely food and wine. Easy to book, nice location, quiet when we went but busy when we left. Fantastic value, thank you very much :)
This was really great - the food was terrific, the service efficient and friendly, the atmosphere buzzy but too loud. The desserts were especially indulgent and special.
Wonderful food and drink. I can't say if it was typically Spanish, but I can say that it was delicious (kidneys followed by sea bream), and cooked with skill and passion. A very friendly place. Highly recommended.
Service and food were great. The paella was very flavoursome and they also have an extensive tapas list.
Very good value nice staff and tasti food thanks we will see you again
Great food, superb atmosphere and friendly staff. One of my favourites.
We had the weekend set lunch, a selection of delicious tapas, followed by a shared seafood paella between the four of us washed down with sangria. Excellent and friendly service, a thoroughly enjoyable lunch
Booked a table for two for our wedding anniversary, the food and drink was great, as was the service. We were well looked after, definitely recommend this restaurant.
Cigala is a lovely neighbourhood restaurant where service is relaxed yet assured, and the food is always good. I only wish it was my neighbourhood!
Excellent tapas and very nice wine. Quiet but not dead on a Sunday evening.
Amazing restaurant, we have been several times. Friendly service, lovely food and a robust wine list. We are still talking about our dinner 3-4 days later.
Quite expensive, nice menu but a lot of the options had alcohol in them which I cannot have. Very busy and loud, not great for business meetings
Fantastic food, beautiful scallops and beef, delightful dessert and delicious wine, served by helpful friendly and authentically Spanish waitress from Valencia. Never fails to disappoint.
High quality food, cooked to perfection. Tasty and great value for money - will definitely be visiting again for more. Great wine selection too and quick service.
Pleasant, helpful service. Main course of Paella with mussels and other fishy bits highly rated, but some way from the best Paella I have tasted (on a beach Costa de Sol). My dining partner and I thought the Restaurant well chosen and we would certainly be happy to repeat the experience.
This is not my first time here and I love this restaurant. This time, the paella was very salty. I don't think I have had it before so I was surprised. The wine delicious. Very good atmosphere but noisy. Waiting staff were jolly and helpful.
Good quality tapas with a decent range for vegetarians. Friendly and attentive service. Maybe slightly overpriced, but recommended.
The food was good and so was the service. The restaurant is a relaxed, pleasant place in an interesting part of town and its prices are reasonable.
Excellent food, attentive staff, lovely ambience and pleasant surroundings. Lived up to expectation.
I love this place and have dined here often. This last occasion did not disappoint. Tasty and authentic food, great sherries and wines from Spain, excellent service and a good atmosphere combine to make this a go to. Good value for money in my view. I will be back again and again.
Another excellent meal - some interesting new tapas dishes (pigeon and rabbit empanada) on the menu too. Great service as well.
Fantastic food very good service thank you for the great paella
Great food and service - not rushed at all - and a good atmosphere. We had a mixture of main courses and tapas dishes which were all excellent.
Lovely, friendly service, beautiful, deliciously fresh tapas - will definite be going back. Highly recommended
We arrived early and we were well received.Food and wine delicious and attentive but not intrusive waiter. Will return to this all day serving restaurant .
Nice atmosphere, we went early so easy to chat..it does get quite noisy later in the evening. Food good tho not if your after fine dinning.. nice mid week supper!
Good food, very busy, service could have been more attentive. Small plates seem to work better than regular dishes but 3 course special was high value. 4
Always like Cigala...but I should have stayed with the tapas... the paella was too filling and a little too salty and I would have preferred coming away feeling hungry (slightly) rather than worn out and unable to move. But that said I still enjoyed it and, as ever the staff were pleasant and welcoming. Nice glass of sherry too.
