Wonderful atmosphere, staff are lively and food was amazing. Great food prices
Booked ahead of time, and when we arrived the restaurant was closed. Pretty bad.
We had a lovely long business lunch at Cigala. The food was excellent (especially the tapas dishes) and service was perfect. Recommended!
They were especially flexible with options for dietary restrictions. Really wonderful chef and staff, brilliant tapas
Good range of authentic tapas, interesting wine list and lively service.
I took my Spanish daughter in law and she always tells me this is the most authentic spanish food in London - what more could you ask for? Delicious.
Delicious tapas in a lovely area. Highly recommended. Yum yum.
Food tastes nice. Portions quite small, menu typical tapas. Good for a quick lunch but probably wouldn't go back for a while
This is my favourite place for Spanish food in London
Excellent gaspachio and wild trout, fresh ingredients, well served & nice atmosphere
Lovely early evening meal for 2 before a show at the nearby Museum of Comedy. This is a light and friendly restaurant serving good quality Spanish food and located in a pleasant but lesss hectic part of London. We ate early (1800) so the place was quiet but was filing up by the time we finished . We had tapas. The fried baby squid and Secreto pork were particularly good. My whisky cake, ice cream dessert was also unusual and delicious and my wife said her after-dinner coffee was one of the best she had had in ages. A good choice of Spanish wines by the glass, carafe or bottle. Service was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back again.
A regular for us good service nice food and staff very friendly
Food and service were very good but the restaurant was extremely noisy, making it difficult to have a conversation.
The tapas food was nice and all staffs were friendly.
I always enjoy Cigala. The food is authentically Spanish and the service excellent.
It was a little too quiet normal for Saturday afternoon.
Good food from a restaurant we like. Love the new (to us) menue.
excellent dinner in restaurant with animated conversation all round. A good smoking terrace outside!
Slightly revised tapas menu, with some tasty new items to explore. A very quiet evening probably due to big football match made for a particularly peaceful evening. Service as ever prompt and friendly
Underwhelming tapas - OK and mostly warm, but without real character. One dish (of asparagus) had crunch, but mostly from the sand still attached. Keen staff and acceptable basque white wine. Very noisy party alongside in a small dining room made for uncomfortable eating..
As good as ever. I have been going for years.
Really gone downhill. Food smaller and far less interesting. Burnt toast the start of a ongoing decline
Reliably great tapas, relatively economical. Great wine list too, including organic options!
Nice atmosphere, great food good service. A great place for lunch meetings.
Great food & service. Felt like a local restaurant but with really high quality cooking.
As always the food was of an excellent standard. Unusually for a lot of restaurants it was served hot as it should be!
It's great and I always like going there for lunch, maybe twice a month
As usual the food and wine were excellent, and the service was efficient and helpful.
A great evening out with good staff and food. , recommended.
First Visit to a Tapas restaurant and was must impressed with delicious food.
We loved the black rice and the tapas... everything was very tasty and fresh.
Very nice food and generous portions. we felt a bit sorry for the restaurant that it was not very busy at all on a Saturday evening. But a bonus for us as it was quiet.
Great tasty food and good service from very pleasant staff.
Excellent competitively and sensibly priced evening set menu, with good wine options.
Lunch time reservation - Excellent food and very good service - would recomend
Very good paella and overall very pleasant dinner with nice ambiance
Great food and atmosphere very attentive staff and good paella
Good food and friendly service. Can get too noisy but we were lucky to have a relatively quiet evening.
Sadly, Cigala is not quite as great as it was when we lived in London and used to eat there regularly. Food was good but not exceptional. Service was friendly but felt perfunctory. Nice overall but not the best meal we’ve had there.
Food was amazing. Service was awful. Delicious tapas plates much enjoyed.
The waitress was far to busy to be running all the tables on her own - I felt sorry for her
As always, very good food from the tapas menu, will be back again
Pleasant restaurant experience. Starters and mains were good but need to improve desserts.
Tapas with extra flair. Albondigas were perfect - meatballs served just right. Fluffy inside. Excellent service.
Excellent food and excellent service, as always. I recommend the baked crab tapas!
The food was delicious and the service was good. But it is very expensive and not particularly good value.
Met friends for a catch up, we had the set dinner menu which was delicious and amazing value along with a fine bottle of Tondonia. We all loved it.
Very good food and nice relaxed ambiance, and understated decor. In a great central London hideaway location. I’m vegetarian and there are lots of suitable tasty tapas options. will return.
Excellent food, excellent wine, great atmosphere, great service as always. I have never been disappointed by my visits to Cigala and I've been going there for about 7 or 8 years!
Great! I mean, I'm not a tappas expert, but great! Paella a bit salty, but I'm sure that's what it's like in Spain. Bonga! Oh. 25 words minimum. Bonga again!
