This is a lovely pub\ bistro the staff are friendly, courteous. The food was lovely and well presented. I would definitely eat there again. Well worth a visit

Visited on a Saturday lunchtime. Great atmosphere and truly scrumptious food - chilli beef noodles highly recommended. Staff attentive and very friendly. Thoroughly enjoyable lunch!

Waited a long time to be served, food nice but over-salty, however nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and would probably go again, but try something different from the menu, reasonably priced and decent portion

A very busy vibrant bar with a mostly 20/30-something clientele. The menu is vast and varied so there is something for everyone and it is value for money. The staff are extremely welcoming and, despite being rushed off their feet, very attentive. A really fun place to spend a Saturday night!

Enjoyed a lovely pre theatre meal. There was an excellent choice on the menu. Staff attentive but not too in your face. Will definitely return again

Sat on bar stools with a 6 year old child. Lamb burger was a quarter the size of the bun with no sauce super dry. For £13 McDonald's double cheese had more flavour. Nice decor but no excuse for the average food. Plus a delivery of wine came through the front door which which was propped open with a wine box leaving a cold draft coming through making my son cold.

Good friendly service and good food with interesting food platters for sharing. A combination of meat and veg platters would give a good balance if there is enough of you. Craft beer selection could possibly be improved.

Lovely place, food was good, however the noise got pretty bad from other diners, so much so we could not hear each other speak which was a shame

The lunch was fabulous especially the skin on chips. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Can't wait to go back again.

Great service, great food + reasonably priced, will certainly visit again. The wine list is excellent. Chime is a wonderful place, something that has been needed in Hartford for way too long.

Superb food and top rate service. The lamb, mojito creme fraiche and pine nut pizza was something very special and the rural board was as always tasty and well presented

Great little place to enjoy a relaxing meal. Sadly the wife's meal was wrong at first but second time round was ok.

Have been previously with really slow service and was reluctant to come back, but service and food were both great and definitely will be back

Everything was lovely but the only thing that wrecked it was the prominent drop of the bill on our table. Made us feel very unwelcome !

Excellent food especially the vegetarian curry (I'm not a veggie!) and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely return soon to try the carbonara which looked amazing

Lovely ambience, very good quality food. Service could have been a little more attentive. (When we received the bill, no-one came back to our table for ages as staff were a little busy chatting amongst themselves!)

Prefer to go during the week when you can hear yourself think. Too busy for us on a Saturday and they don't seem to have tomato ketchup available in the condiments section on a Saturday .

As always the food was exceptional. The servers were attentive and made our experience even more enjoyable. Chime itself is such a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Terrible customer service! I am severely allergic to sesame, I chose my meal off the allergy menu which said it contained no sesame. It arrived covered in sesame seeds, I would have ended up in A&E had I not known they were sesame. However the chef was very helpful and cooked it again with no sesame, and a very good meal. I will not return there in a rush!

This was my first visit to Chime. I experienced a very efficient service, the staff were friendly, the food was excellent and I enjoyed a very pleasant evening in a relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely visit Chime again and would recommend it to anyone.

The resturant had very friendly staff, great service, not long waiting for food, which is delicious and with generous portions, me and my boyfriend certainly left feeling very full.I would recommend.

Fab place. Lovely quirky atmosphere and food was lovely. Just wish we had been told about needing the table back as felt we were rushed :( definitely wouldn't have had time for dessert had we decided to have it

I ordered the signature dish which was a on the bone sirloin (£25). I asked for medium rare but It was actually inedible due to unable to cut it even with a sharp steak knife.... Not sure what the chef had done to it or it was just a really bad (cheap cut) steak. I returned the dish and told the waiter but I wasn't offered an alternative or even an apology. I wasn't charged for the item. Generally the rest of the food (excluding serloin) could be classed at best as mediocre, except the beef and noodles which was presented as a microwaved lump of stodge. Awful experience for myself and 2 friends.

We sat upstairs and there was a great atmosphere. The staff were great but we were told to pizza and sandwiches as the other dishes cannot be great but we had a great late lunch here and would definitely go back.
