Excellent food and swift service. Good gluten free choice also, which swayed our decision to try the restaurant in the first place. I'd recommend it and will certainly be coming back.

Out of soup at 12.30? No alternative, so not impressed with that. Nice table, and layout. Chips were fabulous, but the bread was thick. I know it is fashionable these days, but it is stodge I do not want.

Gorgeous food and cocktails! Staff were lovely! Definitely will go again! My friend had a nut allergy and chef even came out to check she wasn't allergic to sesame seeds too which I thought was really nice!

Good environment. Wobbly table no.14 upstairs.... steak ciabatta was hard to chew I think it needs to be sliced up and a lot more easier to chew! Other that that it was excellent!

Wasn't clear how to book the afternoon tea, so we ended up with a meal instead. Will now have to use our Boucher another time.

Very friendly, good food and a lively atmosphere. The average age of clientele was around 25. Our booking was not in their system and they rated the service from Quandoo as very poor.

Brilliant service & the food tasted amazing! The value for money is so good. I am looking forward to coming back again in the new year

The atmosphere was very good and the staff were very attentive. Everyone in our party of six enjoyed their food and commented the portions were substantial.

Great food and service as always! I maybe should start trying something different and explore the menu but the Salt & Pepper fries are my ultimate favourite and the Garlic, Mozzarella & chicken flatbread is lovely!

Delicious food, a friendly atmosphere and helpful cheery staff. We were greeted on arrival and taken straight to our table. Staff were always happy to help even though they were clearly rushed off their feet as the place was full. I like that there is an option to choose a smaller portion size. The only downside was they ran out of the dessert I had wanted.

No cutlery given when served food. Ordered eggs benedict, it didn't resemble eggs benedict, muffin wasn't toasted no ham on the muffin with eggs and hollandaise on top. Eggs benedict is an English toasted muffin with ham, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. There doesn't seem to be any consistency at breakfast time as before I have been served eggs benedict on toast (not a muffin), also I have always ordered eggs royale and this time the waitress said it wasnt possible and they have never served it?! Seems very inconsistent. Shame because when chime first opened it was first class but it seems to have gone down hill after the 1st 6 months of opening.

First visit to Chime, we had 3 courses, the food was gorgeous, every single bit of it! Will certainly be back. Great Service, great food! :-)

Upon arrival before we'd just about been greeted and were immediately advised we had to leave for 9pm Table was too close to the toilets and store cupboard Service was "ok" Food wasn't as described on menu, although we mentioned this and the staff did take great care to look into this to and were very apologetic No ice cream due to a staff member leaving the freezer open and ruining it all (75% of desserts have ice cream in them) Windows next to our table were opened without asking us (and it was literally 2 degrees outside, so we closed it) Staff competency levels were minimal e.g. We said we'd have a lemon tart if the portion as big, waiter said he'd check and a tiny tart arrived - disappointed An unfortunate accumulation of lots of little issues but also felt like the establishment is trying to be a great experience but lacking good basics (the staff and food levels are not where they want or need them to be) Would we go back? in a word no

Our starter of Nachos was burnt. My main of pasta with mushrooms was below average. Service was "basic". Viz : "have you finished". " we're closing now" - even though the restaurant was full. Very cramped table with cocktail "training" taking place at the table nearto which was so loud that you couldn't even talk. Have never had a problem here in the past and the food has been good. Has it changed hands????

First time for me so was very impressed, will definitely go back to try something else on the menu . Nice attentive friendly staff .

There were 3 of us for lunch. The 2 soups we ordered were only warm. The salad contained large strips of streaky bacon which was very fatty and tricky to cut as it was served in a small bowl. Unfortunately I don't feel it represented good value.

Lovely lunch, friendly and accommodating waitress. Great food although slightly cold flatbread and good atmosphere, was able to have a lovely chat without having to shout over music.

Lovely atmosphere great service excellent food and a wide choice of food & beverages what more can you ask for, been meaning to try it for ages just glad we eventually did. We will be back.

Celebrated my wife's birthday here, it was a Thursday night and the place was buzzing. The whole experience was great from the food to the waiting staff. Would not hesitate to return.

A nice atmosphere and decor, lovely food (smallish portions) but overall quite expensive. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Would go back for a special occasion.

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The flat iron steak is a must. Staff and service were excellent. No complaints at all, highly recommended, will certainly be back.

Shared the rural platter between 4. It was delicious but then we couldn't finish our main course the portions were really generous and well presented. No room for a dessert :(

Fabulous afternoon tea Even though I forgot to ring ahead & specify our dietrey needs the team were obliging and happy to accommodate us Fabulous service...I will definitely be going there again Although it was a little noisy on the day due to the top floor being taken for a family event with +++children ...so maybe quieter through the week to drink my Prosecco! Food seems to have improved a lot since we were here about a year ago. Nice ambience in the upstairs part. Service was good and friendly.

Lovely attentive staff, especially the young lad who served us! All food and drinks came quick. Asked for a table upstairs through booking on app and got there and we're seated upstairs. Very happy. Carbonara didn't have much garlic in and ribs didn't have a lot of meat on, only downfall.

Sunday lunch for sons' birthday - gammon was little salty for our taste, crispy roast potatoes not that crispy, roast beef & yorkshires excellent. Service as good as ever

Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff and beautiful food. Halloween specials were very well thought out. I had devilled prawns and bloody venison burger and it was all perfect!

This is a lovely pub\ bistro the staff are friendly, courteous. The food was lovely and well presented. I would definitely eat there again. Well worth a visit
