Chime - Hartford

with 2 teenage daughters its hard to find to a restaurant they both like. They were spoilt for choice. Restaurant menu has something for everyone.

Had a very enjoyable evening at Chime. Lots of choice on the menu, portion sizes were quite large so think twice before ordering a starter and main course. Food and drink (wine) reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and attentive and the the place had a great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We enjoyed the meal service was great. Would recommend the restaurant. The food was great and the cocktails are delicious. Definitely will book again soon

Great food and service as always, staff are extremely friendly and helpful, we did have a slight delay on dessert but on the whole really good

The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant is lovely, and the wine and beers offered were enjoyable. The menu sounded incredible but didn't quite live up to expectations. The pulled meat platter was not warmed through and had some underwhelming marinades. The pizza and risotto mains were nice enough but not anything to shout about. Service was 10/10, very friendly and attentive. Overall I would recommend to others.

Great food and service atmosphere great although quite hard2 talk and hear as was very busy noise level quite high would defo recommend still great place.

Beautiful food as always had the French Trimmed Chicken and my husband had the burger. The service was friendly and welcoming, we will definitely be visiting again soon.

Food & atmosphere was good bit the food took about an hour to arrive. This somewhat took the edge off the evening. I would try it again to see if the service has improved.

We were upstairs on this visit and it was much quieter. Superb 3 courses with a few pints! Still full up the next day! Terrific.

enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, but we were in a bit of a rush and the time we left had to wait for the bill and to pay.

Excellent service and good sized, portions. We would recommend that to have room for the pudding platter only have a starter, or light first course.

It was ok, not as good as usual! Pizza didn't have enough hoy sin , salt and pepper wings seemed different, but not as nice!

Attentive, happy stafff ,nothing too much trouble, the food was excellent and had a lovely evening would go again........ this form makes fill you in too many words before it will post needs to be shorter very fustrating

Great atmosphere as always! Server wasn't really sure about what meals she brought which was odd but apart from that it was grand! Not our first visit and won't be the last.

Didn't live up to expectations, manager did what he could when one course went wrong but overall not worth it unfortunately. Expensive drinks and food menu which I thought would be backed up with quality.

The same as always when we went to Chime for a meal last week. The food was excellent the staff very helpful and friendly and we left having a superb time.

Excellent food and service. We had the set Sunday Roast Lunch which was well presented and beautifully cooked. The Cheshire Farm ice cream dessert was superb.

Have eaten here many times , but a little disappointed . Menu not as good as last time visited. Although staff were happy and attentive service was slow due to the volume of customers .

The gentleman who was our waiter was very friendly, made us feel at ease, had two young children with us and he was chatting and joking with them. Food was lovely. Overall great time.

Great meal for 2, booked last minute, so much so the waitress hadn't even seen the booking yet, but as soon as we arrived we were greater like friends and shown to a table, yet another lovely meal at Chime, would highly recommend!

Had an enjoyable evening for my husbands birthday and it was busy considering it was a Thursday night. Lots of choice on the menu. There were a couple of things amiss, my husbands ribs had no sauce on them so had not been cooked with the marinade as you would assume so they took them away and poured some bbq sauce over them! My potato rosti was overcooked and hard to eat. The rest of the meal was lovely and the service and staff were friendly as always.

Breakfast had to go back. Was removed from the bill. Have to say last couple of visits hasn't impressed. Young lady came for us to pay and we were not even ready to leave. Shame as a really nice place

Every time we go to chime the food and the staff are amazing. I would highly recommend this place it's our go to restaurant when friends and family visit!

Delicious food as always! A lovely relaxed atmosphere too. Really enjoyed sampling the newest menu tonight, it certainly didnt disappoint. We will be back again soon.

Fantastic meal and really great staff. The food was spot on and couldn't have asked for anything more. They even made a cocktail we asked for that wasn't on the menu. Spot on.

Chime is one of those restaurants that does exactly what it says it will... provides excellent service, delicious food and the cocktails are divine. They always strive to keep the customers returning by updating the menu regularly. Of course they always keep some old favourites but the selection of dishes on offer make it hard to choose and often it can be a test of wills not to order more than one. The cocktails themselves are enough to get myself and my partner returning; a personal favourite is the Elderflower Bellini. You won't be disappointed. A definite plus point is their willingness to adhere to any requests regarding dishes and customer requests.

Food service and atmosphere really nice. Staff very helpful and polite. Only complaint was kids meals are not very child-like but my daughter is fussy,haha. Would definitely go back!

The food and the service were excellent and the staff were very attentive, however the chairs a little uncomfortable as we were sitting for about 2 hours

Lovely food, great atmosphere, staff really understanding when my friend was over 30 minutes late! Menu really good, lots of choice, and gorgeous desserts- lime posset was delicious! Service was timely, not rushed and staff were attentive , very pleasant and helpful. Only there for lunch but will definitely go again for dinner. Super!

Great atmosphere, lovely food and awesome service. Can't fault the place. It's no surprise that the restaurant is always fully booked. An absolute credit to the town and village.

Sticky ribs that were not sticky but tasteless, and main course that was luke warm. Service also a bit slow but not fully booked. Overall would not go back.

Great atmosphere and prompt service. We had the Seabass and Steak burger, with side of garlic bread, the food was very tasty. Would recommend and definitely visit again.

Friendly staff and warm service in very congenial surroundings - food fine except they'd run out of fries, and I don't think the chunky chips cut the mustard. But we all enjoyed our meals

Very busy, very noisey and the food was ok nothing special. Would I go again? Yes I would, would I recommend it? I don't think so.

This place is amazing! Visited a number of times now, the food, cocktails and staff have been fantastic every time. I would defiantly recommend. Book a table to avoid them not being able to cater to you as it is always in high demand.

Chime is a lovely restaurant with good food and it had a great atmosphere on a Saturday evening. I would definitely recommend for food or even just drinks.
