Excellent restaurant, beautiful food with lots of choice on the menu. Brilliant staff very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

Good food, good friendly pleasant service and a good ambience in cosy surroundings. We will be returning at a later date to repeat the experience.

Very busy as Saturday evening. Manager apologised that they were down a member of staff. However, this did not impact on the service. Food came quickly, hot and tasty.

We were told we had to be off the table by 9pm. Which is a bit odd, considering we had booked. But the food was stunning, very enjoyable.

Attentive service,as always, considering it was a packed restaurant. All the guests in our group enjoyed their food & cocktails were amazing even the non-alcoholic versions! Highly recommend.

Good menu selection, nice food, good beer, including ales. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is stylish and clean. I would recommend to others.

The food was excellent, very tasty and nicely presented. The price was very good for this quality. The ambience of the room was very nice as we were seated upstairs; on a previous occasion we were downstairs where the other diners were young with loud voices and the walls have little sound-deadening. Unless you want the youthful, lively atmosphere always ask to go upstairs. The service was very friendly but slow. Just a main course and dessert took almost two hours. Great if you are out in a group with lots to talk about but on this occasion it was just my wife and myself. This is the reson for not giving 6 out of 6.

Great atmosphere, good selection of food. Three of us shared a Camembert and a Bruschetta starter - plenty for 3 of us and very enjoyable. For mains, we had Fish & Chips, Crispy Chilli Duck & Noodles, and Salt & Pepper rump. We all enjoyed our meals. Service was ok, but slightly hit & miss. Overall great food and will definitely return!

Lovely set up. A couple of our party were late and we advised as soon as we arrived. We were advised that it was okay but we only had the table for 2 hours. Turned out not to be a problem. We had a couple of the sharing boards to start and boy are these huge, could probably feed three. We then had a variety of mains steak, noodles, fish and chips and tuna nicoise salad. We were all very happy with our meals and no issues with the food. The service was prompt and attentive throughout. Would certainly go again.

Went for a quick lunchtime meal which was served very quickly & was very tasty.really like the lunch menu, lots to choose from.will definitely visit again.

Unfortunately the welcome was not as warm as previous visits- waitress was quite impatient. Food was not as good as normal- pizzas were undercooked and minute steak was very tough. A shame as I'd brought family I was hoping to impress!

Lovely restaurant, great food, great service, just sat next to some rather loud parties... Would definitely return, we couldn't choose from such a good menu!

Every time we have visited, we have experienced excellent friendly service and really lovely food. We would recommend Chime but you will need to book.

Fantastic food. Awesome atmosphere this is our favourite restaurant to go to now. Cocktails come highly recommended. Live music is a new added bonus at chime.

Nice food and lots of it. Plenty of choice. Disappointed with liqueur coffees they were served cold. The service was good and the staff were nice and friendly. Small mistake on bill but quickly rectified.

Overall a pleasant experience but after being seated we had to wait 20 minutes to be asked for our drinks order! We felt totally ignored. Once service commenced it was efficient. The food was good and the staff very pleasant. We will return!!

Very expensive breakfast at £12 per head.. apparently it included unlimited tea and coffee however we were only offered 1 drink. When asked if we could have some toast, they apparently weren't doing toast. If you ask me 1 sausage, 1 bacon, 1 mushroom, tomato, 1 hash brown and a small spoonful of beans and scrambled egg is extremely expensive for £12. Will not be visiting again, very disappointed!

I met with two clients for a business lunch. The service was good, the staff were friendly and the food was nice. I would have preferred to see a Pinot Grigio on the wine list but you can't have it all.

Great to have a lovely place to eat right here in Hartford. Only comment for feedback purposes would be that the menu could do with being supplemented by a specials board as the menu is quite short and does not appear to be changed regularly- but that didn't spoil our evening, and the service and food were both excellent

A friendly independent restaurant offering good vegetarian and vegan options. The staff are also super helpful, the atmosphere is good, and the prices are reasonable - what more can you want.

Good food in a good atmosphere. The menu had a good choice and the quality as great. No trouble to change slightly alter a dish. I will be going back.

Lovely food we ate from the set menu, staff were very helpful and attentive. Would definitely recommend eating here or even just for a few drinks, booking is essential though.

Pleasantly surprised, good food, large tables and excellent service. The only downside was it got a bit warm upstairs towards the end of the meal.

with 2 teenage daughters its hard to find to a restaurant they both like. They were spoilt for choice. Restaurant menu has something for everyone.
