Really good service and lovely food! Great variety of mains and starters!

Lovely food and cocktails. Staff were efficient. Slightly too noisy at times. Best to eat upstairs as downstairs gets very crowded. Would definitely recommend. Hoping to try the afternoon tea next

Food and drinks were lovely - the service was frantic! It was a busy Saturday but still the venue should not over book to accommodate numbers.

Great atmosphere and food. It was our first visit to Chime and it certainly won’t be our last. The food and wine were really excellent

Lovely food and great service. Very relaxed setting and nice and quiet. Definitely going to visit again. The bakewell cheesecake was absolutely fantastic and worth a visit on its own.

I had the salmon and prawn Gniocci, which was lovely and the staff were very friendly. This was my second time at Chime and I will definitely be returning again.

Had our first experience at Chime tonight after a friend recommended,wasn’t disappointed. Food and atmosphere were great and staff attentive but not in your face. Lovely and will return soon.

Fabulous food and service throughout the evening. We would happily return in the not too distant future . Excellent value for money and thoroughly enjoyable

Very cramped dining space, more tables been put in since we were last there. Waitresses had to weave in and out. Food and service good, just think there are too many tables in the area, spoils it.

Very disappointed with the level /quality of service. We were shown to a table (quite cramped against other tables, so we had to keep moving to allow staff /customers to get passed) and then left with the menus for a fair while;- we were not asked if we would like a drink until our full order was taken

I’ve been before and it was better, but this visit wasn’t great. Food was average, service very slow (it was busy). They did offer a free dessert, due to poor main course, but they did not live up to their reputation on this occasion.

We are regular visitors and love it every time :) we were given the wrong starter (chipolatas when we had asked for honey roasted chorizo) but it was nice anyway.

Lovely, happy, helpful staff and yummy food, as always - this is why we return to Chime, lovely atmosphere and great meals, especially the desserts!

Really nice and friendly atmosphere, we were made to feel really welcome and the food was beautiful. Finished the evening with a taste cocktail. We will definitely be returning.

This evening I have had one of the most delicious beetroot and red wine risotto served with cod fillet that I have ever eaten amazing. so glad we have this great place in Hartford.

Great restaurant and service and food arrived quickly. Had goats cheese flatbread and it was excellent. Modern building and upstairs is really spacious. Very comfy atmosphere

Very friendly staff, wonderful food and very accommodating, as I was so late for my meal. They kept all the meals hot until I arrived even tho' it was past food 'last orders'

Lovely food, excellent vibe about the place, food came piping hot and didn't have to wait long. The chips were the best I have had in years! All four of us enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

Modern. Very good food, cooked specifically to choice, could have been hotter. Excellent Rioja at the right temperature. Should have had fries with the main as a I was hungry not just spending time with friends. Attentive service; positive interactions.

Drinks order was very slow to come and not a lot of heathy salad options. But the food that did come was incredible and very tasty, great idea for the kids with the pizza.

Great atmosphere, food and service.....my only negative comment would be that the lunch menu is slightly too heavily biased towards pizza and flatbreads and certainly in December a broader offering would be a winner.

We were seated upstairs - much nicer environment for eating - lovely furnishings, cosy atmosphere and warm. Food was lovely, tasty and staff very friendly. If being picky, the staff could have asked if we wanted more drinks, missed opportunity there. Will definitely return.

Style over substance at Chime which is decorated lovely but you'll need to be prepared to wait a good while for ok food (although the fries on both dishes were cold & limp) and we had expected much better. Maybe they weren't aware Xmas is around the corner and they may get busy ish. We arrived on time we pointed in the direction of a table and 15+ minutes later got the drinks we'd ordered 5+ mins after arriving. Underwhelming. Nice for a coffee or glass of something if you've hours to kill but otherwise go elsewhere.

Excellent food, friendly and helpful staff and a comfortable ambience. We'll definitely be going again. No need to say any more even to reach the minimum 25 words!!

Delicious food, as usual. The tiramisu was the first I've had in a very long time that wasn't disappointing! We always enjoy our meals at Chime.

Atmosphere, staff and service was excellent, that would be a '5' unfortunately, the 'special' turkey Christmas dinner the turkey was just a little too salty for my taste, and that's the only reason for given them a '4' but all in all a great evening.,

Excellent visit,staff really friendly and helpful.We have a guest that's vegetarian and she was so pleased with the choice.We had a roast beef dinner and I can honestly say it was in my top five best roast dinners I've had and that includes my own.Congratulations to all your staff and chefs.

Good atmosphere, as always. Food good, but could be better. Staff helpful, but not as helpful and friendly as they used to be. A nice place for cocktails and to get together with friends, but sadly I believe standards have dropped of late.

Very much enjoyed a lovely lunch on Wednesday with my son and daughter in law, visiting from Yorkshire. Warm, welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. It great experience.

Wonderful Sunday lunch. The Char Sui belly pork starter was exquisite. The beef Sunday dinner was as good as we’ve had in along while. Pleasant atmosphere and a great place to eat with friends.

Once again i enjoyed a lovely lazy lunch with friends on a Friday afternoon. Good service and not rushed. Good choice of food on the menu too.
