Chime - Hartford

Staff were v friendly and informative, however ran out of 2 options on the set menu which I wanted! We were told they had ‘ran out’ this is not acceptable when we had pre booked and I had seen the desert I wanted on social media but not available...v disappointing. Also toppings on pizza and flatbread were v poor for what we paid. Sorry chime but you need to do better!

Lovely food and atmosphere. Service a bit slow, but that’s to be expected on a busy Easter Sunday. Still one of our favourite places to eat

We went for Sunday dinner and everything was great! And the food was absolutely lovely, there was lots of meat. Nothing was too much trouble for the girls.

Recommended to us by our local B & B host . Lovely staff especially the young waiter who had just started that evening. The menu was perfect for us and food did not disappoint. If you are thinking of going here, don't hesitate !

Food was nice but menu was very basic and not particularly exciting. We also asked for vodka red bulls but they don't do red bull.

Slow service, waited 55mins for a pizza. Burger served on a plank of wood which didn’t fit the food so kept falling onto the table not very nice

Yet another lovely meal, great service and atmosphere was good too. Sunday roasts went down a treat, Children were able to build their own pizza and nice vegan options.

As always great service and atmosphere, interesting menu and attentive , friendly, happy staff. The staff are very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks available and are happy to advise as required.

Table booked and was ready as soon as we got there. Lovely food and great service . Will definitely be going back for another visit.

Great atmosphere, beautiful decor, happy chatty staff. We love the pizzas and Chime’s Sunday roast is the best hangover cure! We visit here whenever we can.

The food was good but got one of the orders wrong. We were upstairs - no atmosphere. Downstairs was much more lively. It might just have been when we booked - giving the benefit of the doubt! Would try again!

Excellent food - roast dinner was fantastic and nice change to see roast ham on a Sunday menu! Crumble was really tasty albeit a bit luke warm, but think that was a one-off. Lovely atmosphere too.

Excellent food nice ambience and very friendly staff. Waiting till me was good and the location is ideal in the village And within walking distance.

Food and drinks good as usual new menu and plenty of choice but just a little to crammed in and noisy to enjoy it fully.

Back for lunch this time and a great welcome on a cold day. The chilli beef soon warmed us up! Great food and caring service from our local favourite.

Yes very enjoyable, the second time we have been there and would recommend it to anyone. We shared the vegetarian pizza with salad, very good. A bottle of Pinotage was full bodied with plenty of taste. Young waitress from Kidderminster, was very personable and attentive...........we are already looking forward to our next visit.

We have been to The Chime in Hartford a few times, we are never disappointed.The staff are very friendly nothing is too much trouble for them, the food is delicious always hot which is one of my pet hates warm food.We can’t recomend this enough

Fantastic afternoon tea at chimes. Great friendly service and yummy food! The sandwiches and scones were so good! And even got to take some of the cakes home we couldn’t manage. 10/10!

Really good service, lovely wine, delicious dessert, but the goats cheese main course used to be delicious but they now skimp on the salad ingredients and it feels cheap. One baby tomato and a load of lettuce with the cheese! Poor show.

Wasn’t as good as usual - pizza was oily and soggy - waitress did take 50% off but would have preferred a nice pizza!

Always brilliant food and service. We went for Piri Piri chicken salad and it was very nice. Good choices great desserts and very tasty. Excellent!

Another lovely lunch at Chime, nice atmosphere as it was very busy for a lunchtime and although there was a large party in at the same time the service was still very good.

Our food was excellent. The whole experience was excellent. We will definitely be visiting again and we would definitely recommend. Really annoyed that we can’t remember our waitress’s name as she was so fantastic I was going to email you to commend her even if we hadn’t received this survey. We sat upstairs for afternoon tea for 3 at 2pm - she was very slim with long dark hair. She is a real asset to your business! 🤗🤗🤗🎈🎈

The food could have been hotter and the service quicker! The staff that were on duty were really pleasant but think they needed more staff to improve service. Our table was directly in line of the door and on a cold day is not ideal as you get an icy blast each time door opens to allow customers in or out! Therefore the seating upstairs might be the preferred option.

Brilliant food, great options to choose from, including a few vegetarian dishes. Lovely atmosphere as soon as you walk in, and fab service given from all the staff. Will definitely come again!

Food was lovely but service was not. Had to chase a drink order 3 times and each time the menber of staff never came back with an update. When it finally arrived we were told it was because the kitchen was busy?
