I've visited this restaurant a few times now, each time as good as the last, the food is delicious as is the wine list, the staff professional and attentive, I can't wait to return.

good food, well presented, prices are reasonable for style of restaurant nice atmosphere service polite available but not pushing. staff sort out feed back. Will visit again.

Gorgeous food that was made using quality ingredients. Cooked to perfection! I had the goats 'cheesecake' with beetroot and walnut followed by the sirloin steak then to finish a lighter than air Eton mess. Attentive staff but not overly pushy and who discreetly asked the 'is everything ok' question rather than wait until you've just put something in your mouth. Whilst the menu isn't huge there's clearly thought and effort put into what's available. Would definitely return!

Menu offered a number of choices that resulted in the great tasting food that was served. Comfortable environment for eating matched by the choices of wine.

Not the first time at Chadwicks but once again a wonderful experience. The staff both in the bar and restaurant were attentive but never pushy, the food on both menus was exceptional.

The service was good. Although the forgot to give me a steak knife which i then had to ask for. I emailed the restaurant to ask if they did gluten free several weeks before booking the table as i have celiac disease they responded with yes. Most of our menu is gf or can be made gf. This was not the case and my selection was therefore very limited

The food was beautiful if a little pricey We didn't receive any complimentary bread etc like some reviews state they did The restaurant could do with air conditioning or a fan or just windows that could be open, unfortunately it was sooo hot we couldn't stay for dessert

We were the only ones in the restaurant was great having it all to ourselves. Excellent service, the food was great, had steak and chips cooked perfectly, very attentive, would highly recommend.

I decided to bring a new partner who was visiting the area for Sunday Lunch, primarily because I used to come the 'Pathfinders ' 40 years ago when it was a village pub! Today we had a superb Sunday lunch with great service! Highly recommend!

Not value for money,food cooked and served ok although some staff members could have been cheerful!Everthing about it was ordinary,apart from the price £ 65.00 for 'chateaubriand' for two hacked into 4 chunks at the table not good!Will not return.

Great atmosphere and food at a good price for the quality of the meal. The starters and appetisers were delicious and did not fill you up too much. The main course was equally good and left no room for a dessert or cheese

Reservation worked well, service overall was a little slow but the food, it was their salt matured sirloin steak night was good. We took the bottle of wine that comes with the meal home so we were not drinking and driving.

Absolutely love this restaurant, came for our 2 year anniversary. Delicious food, lovely staff and a high class experience. Although the apple pudding wasnt on the menu we were gutted! Overall, lovely.

This restaurant is a lovely place to have a meal ,the food is excellent ,and the staff are very pleasant and helpful ,we have been on an evening quite a few times and it has been perfect ,so we thought we would try Sunday lunch and it was just as good.

Tapas afternoon was quite good but overpriced Could have done with a few more choices of dishes Overall was ok would try it again sometime

Celebrated our friends 50th birthday at Chadwicks last night. Cannot fault it. Excellent service, food, and relaxed atmosphere. Staff are very professional and friendly. Food very well presented and super tasty.

First visit for my partners birthday and we weren't disappointed. Outstanding from start to finish we can't wait to go back I had the steak well done and I have to send it back in most restaurants.. here I didn't was cooked perfectly and tasted so good.

As ever, Lovely food, good service. The early bistro menu is limited but always reliable. One of our favourite places for a Friday night meal.

Good food and attentive service. Did not feel rushed but did not have to ask. They obliged with modifications to the menu. A great experience.

Not bad but not as good as we had hoped. At £38 per head for 4 starters, 4 mains and 6 drinks it doesn't match up to other experiences. Eating in the bar area would have been improved by not having music blaring out. There was already plenty of noise from customers in the bar. The food was good but not interesting - £24 for steak and chips promises a lot but didn't really deliver. Service friendly but inexperienced - I found it surprising to have all the cutlery from my fellow diners thrown on to my plate whilst it was still in front of me, sending bits of debris into my lap, for example.

Excellent service, welcoming even of our toddler and great with allergies/intolerances. Warm atmosphere, great food. Will be back. Very Hugh quality presentation, especially starters which looked beautiful.

Steak night was excellent, well worth the £40 steak was one of the best i have had and pepper sauce and onion rings where also perfect 10/10 from me and my wife

We went to Chadwicks for a business lunch appointment. The food, service and dining area was very good. My fellow diners particularly raved about their perfect fish & chips.

I took my 82 year old mother to Chadwick's for a treat, the old Pathfinders Pub having been an old favourite of mine many years ago. I had read the reviews and my expectations were high but I was definitely not disappointed. We had different starters: - my mother had a prawn cocktail and I had a hot smoked salmon salad and both were delicious. We had the same main course: - roast beef with Yorkshire Pudding etc. My mother said that she had never tasted such beautiful beef in her life, and I had to agree with her. The vegetables were delicious with baby carrots that tasted so sweet that they didn't compare to any others I had tasted, perfectly cooked al dente broccoli and cauliflower with a sauce. The potatoes and gravy were perfect. My dessert was something to behold and heavenly to taste: a lemon posset with white chocolate and meringue. The best dessert I have tasted in my 57 years! Well done Chadwick's - we'll be back!

Michelen guide? mmm. No table cloths, paper napkins, dirty glass, unpolished cutlery, dont think so. Peppercorn sauce had no peppercorns in, was basically gravy with bit of cream in. Would I recommend!! NO. No feedback regarding sauce. Given wine list but nobody came for order, had to ask. Asked for iced water, 10 minutes later had to ask again. Scallops over cooked.

Service was quite slow, we had to wait a long time for our food however it was worth the wait, have booked a table again already. I would recommend Chadwicks if your looking for quality food.

The service and food at Chadwick was outstanding. This is only the second time I have been and it's not going to be last. I want to try the Sunday lunch as I ha e heard good comments.
