Excellent food. Dessert was outstanding. Not cheap but you get quality for it. Staff friendly and helpful. A great little place so close to Teesside. Sat under bright downlighters doesn't set an ambience.. maybe turn the lighting down?? Other than that.. very happy.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, helpful staff and great meal. Nothing to complain about at all. Seated promptly and enjoyed the quiet corner we were allocated. Thanks

Staff very pleasant had to wait for 35 mins from being seated at our table to being served we both chose fish and chips fish very good one batter very crisp one not so Would certainty go again good menu other food looked really good

First time visit to Chadwick and really looking forward to it. Dunes on a Wednesday for the steak and wine night. Excellent service on arrival, busy restaurant but slowly clearing as we are seated. Prompt drinks service but unfortunately let down by a 40 minute wait for two steaks. No explanation or apologies for this, feel it is unacceptable just for two steaks. Will probably not return in a hurry.

Amazing food and service as always. Easily my favourite place to eat, we have never disappointed. We had amazing stakes as part of the stake night and wine for two for £50 Great value for money.

Previous visits have been great and this one did not disappoint. The food (we both had the set menu) was excellent as was the service.

Food was excellent as well as the service. However, felt very rushed. Asked for 10-15 mins after finishing main meal and dessert arrived a few minutes later. Not ideal when paying these prices. Couldn’t fault the food at all and will return but please give people time between courses!

The food was excellent although one of our first choices was not available. The staff were warm and friendly and very efficient. The ambiance was really good until some very noisy children arrived. We would strongly recommend a visit to this hidden gem

Superb steak and best ever pepper sauce. Nice to relax with pre- meal drink in bar area seated in comfy chairs. Good selection of wines to choose from.

My wife and I came for a Friday evening treat. My wife had previously been for a work Christmas party and have a rave review to me. We were made to feel welcome and special by all the staff. Excellent cocktail list whilst we perused the menu in front of a roaring fire on a very cold and snowy evening. Pre diner nibbles and starters were excellent. The crab tart I had was beautifully presented and very fresh crab meat. My wife’s soup was equally good. Unfortunately my wife suffered a migraine during the evening and we were unable to complete our meal. The staff seemed genuinely concerned at my wife’s distress and could not have been nicer. I can only apologise for having to leave and promise to be back very soon. The local villagers are extremely lucky to have such an excellent establishment

The food was really nice albeit rather lukewarm on arrival. Waiting staff were all friendly. Nice atmosphere. Rather pricey but I think thats to be expected. Over all happy with my trip here.

We had an azing food and amazing service! Would definitely reccomend to others. We had a wonderful lunch, and we will definitely be returning very soon!

Best place in the area by a mile, fantastic food, outstanding wine, great setting, and the staff are impeccable, as well as being very knowledgable about the menu and wine

When we arrived I was very disappointed with the menu as I don't eat fish game or beef. There was no white meat on the menu. I asked for the veggie menu but they said they could cook me some chicken , which was very good of them and just had the starter off the veggie menu as the starters where mainly fish based.

Food was good as always but the service was slow People who arrived well after us where served well before we were although it didn’t seem as busy as normal

Fantastic food. Great service. Relaxed but classy atmosphere. A good range of draught and bottled beers and a varied wine list. Well worth a visit for that special occasion.

The food fantastic but the service could have been better. No Tio Pepe and thought sweet Harveys would do. Will go back but hope they will improve their service.

This was our first visit here and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant had a lovely comfortable feel with a lovely atmosphere. We were a party of 6 and were very lucky to be allocated the round table which was fabulous. The staff were pleasant and attentive and the food was out of this world. It is slightly on the pricey side, especially the drinks, but the food is worth every penny. It's some of the best food I have ever tasted. We will definitely go back again.

Amazing food. Great service from the staff. Highly recommend and will defiantly be visiting again! The roast beef dinner was amazing and the deserts were fantastic also

We have been several times and once again we found the food delicious. The presentation was excellent as was the service. We had the set dinner menu which is excellent value. We will be returning.

Really good taste and the beef cheek is soft and portion is great. Only vegi is a bit less for me tho, everything is good!!

Could have been warmer. Radiator hardly warm and went off at 1.30. Food was well presented and extremely tasty. Good selection of wine by the glass

We visited Chadwicks Inn at Maltby for the sixth time this December (2017) and were treated to a Steak Special comprising of 2 succulent sirloins with a sauce (both perfectly cooked medium rare) and a bottle of fine wine for £50. Great food, great service, great ambience. Chadwicks Inn remains one of our preferred dining venues in the area.

Service today was quite slow in comparison to previous visits and not nearly as full in the restaurant. However, as always the food was brilliant!

Excellent food with great service and lovely ambiance. Steak night Wednesday is a must and is accompanied by a very good red or white wine. No half measures here.

Extremely good food with sophisticated flavours. A clear and interesting wine list and very attentive service adds up to a restaurant very well worth visiting.

The soup and salad for starters were beautiful. Followed by a traditional yet delicious main. Service was good, and the restaurant was quiet enough to enjoy a relaxing meal. Will be visiting again!

Everything was perfect just as it always is at Chadwick's. Its our favourite restaurant in the area, the service and food are always first class.

Professional, friendly staff. Good varied menu. Restaurant has a good atmosphere. There was 4 of us and we were welcomed and the restaurant accommodated my dietary requirements very well and were very knowledgeable. Good experience worth a visit.

We visited here on Christmas Eve for a meal and the food was 10 out of 10! Thank you and we will see you soon!

The food was very good. However the restaurant was too cold and the main course came very slowly - both of these aspects spoiled it somewhat. It also wasn’t that busy plus we ordered from the set menu so slow service should not have been an issue. I felt it didn’t live up to its reputation.

Chadwicks Inn Maltby overall was a lovely place to dine, the staff were polite & friendly. However the limited choice on the menu did make us question if we should stay, or find somewhere different to eat. Perhaps naivety on our part but I didn't check the menu choice before hand. We ended up trying something new, out of our comfort zone but this wouldn't have us rushing back for more!

Excellent food, staff were lovely and helpful however seemed a little stressed, we asked for water several times before it was given and unfortunately the bill was wrong and we were over charged for drinks and sides we did not order, however staff were brilliant and rectified the issue when queried. I would still go back as it’s almost just that time of year!

A lovely welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was beautiful, wide selection of choice for every taste. We are already planning our next visit.

The set Christmas meal was excellent, each course was well cooked, the vegetables especially, service was great and this remains my favourite eatery in Teesside

Can't fault it at all, easy parking, good service, good quality food and open on a Monday in December, much easier than trying to get into Yarm or Middlesbrough.

A top class restaurant right on our doorstep ! We went for a 2 o'clock lunch. Fantastic food and service. Highly recommended. We will most definitely be back.
