Splendiferous, spiff, diddly iff - fantastic food and service as always, waiting staff always go above and beyond in this place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Overall experience excellent as always. We had Sunday lunch on this occasion; pleasant informal atmosphere with excellent food served by friendly but efficient waiting staff. Not the cheapest place around, but well worth the extra for an enhanced experience and food quality to the next level. We have always have a pleasurable experience here and are sure to come again.

Food was absolutely beautiful, we go here a few times a year usually when we fancy a steak as the chateaubriand is lovely as is all the food we have eaten here. Also the stuff are very welcoming and can’t do enough for you Will be back again shortly thanks Carl and Amy

We have eaten frequently and is still One of the best places to eat if not the best in the area given there are a number of excellent restaurants within a few miles Excellent choice on the menu which is cooked and presented perfectly Friendly and professional staff

Love the traditional ‘pub’ feel of the restaurant. Bar area is warm and welcoming for a drink before meal. Food was excellent as always, good choice, fresh local ingredients cooked well. Friendly efficient service.

Excellent service. Food was interesting and well presented. This was a birthday celebration and nothing was any trouble for any of the staff. Will certainly return.

The food was excellent and the staff were very attentive without being intrusive. A great place for a relaxing lunch or dinner. Would highly recommend.

The pub was lovely, as always. The quality of the food was very high, but the range of options was very limited, especially on the vegetarian menu, which offers very basic choices.

Great Sunday Roast and great atmosphere, extra gravy is always a must when it tastes as good as that - we will definitely be back.

We visited for Sunday Lunch and it was absolutely fantastic. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and the restaurant itself is very comfortable with a lovely atmosphere. Menu choices were great and also catered for children. Food was absolutely delicious - second to none. We will definitely be coming back.

Excellent Sunday lunch. We all had starters, ham hock terrine is gorgeous. The mains were 2 roast beef one pork and one lamb. All were lovely

Great evening spent with friends. Great choice on 3 different menus with the option to choose separately off all three. Food was lovely and deceivingly filling when it looks like a small serving, we are a hungry bunch! One downside being that when dining at the restaurant on previous occasions I have been served complimentary bread of different flavours prior to the starter, we weren’t offered this so paid extra for 3 servings to share.

On arrival met and shown to a seat for drinks as our table was not ready we were early .then our orders were taken we were shown to our table and soon after starters were served excellent soup next lunch came again served beautifully and was the best sunday lunch ever the deserts were excellent as well overall we had a great experience and will definitely be returning

Chadwicks is just 10 minutes from Preston Farm Business Park and we went out for a business lunch. The food was genuinely world class and service was excellent. Having eaten pretty much everywhere, for me this is the best restuarant in the Tees Valley.

Finest quality food in a lovely atmosphere. Every course we had was delicious & beautifully presented. Would choose every one of them again! Set menu is a great option if you're on a small budget. One of us chose that option simply because the black pudding scotch egg sounded delicious - and it was! Will definitely go again!

Pub and food is wonderful , service excellent and the food is amazing . I had the crab tart which was fantastic Will definitely come again.

Enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch. Quantity and quality were both very good. Service was quite slow despite there being plenty of waiting staff, but will certainly go back.

Food marvellous, really well cooked. Service and ambience good. This is the best restaurant around now that the tontine has been sold to a chain.

Superb food and excellent service. Probably the best meat in this area, however the vegetables which comprise mainly cauliflower and broccoli could be improved. Desserts were nice but not clearly described on the menu.

The service is professional and the food never fails to please. Accompanied by an interesting wine list this leads to a most enjoyable experience. I prefer the format of small portion size with exciting flavours which Chadwick's Inn achieves every time.

Lovely warm and cosy restaurant. Good food. Only downside was when they brought the pork dinner out they'd ran out of apple sauce. Disappointing really.

Although at first glance the menu seems expensive, the "classics" section is good value, as is the set dinner. As always, the food was lovely. Highly recommended.

Waited a little longer than I might have expected for main course, sadly mine was not hot and had to be returned, after that service and was excellent as was the represented food for which I was not charged.

Had Aged beef cheek which was lovely, flavourful, moist and tender. Side order of chunky chips with mayo which were also very good. My friend had a vegetarian pie, which, to me looked dry. She didn’t comment on it but left quite a lot , so I’m thinking it perhaps was not so great. I don’t want to comment on something that I didn’t eat. All I can say, is, if you are not vegetarian it’s a great place to eat

Lovely atmosphere good service. Starter was good but fish for main was over cooked and tasteless. Have not been for a long time and won’t be back for a while.

The food was lovely and worth some of the money, however, the service was not. At the bar we ordered our food “no starter for you as well sir?” was the comment that came. Neither of us had starters, we were sat down next to a rowdy bunch of approx 10 lads on a Christmas night out and also sat next to another noisy table of 4/5 also on a Christmas night out as they had both ordered from the Christmas menu. Myself and my wife waited for over 30mins for our mains......is this because we did not order starters I wonder....?? Either way it’s unacceptable and poor of the restaurant. I did not feel comfortable where I was sat as we were not on a Christmas night out and the restaurant should have seated us away from the “party” end of the restaurant if they had anything about them. Needless to say all the restaurant did around service was to go through the motions.....nothing special here. I asked for the bill after our mains as the noise in that area was unbearable and we could not chat between us. We were intent on spending more money, desserts and coffee, hence no starter....but did not because of the above. In all the food was good but the attitude to service and me and my wife was not taken into account. Not worth the £75 spent and a real disappointment. Be more aware of people’s individual situations Chadwicks and it will do you well in the future I’m sure. For me, I won’t be visiting again.

The food was excellent all of our party didn’t have a complaint about the food or the service.The only problem was the level of noise as we couldn’t hear ourselves speak due to the table next to us.

Great place, last minute booking with Luke, away on business and the 4 of us had the set menu, all cooked to perfection. Nice, modern, professional feel with warm welcome

Excellent food and service we had the chateaubriand it was perfect and scallops to start! staff are first class and very friendly a lovely cosy fire too .

Delicious meal, love the coffee and treats a very special alternative to dessert. There are a good choice of wines at a reasonable price. The menu has a good choice to suit all tastes, although the fish is was a little over cooked.

Went with my husband for lunch. As usual, the service was very good. All staff we encountered were personable and helpful. All meals, we had 3 courses each, were cooked and presented to an exceptional level. Well done. We will be back and would happily recommend to friends and family.

Went for lunch - the food was excellent and very tasty. The portions seemed small, but they filled you up without feeling bloated, so just right. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful food and excellent service. The halibut was easily the best I've ever tasted. Should have a Michelin Star in my opinion. Would recommend anyone to give it a try.

Food was excellent,best Sunday lunch in the area,,service was good and efficient,only one complaint being that the portion of beef was on the small side.Other than that very good.

Our first visit after a recommendation by a relative. Very well organised with a nice atmosphere. Sunday lunch was excellent. We both had the roast beef which comes quite pink but very tasty. All three course were enjoyed. Extensive wine menu including a very nice Malbec. Very busy place so be sure to book in advance.

Lovely 3 course meal, nice atmosphere. Enjoy a pre drink cocktail by the Log burning fire or a coffee after your meal. Will visit again

Food is always lovely and to a high standard. Would like more choice in a set dinner menu when out eating with a group of friends.

Excellent food and service. I thoroughly enjoyed my squid ink risotto starter and the venison was delicious. The coffee and treats is a nice alternative to dessert though one between is probably enough. First time I’ve been to Chadwick’s for a while but I’ll be back soon.

Good experience. Dishes were presented really nice. Loved the vegetarian risotto. Nice seating area and friendly service, looking forward to try the special events sometime.

lovely restaurant. Booking was easy. Excellent service and friendly atmosphere. Had Sunday lunch 2 courses, food was delicious 4 clean plates. All freshly cooked. Desserts were tasty too. Really good value. Will definitely be returning.
