It was a wet quiet Wednesday evening and Chelsea were playing Arsenal in the Europa final. We arrived at 8pm to be greeted by “Sorry no Lobster” which happened to be lobster evening. That apart everything else was very good

Beautiful decor, amazing drinks, perfectly priced deals. Went on lobster night, got a tasty burger and half a juicy, garlicky, buttery lobster with crispy fluffy chips for £20. Starters were really good. Great selection of food. Upper class food on a middle class budget!

First time visiting cattle & cocktail which was recommended by family. Staff were very welcoming and very friendly throughout. Food was lovely and the steak was the by far the best I’ve ever had! Great deals on as well, very good value for money especially for the amount of steak you get! Lovely evening thank you!

Food excellent. Staff miserable and not very accommodating-my son only wanted to change his cheese on his burger and this was refused- oh no we can’t do that! With the amount of money you pay you would have thought that a request so small wouldn’t be too much trouble. I was wrong!

Food was fabulous! Steak was cooked just how I like it and came out hot. Staff were extremely pleasant and cocktails 2 for £10 between 5 and 6pm. All in all a lovely experience, would definitely eat there again .

We were welcomed and seated by a lovely waiter who usually works on the bar, the manager went through the allergens when we told them that one of us is coeliac. Then the waitress approached us to take a drinks order, she was abrupt and rude when asked about ciders (not available) and cocktails. She continuously pulled strained faces when we asked questions and was no help at all. When we went to order our food she told us most of the steaks had sold out which we weren’t told when we were seated. The waitress unfortunately was the tipping point and we left to find somewhere else to eat. Such a shame as this was our wedding anniversary meal and we have raved about the restaurant before.

This was my first visit to Cattle and Cocktail although I have lived in Oxted for the past 8 years, I was so impressed, the food, service and atmosphere were all excellent, I will definitely be returning and recommending to all my friends! !

We have just returned from a lovely meal at Cattle and Cocktail. Service was impeccable and when we mentioned that we where going to th cinema they paced their service so we where away in time.
