Cattle & Cocktail

Great service and good quality food. Portion size really good. The lady that served us was a real pleasure, bubbly and friendly, attentive but not too "in your face". My only grumble is it does get very very noisy and at times difficult to hear my dinner guest - that said, if that's the only grumble then not a bad one!!! Would recommend Cattle and Cocktail!

Fabulous as always great staff lovely steak and wonderful atmosphere highly recommend it Would be nice to see some specials as we go there a lot!!

Staff very friendly. Reasonable priced for a steak restaurant. Had a couple of glasses of Prosecco and our pudding on the house as it was the wife’s birthday. Was a very nice gesture, one of our favourite local restaurants for a pleasant, relaxing evening. See you again soon!

Way too noisy - need to install sound dampers, was Friday night and service rather slow, Food over-priced for the area, tasted good, though. Nice staff.

We have been wanting to visit the Cattle and Cocktail for a number of weeks and it didn't disappoint. Lovely food, lovely cocktails, lovely atmosphere !

Very good... would recommend to any other meat lover! Also enjoyed the lobster which complimented the steak beautifully. Reasonably priced and will definitely re-visit with a view of trying a cocktail from the extensive menu.

Food and service was first class. Lovely evening. Have been many times. Great atmosphere and would recommend very much. Good parking nearby and nice area to visit.

The cattle and cocktail is a lovely place for a birthday lunch. The food was lovely and delicious cocktails (albeit drinks a bit expensive...but food very reasonably priced) Really friendly staff...attentive but not overpowering

Outrageous customer service, so disappointed. Started off lovely, we were freezing, to top it all the staff are so incredibly rude I could hardly believe what I was experiencing and had to pay for!!

The food and service were excellent. Everything was fresh, hot and tasted great, Staff were great and restaurant looks good too. Great value for money on the set lunch menu as well - 3 courses for less than £20.

It was good. Nice ambience and good service. Food nice for three out of four of us but the Duck was tough and therefore only half was eaten.

Overpriced and average food. Most chain restaurants have better or similar food but at half the price. Even with half price steak on a Tuesday you had to purchase an overpriced starter (£8 odd for 3 prawns). Will avoid this one from now on. Chips were delicious though.

Another lovely meal at Cattle and Cocktail. It was very busy but the staff served with a smile and the steak and lobster was perfect. Lets not forget the yummy cocktails - there are a few new ones on the menu too.

Lovely decor, all areas immaculately clean, service very good, relaxed atmosphere, ordered sirloin steaks , slightly to much fat for my liking but tasted very nice.

Excelent! Beautifully presented gourmet & delicious food and friendly and fast service. Nice atmosphere. Great quality of meat. The only problem being that the toilets are way too cold.

Excellent service from all the staff, Danielle in particular was very helpful with the day's special and was most attentive throughout the meal.. Varied menu with plenty to choose at mostly value prices. Nice, lively atmosphere.

Best meal in a long time. The 350g fillet steak was a real treat for my husbands birthday. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Service was exceptional and food was Devine. Had the bottomless prosecco deal and it’s not like other places where you had to keep calling them over.

Had a very nice meal here. The steak was lovely and as it was half price steak night, it was even better. I think they should include some sort of carb with the cost of the steak though as otherwise it does work out dear when you are not getting the offer.

Excellent service and food!! Staff are a great asset to the restaurant. My 92yr old father in law loved it, as did my 20 something daughters!! We look forward to another visit, as a family and separately.

We had a great night with friendly staff and amazing food, would definitely visit again, steak and lobster were cooked to perfection and risotto was brilliant.

Under staffed slow service although the food was good and the staff were polite helpful and apologetic for delay in service Good for a hen or stag night

Restaurant was very busy , with a great atmosphere . Unfortunately when first arrived wasnt as great welcoming as expected. Handed cocktail menus and had to fend for selfs at a very busy cocktail bar. No mention of when table would be ready or to find a space at the bar area. Had to wait 10 mins at bar before acknowledged for drinks and 25mins to me seated. On a positive note , food was great, cocktails where very good and enjoyed the buzzy atmosphere. Only down side was service was slow and in some areas lacked attentiveness . But restaurant was very busy and we were booked in for peak time on a Saturday night. Will come again on a less busy evening .

The staff rushed us the whole time we had our table. I dont feel as if 2 hours is enough time. The cocktails where great though.

Food is amazing, best steak I have had in a long time, cooked perfectly! Staff are lovely. It was friends birthday and they couldn't be more accommodating! Would recommend and definitely will be returning!
