Staff were brilliant, food and drinks were relatively well priced and the atmosphere was lovely, but the food was all really dry and bland 🙁
Cool location inside the Grand Arcade as it takes you off the noisy street away from hustle and bustle yet within the heart of the Northern Quarter. Really warm welcome as we entered. Pre-theatre menu basic but tasty. Loved the range of South American beers. No cocktails for us this time but we'll be back!
Lovely food and great service, waitress was very attentive and helpful. A varied menu for all tastes and budgets. Would highly recommend. Was very hot though - air conditioning would be beneficial
Great restaurant, friendly staff, food is amazing.we loved the cocktails and the vibe of the place. Upstairs they do salsa classes Not your typical restaurant well worth a visit.
We were very very disappointed with the food. very poor. My chilli con carni was very watery, no flavour and the meals were cold. very upset. We should have refused to pay but paid in full
Great choice of freshly cooked food, reminded me of our holiday to Costa Rica a few years ago. Went early so we could go to the theatre at 7pm and had plenty of time.
Such tasty food, the service was friendly and efficient , the atmosphere was welcoming. Will definitely be visiting again and recommending to friends. Good value for money.
Excellent meal, very friendly service and great value for money. Will certainly eat there again when in Leeds. The Mexican beer was also a new and pleasant experience.
Very nice, busy atmosphere and friendly, smiling staff. I was disappointed that the pre-theatre dinner offer was only available on Mondays to Fridays but I did get an apologetic email telling me this. The starters of veg croquettes and fried plantain wrapped round cheese were very tasty (five pieces in each one) and we shared the veggie nachos as a light main meal. We both loved our Mojito cocktails! I was a little disappointed with the coffee as we had heard so much about it. It was only filter coffee, though a nice strong blend, so I couldn't get a flat white, although they offered to make me an approximation of one! Overall, a nice, busy, buzzing place with a good atmosphere on a warm Saturday late afternoon.
Amazing!!! A bit of my colombian food in England. I was craving for bandeja paisa. So good!! Thanks Marta for yhe good service always!!! :)
What a fantastic place for eating, drinking and dancing. David and the staff were wonderful. Don't miss out on this gem within the heart of Leeds city centre.
A lovely restaurant, nice atmosphere, good food and friendly staff. We will be returning, probably during a weekend, it is supposed to be quite an experience upstairs.
Good traditional food and good service - enjoyed the mixto platter trying a range of different Columbian food. Would recommend and visit again. Probably better value going for one of the lunchtime deals.
A lovely small restaurant. Interesting menu. Good food. Attentive staff. Priced fairly. Only thing stopping a full score is lack of choice on drinks menu. Only one gin option
Friendly staff who obviously care about the restaurant and the food. excellent food especially the salsa. really worth a visit ! ! ! ! !
Loved the atmosphere and decor was outstanding . Staff were polite and new the menu well. Food was excellent Definitely recommend highly . Well happy
Excellent food, incredible venue and wonderful staff, particular David who really made our evening. I would certainly recommend this place. To be honest, far better than many of the posh Michelin places I go to for work lunches in London :)
Lovely tasty food , great ambience . Staff really friendly . Definitely visit again , can’t wait for May 26th Salsa party free entry before 9pm . Our friends will love it.
Really lovely little place. Simple menu but good range of choices - food and service were great - ideal for pre-theatre drink or bite to eat.
Lovely place. Went with friends for a meal before going to the theatre. Great food at great prices and fab staff. First visit but won't be the last.
Excellent! Not my first visit but it was every bit as good as last time. Attentive and helpful staff who ensured we kept to our timetable (we had booked a concert afterwards). Food was excellent, good portions and something different. The hot chocolate is highly recommended! Five stars at least👌
Excellent restaurant. Love the choice of food and especially since it gluten free! Upstairs there was some dancing occuring which provided additional entertainment for our evening
Lovely food and ambience. Something a little different to try. The king prawns were amazing and the cocktails really packed a punch. The waiter and waitress were great. . Fair prices.
Tonight was a real treat, good atmosphere in authentic surroundings. We were made really welcome y all the staff, a good choice of both food and drinks. Our meal was served hot and very tasty with a good Colombian beer to go with it. Thanks to everyone, we will return. Robert Doughty.
Relaxed atmosphere. Had chilli con carne not massive portions but tasty and reasonably priced. Service efficient and friendly. Decor could do with a spruce up especially in the toilets.
4 of us had lunch there.Fairly quiet. The welcome was extremely friendly. We all enjoyed our main courses and our coffee and cake to finish.Would definitely revisit.
Absolutely fantastic, loved the food, loved the company, loved the music. Thank you very much for the hospitality. The waiter had fantastic knowledge of the food and helped with extra plates and cutlery.
We enjoyed the pre-theatre menu which was fantastic value for money and very nice. Busy and good atmosphere which I wasn't expecting for a Monday evening. Fabulous staff. Will definitely return.
A fantastic place to start our night out at the theatre in Leeds. Beautiful food, very friendly atmosphere and wonderful staff - will definitely be back :-)
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, fabulous food (it may have been the most sympathetically cooked steak I've had, falling apart). Knocked a point off because our inexperienced waitress apparently wasn't aware of the dessert offerings. Found out afterwards that there were plenty other desserts, one of which sounded lush. We'll definitely be back.
Good atmosphere and service, food was nice and it is a great place to just sit and chat with your friends with a drink. Would go again
Very well cooked and unusual food with excellent service. I particularly recommend the sharing plates. The perfect place for a pre-theatre supper if going to Leeds Grand Theatre.
Very good and inexpensive pre theatre meal with the alternative of an interesting a la carte with very nice house wines. The service was friendly, fun and efficient. An excellent pre theatre venue
Really friendly and helpful, efficient service and great food. The lady serving us choose a nice smooth coffee for me as I don’t really drink coffee and it was very drinkable. We felt relaxed and welcome, just choose a sharing platter of meat as we wanted a quick lunch and it didn’t disappoint.
Very friendly, excellent service, love it! This is a great place to come to for a pre-theatre meal. The vegetable croquettes were fantastic and the fish soup to die for.
Great food and happy attentive staff Variety and full of flavour Latin food Good drinks selection to accompany Great location particularly for theatre Overall excellent
Our fourth or fifth vist and a bit disappointing. Few specialities (except in starters) but standard sea bass fillet was fine. Understaffed, which may explain why the service was less friendly than on earlier visits.
A great homey place with a relaxed atmosphere. Unassuming but tasty and good-quality food, particularly the meat. We especially liked the empanadas and the llapingacho. Service was fast and solicitous.
A lovely busy restaurant with really nice food and atmosphere. Starters were a little slow to come but were freshly made and it was busy. The mains were right on time and also freshly cooked. There was a salsa class going on upstairs too
Really nice food and the staff have good chat. Caiparinha is worth trying too. The barbecued chicken (I think its pincho de pollo but might be a different one) was amazing and so was the llapingacho.
Great food & a lovely warm welcome and service . Lovely Columbian food with good prices and we were guided with our choices which didn't disappoint !
Great city centre restaurant with a family run feel. Owner took time to tell us all about the place. Authentic feel and lovely food with big portions.
Had a lovely meal here. As I was going to the theatre had the pre theatre deal which was good value for money. The service was very good and the staff very friendly.
The food was healthy and freshly prepared, as usual, although they'd sold out of a few things after a busy weekend. The waitress was very attentive and helpful and they serve great coffee!
fantastic food with really personal service, we enjoyed the mixed platter, washed down with Colombian draught beer. Feels authentic and personal, lovely smiling staff. Will definitely return
The restaurant is great and has a nice atmosphere. The staff is really nice and we had good food as well. Will come back :)
Cosy atmosphere, attentive waiter. The menu is varied, using global ingredients. Suitable for all dietary needs. My dish was very flavoursome and the prawns were cooked to perfection.
The lunchtime special menu no longer exists despite still being advertised on the website, slow service. Food was good but nothing special. Quite pricey for what it was.
The food was really nice and the atmosphere was great, although we went in the afternoon, so it was a bit quiet. We will definitely return but in the evening.
Would like to keep this restaurant a secret really as it is small and friendly. Good food, we were limited for time otherwise we would have stayed longer and tried their coffee. Will certainly be going again - in the not too distance hopefully.
