Went for my birthday with my mum, great afternoon tea and value for money would definitely recommend going. Great views and nice evening to sit outside on a sunny day
Lovely decorated restaurant with a good choice of food and wine options on the menu. Tables are well spaced. Service was prompt and efficient with good advice on dishes
Lovely atmosphere and fabulous food, waitress was fantastic and attentative. A bit chilly on the balcony but indoors was beautiful. We will definitely recommend to anyone.
The quality of the food was extremely disappointing. The waiting staff are friendly and professional, but the food is poor and the place is lacking in ambience and finesse. It is already looking shabby. It seems to attract hen parties and is definitely not a place for a romantic meal for two.
Loved it the staff are brilliant the food was superb and it was a good view lookin over Manchester I will definitely go there again
Food was amazing and service was excellent. The only down side is that the background music was far too loud making it virtually impossible to have a conversation.
Atmosphere good, staff friendly, good views in better weather, music from keyboard player not too loud. However I've had better food for the money we paid. My friend's steak was tough. I had calves liver, which was ok. The side dish of seasonal vegetables was good, apart from baby turnips that were raw. We shared a cheeseboard, which was fine. Being British we didn't complain! Having waited over 30 mins for our meal we didn't want to start all over again (we had been warned that a medium-well done steak would take 20 mins). The starters looked interesting but expensive but I didn't think I could manage one. Best bit was the cocktails. We had 2 for £10 and were a fun way to start our short break. If I went again I would have a starter and then try one of the fish dishes. It was a good way to see inside the hotel, which has very quirky/kitsch decorations and I would definitely go again in good weather if I could have a table outside!
A very Warm welcome awaits, fantastic evening and well looked after by Joel, would definitely pay them a visit again on our next visit to wonderful Liverpool!
This was part of a Spa package we purchased and whilst the afternoon tea was very nice I wouldn't say it was the highlight. The staff were friendly and the presentation was excellent, I would go back just for a meal at some point also.
Carpathia was a fantastic restaurant and all round experience. The wine was fantastic, the food phenomenal, the service exceptional and the views and setting, absolutely stunning!
Table was late . And the service was iffy .forgot potatoes off meal and i waited too long for coffee...wouldnt go back.not the experience i expected.
Stunning Location with spectacular 360° views of the City of Liverpool , Albert Dock & Liver Buildings. First class service whilst dining in the restaurant with our party. James maitre d was an absolute delight. Most welcoming and hospitable. A la carte food was delicious and beautifully served. Cocktails were flowing as was the fizz. Couldn't ask for more! Most definitely 5* Hard to beat in Liverpool. Highly Recommend Carpathia
