Excellent food in an excellent location. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Each course was exemplary and the post meal cocktails, a joy to finish a wonderful experience.
Lovely restaurant. Food was great and surroundings well decorated and furnished. Attentive waitress and staff . Be great in the summer on the balcony. Would visit again
Really enjoyable ! Compliments to the chef ! A lovely experience:-) The waitress was very accommodating, really friendly. Really enjoyable ! Compliments to the chef ! A lovely experience:-) The waitress was very accommodating, really friendly.
Pro's Tasty food Cons Poor service. No one returned to offer us a dessert menu after mains cleared so we got up and left after 30 mins. Drink order taken on arrival however no one returned to offer us another drink throughout duration of meal. Empty glasses from finishing starter to end of meal. Sat amongst two other couples therefore no privacy despite space available elsewhere. This poor service was when the restaurant was quite empty and staff standing around therefore wouldnt like to see it when busy!
Lovely meal in beautiful surroundings . Good service. Not high end, but enjoyable just the same. Feels like they are missing a trick: This is a gorgeous restaurant and with the right chef it could be quite special.
Lovely restaurant and well priced. Steak was very poor though. Asked for medium. Sent back first time as well done. Next time was rare. Everything was lovely though
Great food great service great night thank you would definitely come again this been our second vist and there will be definitely more to come
Lovely afternoon tea with a spectacular view of the city!
Had a lovely meal at carpathia in Liverpool. The food was really nice, the hotel, restaurant is really impressive. Will visit again. The staff were really helpful and friendly.
Very good food and service experience. A good waiter from Romania, Claudio working hard and being informative and friendly. Reasonably priced, Liverpool at its most welcoming.
Set menu good value for money. Food delicious and hot. Violin player excellent. Service awful. I'd like to visit again as food was so good but would be reluctant in view of service. There were only 2 tables having lunch with quite a few staff milling around in the back but clearly weren't interested in waiting on. Had to attract someone's attention to order food and drinks to start with. Then ordered more drinks when our main was served which didn't materialise. Our money was taken without even a thank you. Very disappointed. There seemed to be lots of washing up going on behind the curtain in the restaurant - very odd.
Really disappointing- food overcooked and over priced, , service poor, ambience poor (band too loud) and none of the promised views. Nothing to recommend it
Went for afternoon tea to celebrate my father’s 90th birthday. Could not have been better. Beautiful food. Excellent hospitality. Great view. Wonderful decor. And a fair price.
I made an online booking weeks ago for my mums special birthday. On arrival the girl looked at us blankly as though she didn’t believe I had pre-booked. We were eventually showed to a table set for afternoon tea then left to it. No member off staff came near. Finally we asked for menus, 10 mins later a young waitress told us there were none available so we would have to wait. Finally we got menus - no one came near to explain what the soup of the day was or the price of the set menu. We asked if we could order drinks- the waitress told me the rose prosecco was white and not pink. We asked for a bottle of rose prosecco- she came back from bar and said they had none but I could have champagne. Ordered a glass of prosecco instead, then asked for the rose prosecco by name and guess what... They had it! Total farce, no customer service at all. Our table was piled up with unwanted plates and cups when the food arrived. Young waitress then appeared with the bottle and she was in danger of taking someone’s eye out until the waiter ran over and took the bottle off her! The food was lovely however by this point my mums birthday meal did not feel special at all. The best was when the waitress came over as I was eating my steak to ask if I wanted a dessert! I had waited months to eat in this beautiful hotel and I am just glad we had not booked a room as well as the customer service was appalling.
Beautiful roof top restaurant with views over Liverpool Harbour and buildings. The decor was fantastic. Had breakfast on 2 mornings and 1 evening meal and couldnt fault any of it. Food was lovely staff very polite, friendly and gave good service. Nothing was too much trouble. A wonderful experience and if ever we are in Liverpool again we would come back here. Thank you xxx
A lovely overall experience, great surroundings, friendly staff and good food. Game terrine, roast rabbit with rabbit spring rolls and black pepper strawberry tart. Yummy.
Absolutely fantastic meal for my boyfriend's birthday. I had mentioned whilst making my reservation that this was the occassion, and upon arrival were given a free bottle of prosecco which was very much appreciated. Excellent service throughout and food was delicious! Very lovely time, thank you.
It was our second time there as we don't live in the area, but we enjoyed it so much at our previous visit, we came back. The cocktails outside are fabulous and what a view! Sadly on this occasion 1 of the 3 of us had to complain about the steak. It was not cooked how she had asked and had fat running through it making it very chewy. She couldn't eat it. We did have a discount on the bill but the moment of enjoyment had gone. We had a table at 9pm which I know is late, but they were on offer and with the Giants being there it was the only time they had left. While we were still eating, the chairs were on the table and they were cleaning round- not very professional and we felt like we had to leave. Shame after such a good initial experience but we will not return when we come back to Liverpool the next time.
Firstly we arrived at the wrong restaurant as this is marketed as linked to the titanic so that’s where we went only to be told this happens all the time. Had to get a another taxi back to this restaurant . Arrived in a lovely hall and life to the restaurant. Given a table by the window and the menu . It was so dark we had to use our mobile phone torch to read the menu so not a good start. Eventually given a candle. Menu limited and nothing on the starters was to mine or my partners liking esp after we hadn’t eaten all day so we were disappointed. The main course whilst it was good was very scarce leaving us wanting more again not good when you have been travelling all day and had little food. We were looking forward to a nice meal but left feeeling hungry. The desert sounded great a chocolate brownie but never seen one so small in all my life again felt very let down and under sold. Would not return again as when we go out we like something to eat not something pretty and fancy. Not a restaurant that makes you feel like you had a great meal in great environment. Sorry but a real let down on a special occasion.
Early tea time packed with large tacky hen do’s. Staff friendly but too busy moving furniture for the next big crowd. Although food was nice, had to ask for salt, pepper, napkins...the basics of a ‘high end’ restaurant surely?
Fabulous food, great setting & service in an iconic building. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are dining out in Liverpool. Would definitely visit again.
Lovely restaurant, staff very friendly and food was great too, bit small servings and quite pricey but overall we had a lovely meal beautiful view of the city.
Not the best, was double charged on initial bill, was then corrected and we paid but then realised afterwards are 20% discount had not been applied after informing the staff we were hotel guests. Told reception in the morning and spoke to the restaurant manager who said this was our fault but then decided to take my number and said he would call me back after speaking to his manager but have not heard anything since. meal was also very small for the price and not alot on the menu to choose from
Staff were helpful and pleasant The food was good Live music which was nice not to loud still able to have a conversation A pleasant visit Would visit again
Nice food but nothing very special also the waitress chewed gum throughout which was a little distracting. For a nice restaurant there were alot of people including teens/children in tracksuits, it was a special occasion and my husband was a little disappointed he has picked it for me.
Disappointed. Service poor. Food poor. Only table in there and yet loads of tables just left dirty with used plates and glasses on them. Waitress then loudly told her colleague she was extremely hungover and felt like sh*t. Paid £90 and would rather have gone to McDonalds.
Food was ok, a little bit bland, not what we expected for the price! Service was good but a little bit rushed felt that we were rushed to finish our food, pay and go so that they could clear for the next customer!! Will visit roof top bar again but won't be rushing back to the resteraunt soon.
lovely food great service definitely recommend and will be coming back soon.
Absolutely amazing service, staff and food! The chefs and staff went out of their way to accommodate us for our 5th anniversary and i would highly recommend anyone to dine here
Pleasant & Helpful staff, I had the fillet of beef which was lovely my husband had the Duck which he enjoyed. Desserts returned as dry.
Easy to book. Rang to request special treatment for mum’s 75th Birthday! Rewarded with attentive staff and complimentary fizz! Excellent venue, food & service! Thank you!
Excellent food and service! Singer is excellent too. Pity the waiter service for the terrace had stopped when we arrived at 7.30pm so long queue for drinks. The view on one side blocked by new building now which is a pity.
Great staff, very friendly and offered complementary proseco and a non-alcoholic drink as it was my graduation to the whole party. Thank you very much!
Attended for our anniversary as we got married here 2 years ago. We were left a bit disappointed as there wasn’t any fuss made of us and there was a couple sitting behind us who received a complimentary cake stand for their anniversary. We ordered afternoon tea which was nice and plenty of sandwiches and wraps etc but unfortunately the pot of cream for the scones had a strawberry in which had mould on, we informed the waiter and he brought over another one which also had mould on. We informed the supervisor and she apologised and discounted our bill which we were grateful for but it had already took the shine off our meal and experience.
Excellent view, great service and a lovely atmosphere. We were there to celebrate our son’s graduation and received a free prosecco on arrival and were well looked after throughout
I told them it was my birthday before hand and they didn’t do anything for that. The scaffolding blocked the gorgeous view. The food was lovely but the inclusive menu time wasn’t mentioned online.
Very disappointing as Restaurant is for tourist trade. Large party have great fun while we eat. Prices high for iOS supplied. Restaurant loooks tired and cheap
The restaurant was extremely well laid out, lovely decor and a great view of Liverpool Waterfront if you choose to sit outside on the terrace. The choice of food isn’t extensive but everything was well cooked & well presented. Personal recommendation would be for the chicken breast. A great venue if you are looking to impress for a first date.
Stunning food, loved the lamb, great service from Jacob. A perfect evening. A real favourite restairannt of purs. Loved the carpathia fizz cocktail. See you again soon
Lovely venue, but the night we went (Tuesday), the service was average at best. Very pricey wine and food was unexciting. First visit, and disappointed.
Menu had significantly less choices than what was in their online menu. The online menu was already small. The welcome into the restaurant was poor and then we were guided to a table in the centre( not at the window as requested. We were informed that the restaurant was fully booked but on arrival only had two other tables in. So we walked out after bring ignored for several minutes despite the lack of customers.
ok if you don't look up and see the storage area on the next floor not in keeping with rest of décor you wouldt get this on Titanic
Nice atmosphere , live entertainment singer was very good, service was excellent. No draught beers and bottle selection was a bit expensive. Out of stock of several first choice wines we ordered was disappointing - not particulary busy at the time. Probably best going for the early bird menu rather than than later.
Great experience with my Girlfriend and I. The only complaint we can have was that lots of people kept walking past our table, which is only a very small complaint. The food was absolutely beautiful and the drinks were amazing. Definitely worth a trip
Just returned from birthday meal for our daughter.Meal was wonderful ,we have not eaten here before but will certainly return. Our evening was made even better thanks to our waiter James M he was very attentive to our needs and when he knew it was our daughter's birthday he arranged for cake and candle to be brought to our table at the end of our meal
A good venue, we sat outside for pre meal drinks, service was very slow indeed. When we were shown to our dinner table it was not set and the dining area was very noisy and rather chaotic. The food was very good and the staff polite but rushed. Would maybe consider returning at a different time of day if service were to improve.
Beautiful restaurant, amazing food and staff wonderful and attentive with nothing being too much bother. The view from the balcony is amazing. Liked it so much, I have already re-booked.
OVer rated and over priced! After being seated at our table waited 15 mins before giving up and going to ask if anyone would take our order. Dried out sandwiches arrived, no teapot on the table- just the waitress pours you a cup and departs. Had to go and ask for milk. No prosecco arrived although we had ordered it- and were then billed for it! All in all a disappointing experience and definitely not worth £20 each!!
Food was excellent but service could have been better. Shown to our table but had to ask a passing waiter for drinks. Pity service not as quick as being given the bill.
Service was terrible. Bill was just thrown onto the table waitress very rude. Food was tasty but only warm and a very long wait for drinks.
