Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Great service and food in friendly surroundings

This was the fourth time I and my family have eaten in the Domenico and have found it an excellent experience each time. The owners are warm hearted, generous people. For only one person serving, the service and attention are amazing. Great atmosphere always. It is my chosen place to go when in Ediburgh. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Domenico!

Tony on top form as usual and chef outstanding food. Specials were amazing tonight and our 2 year old loved his pasta with meatballs. Never had a bad meal in the 4 years we’ve been. Best Italian in Edinburgh. You won’t be disappointed!

Our first time here and it was brilliant. We had lasagne and frutti di mate, and they were both delicious and plentiful!! We left with full bellies and happy faces 🙂 we will be back to get our hands on some wraps next time!

As always the service was amazing. It was our 1st wedding anniversary and we were made to feel quite special. Staff are wonderful and very attentive. Love this wee restaurant. Food is always delicious, and the portions are very generous too.

My first visit for dinner and it won't be my last. Excellent menu with so much creativity and no bog standard dishes that are rife on other Italian menus. Would love to see them stock a couple of local beers though but still five gold stars.

Really great food and friendly service. Service was a bit slow at times due to a full restaurant and only a couple of servers but they did it with a smile and sense of humour. Would recommend

Charming staff, busy family run cafe. Lots of people collecting take away lunches and you go past these to the tiny seating area beyond. Lovely food. Good wine - all offered by the glass if desired. Just right. Unsurprising it is so populat.
