Arrived early for our reservation and the restaurant was able to cope with our arrival. The food on the menu was most authentic and cooked very well. The staff were very attentive and provided good service. I just could not quite put my finger on what let down the atmosphere of this lovely restaurant. Maybe too clean and tidy ?

Food was exceptional, staff friendly and attentive. I don't visit enough, first visit was a decade ago, I like introducing family to it though which is what last night was. I enjoy just popping in for a bowl of their amazing borscht but I had the Moldavian Gouvetch last night, I usually have the blintzes, gouvech was delicious, my aunt had the crispy ravioli and uncle had the beef stroganov, no complaints from any of us.

Great tasting and unique food. I had the Moldavian Gouvetch (veg. casserole with lavash bread) and the Kutuzov Cake honey cake for dessert. Two delightful dishes that I doubt I would find elsewhere in Glasgow! Nice decor and good ambience and service as well. Top marks.

Food good, but understaffed. Not the staff's fault, but management should ensure there are enough staff on to avoid disgruntled customers - one table near us walked out while two other tables complained loudly to each other about the service.

It was a really good experience. My first time trying Russian food. Everything was really good, food was really mild but very tasty and not heavy at all which was a nice surprise. The beer options were good and we end up trying Lituanian beer which was excellent. If you are in please try the desserts, specially the tortik fantastika.

We had a lovely time, on a busy Saturday night (8 people and a baby.) The food was interesting, tasty and a change from the usual for the vegetarians and meat-eaters. Service was friendly and attentive. Cocktails and other drinks were a great price. The hardened drinkers in our group thought the drinks could have appeared faster, but I thought it was fine. We liked the Russian influenced decor too. Cheers/ypa

Fantastic Restaurant and experience. Food was excellent, I had borsch, a dish I have had several times in Kyiv, and it was great. Lots of choice from all areas of not only Russia but all over the former Soviet republics, North west Russia and baltic cuisine, Siberian dishes, Balkan region dishes and south west Russian and caucasus region dishes. A wide variety of dishes cooked to a high standard. The decor is great, and all staff are very nice people and the are very accommodating and friendly, just like similar restaurants I have been to in eastern Europe, fantastic Slavic hospitality!

Food was ok but not great and there was not too much of it for the price. Service was really not that good, we sat at a table that appeared to be invisible as we had to chase the staff up when wanting to order anything for every course we had and it wasnt busy at the time either so not really an excuse there.

Café Cossachok is a unique Russian restaurant rather than a cafe. It serves unique Russian food and beers in a very eclectic setting. The service was good and the staff polite and helpful. We have been twice and would go again

Filled pancakes were delicious as was the beetroot and salted herring starter. Lunch for two was great value -two starters, two main courses, a beer and a Russian coffee was just £20. Generous helpings too.

Excellent. Great food and service. Their tailored lunch menu gives you a chance to try different things. They were flexible, halving the a la carte Vareniki amount so it was appropriate for a child.

As good as ever. Fabulous food, friendliest staff, lovely relaxed atmosphere and last but not least, the best (and cheapest) cocktails ever, and not rushed at any time. I don't drink vodka but the hazelnut was so good I stole my son's! We were a family of 8 including my granddaughter and everyone had a great time. Waitress was lovely and so nice with my granddaughter. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. My husband has taken work associates there for a relaxing night and we have also gone there with friends, everyone has had a great time, without exception. Can't recommend this place highly enough. I have given full marks for noise as there is no deafening music although it can get noisy purely due to chatter (especially if you have a family of 8 drinking cocktails!)

Great service, friendly atmosphere, and the food it really tasty. First time we had tried this style of food and were very pleasantly surprised. Be careful of the hazelnut vodka, you get addicted to it very very easily it just slips down a treat
