Lovely restaurant great location good food and service. Fairly priced
Nice place to come and eat. Was a little busy after the football match but the food was lovely all the same. Would definitely visit again
Ate here lots of times never a bad meal steak nights were good value
food is lovely here different choices on menu to usual places
Restaurantwas closed and never informed me so totaly spoiled mine and wifes anniversary. Very very dispossessed wirh in the service would have atleast expected a email
The staff were so helpful and were able to adjust foods to fit in with my husband’s food intolerances. We had a lovely evening and both agreed that the food was delicious.
Gorgeous food and very reasonable. Lovely, relaxing decor and the view from our table was incredible. Great portion sizes for the price and the steak was perfectly cooked!
We had a Lovely meal for Valentine's Day and fabulous service right through out the night. Food was excellent, we really enjoyed the evening! Thank you!
Excellent meal best steak I've tasted, lovely atmosphere. Menu was varied and service good also a really beautiful but calm atmosphere, defo will be back.
First visit to Hudson quay. Efficient friendly service, with a good choice on the menu. Food was served piping hot and was delicious. Will be visiting again.
Had a meal here with my wife before treating her to the football. The food was wonderful, atmosphere & view down at the quay was different to anywhere else in town. A great place to have lunch (and dinner). Will definitely be back for more!
Wonderful evening at the Brasserie with work colleagues. Very calming atmosphere, staff are very welcoming and look after the minute you walk through the door.
Restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. Food tasted amazing and good choice on the menu. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Would definitely come again, thank you
Food was lovely but service was very slow. Our table was booked for 8pm. Our order was taken at 8.30pm. Our starters arrived at 9.30pm & our mains at 10pm. The restaurant wasn't very busy so I'm not sure how long we would have waited if it had of been. We probably won't be coming back.
Had a lovely evening. Staff greeted us showed us to our table & service was good. Food was lovely. Well presented full of flavour excellent evening.
Great atmosphere, great service, great food ( especially the prawns). First time there and we will back. Interesting location with views across the river. Good menu
absolutely sensational food and drink. ambience was perfect. fantastic night all round.
It was really great food and amazing service! I would totally recommend this restaurant, particularly for their Sunday lunch. I will definitely go back there again.
Lovely venue and very friendly staff. Interesting menu which obviously had a lot of thought out into it. Food was good and portion size was ample (probably more than ample). Would definitely go again.
Beautiful restaurant, the service was amazing and the food was delicious. We had an offer with steak and pasta for two people for £20 I thought the steak wouldn’t be up to much getting 2 for £20, I was wrong!! Will definitely be returning.
Had the lunch special, crispy haddock and chips, followed by home made scone with cream and jam, top quality, great service highly reccommended, great value for money
Food was absolutely lovely. But have to be honest it’s very overpriced. If it was in a city centre maybe understand but not Middlesbrough. Eat out every weekend and would of returned but would definitely think twice now
Superb food, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended. Will definitely be going back either for an evening meal or lunchtime special some time very soon.
Excellent food and service. Best Sunday lunch we've had in a while. Good value for money too. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for good.lunch or dinner menus.
Food was not what I expected for the price such as the pork been chewy. Cocktails were very bland and there was only 2 staff on the floor 1 of which did not know much about what different drinks they offered.
From start to finish this was a great night for the family. The services was spot on and the wine / food were all fantastic. You would not believe you were in Middlesbrough as this restaurant is way above anything else in town. Would highly recommend it
Just one or two things stopped it being perfect. No Italian meringue with the lemon tart and one dessert served very late. However they accommodated other changes with ease including offering the Chorizo risotto as a main dish. The fish and chips were delicious, steaks cooked to perfection and a huge serving of lasagne. Service was a little chaotic with desserts and this did take the shine off the evening but not enough for us not to go back and more than happy to recommend it to other diners.
We made our choices from the lunchtime menu, but on ordering were told that 2 of 6 options were not available. This was quite disappointing, but 3 of our party of 4 chose again. The carbonara we chose instead was OK, but lacked flair. It was visually quite plain and there was very little pancetta. The desserts were great, as was the haddock and chips.
Preordered for the Christmas lunch which was incredible. Perfect food and although there was only me and my partner in the restaurant the atmosphere was also perfect. Couldn’t have asked for better. They even putt little crackers on the table for us by the window
fantastic place for food the best in the area by far - service great friendly staff background music was superb - not rushed or pestered by staff -
What a sublime setting, truly beautiful restraint, beautiful food, and staff that simply could not do enough for you i couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate my partners 50th Birthday, simply sublime, thank you all
My dad is 80 years old and can't walk as far as he used to. For that reason we started visiting Brasserie Hudson Quay after Boro matches, as it's only a hundred metres or so from the ground. Sometimes we have a drink or two and on other times we have a meal. There's always a warm welcome and the staff have always gone out of their way to ensure my dad is comfortable. On our most recent visit (25 Nov 2017) we had an excellent meal. Bread and olives to start followed by cod, scallops and prawns in a lovely tomato seafood broth. We finished with the cheese plate. We'll be back to eat there again in the near future.
We were veryhappy with our visit today. The food was brilliant as were the staff. Looking forward to heading back soon maybe on an evening. As for Sunday lunch Hudson quay will be our go to place when we look to dine out!
Great service as usual! Always made to feel very welcome.
Great food and drinks and friendly service even when busy and overall a great atmosphere ! Somewhere different and best restaurant in Middlesbrough in my view.
Absolutely fantastic best Sunday lunch I've ever eaten lovely staff can't wait to go back again would recommend this place to anyone try it you won't be disappointed
We ordered the steak and it was the best steak we’ve had anywhere, my partner asked for it to be blue and they did it brilliantly. The peppercorn sauce was also yummy and potion sizes were big. Restraunt atmosphere and setting was gorgeous
This place is amazing! Beautiful food, great atmosphere and very good service! It’s a little bit more expensive than your usual meal, but 100% worth the money! Great for special occasions! 10/10
Excellent restaurant. Great atmosphere and the service was great can’t wait to go back
Cocktail menu was quite sparse. Food and ambiance were very good. Service very good and attentive. No gluten free bread available even though a gluten intolerant guest was booked
Service in this restaurant was fantastic. The atmosphere was great, good music and more importantly great food. Cant wait to back again with friends and family.
We arrived early but were seated straight away which was great. The restaurant was clean and contemporary and the staff welcoming. I received a free mocktail because I had mentioned I was driving and the others ordered wine, which was a nice touch. The food itself was delicious. On a less positive note, only half our starter arrived, we had to ask 3 times for a jug of water, and after we had eaten (we took quite some time as we were chatting - but the restaurant was almost empty) we felt rushed to pay the bill and leave. We were asked if we wanted the bill, then asked if ewe wanted the card machine a little later. We paid but my friends still had som wine to drink. A little later we were asked if we wanted to pay again! We went to the loo on the way out. When we came out of the loo, the lights were off and the staff were stood at the door with their taxis waiting.
We had a table next to the river so watched the world go by, food marvellous, and staff very pleasant. Will definitely go back to the brasseri.
We just love it there the staff are great really look after us,we go early when it is quite the food is great cooked just the way we like it and my husband had the King prawns and he didn't want them to end just gorgeous.
we booked our table for four on the internet with no issues when we arrived at the restaurant we were greeted with a smile and shown to a table of our choice a member of staff took our coats whilst another presented us our menu's and took our drinks order we were given time to choose our food each of us choose a three course each course came will presented with staff asking if we required anything else, we all thought the standard of food was excellent with a nice relaxing atmosphere we had very pleasant evening and will definitely be returning Pete m/bro
The food was lovely, really nice environment and good selection of drinks. We were a little disappointed with the selection of vegetables on the Sunday lunch menu but when we mentioned this the staff gave us a free desert which was unexpected and great service. Will definitely visit again
Great Sunday lunch. Friendly service from all of the waiting staff. The chorizo and crayfish tail risotto was absolutely sensational and the chefs should be very proud of that dish.
Best restaurant in town, food , staff and ambience excellent , been going to this place for quite a few years now and never disappointed
Too dark inside , staff friendly to adults but clearly not pleased our Grandchildren were there (ages 2 1/2 - 6 ) food ok. There were 21 of us at our table so we spent quite a bit and we're still charged 25p for a glass of water ! Also tried to charged for a starter that hadn't been ordrered and I pre ordered the food ! It was nice of a member of staff to ring and let me know my daughter had lost her bracelet and they had put it in the office for safe keeping .
First time visiting for Sunday dinner. Very very nice. Staff were very friendly and the food was very nice. Would definitely recommend. Would go in the future.
