Excellent meal, great staff and great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this for people who live in sale and the surrounding areas. Brilliant brilliant brilliant !

Restaurant was full, waiters rushed off their feet, but service was ok, food fine. Seating was a bit cramped , felt a bit wedged in. Hence only a 4

Very nice cosy atmosphere. Sea Bass in a Baked case of salt was especially good. Bit pricey but well worth it. Would recommend this restaurant.

Excellent early bird menu, great value, great chioce. Portions big & quality of food fantastic, absolutely gorgeous. Service very good, will be returning very soon.

When we arrived the table wasn’t ready so we went next door for a drink before. Spent 45 minutes at the bar next door as asked to drink slowly came back, table still wasn’t ready! Was then squashed in to a circular table. We then waited a while for drinks, starters were late, main courses were late with one missing and one incorrect. The incorrect one was because they had ran out and just brought out an alternative rather than asking first! So we had two people eating at separate times! They then only offered us a shot at the end of the meal. Over all it took us nearly 3 hrs to have two courses! Food was great when it arrived but service was terrible! Would only recommend on a quiet night where you would hope they can get the orders right.

Should have known better than to have booked for Mother's Day. They had obviously overbooked and could not cope with the numbers. Food overall was good when it eventually arrived though one of the orders was incorrect and returned. Waited ages for the dessert menu to come and then we got fed up with waiting to order decided not to bother. We asked for the bill which took over 20 minutes to come and then was incorrect. I had also paid a £50 deposit because we were a party of 10 and that appears to be their policy which is fine, but they omitted to deduct it from our bill until I queried the fact. Overall not the best of experiences and will not be rushing back.

New owner/chef according to the people dining next to us. Think the food quality has gone down. Ok seafood starters followed by perfectly edible but bland pizzas. Shame. Took 4 attempts to get water delivered to the table. Free drink at the end of the meal.

Fantastic food and service as always. The set menus have changed along with the available times but in my opinion this is even better

Outstanding salt baked sea bass, friendly staff and delicious food... Relaxed vibe, felt like we were in Italy. The flavours, the hospitality made for a great night. What more could you ask for?

Not quite up to their usual standard. Service was a bit chaotic and hurried. New menu also does not seem as good as before and the steaks have increased in price significantly.

This is a brilliant little Italian restaurant with fantastic service and even better food

Lovely restaurant food delicious and service excellent. Lots of choice and the fish is highly recommended. There is a midweek 2 course menu for £12.95 or 3 courses for £16.95 both e client value.

friendly helpful staff, nice ambiance, good menu with plenty of choices as well as a specials board. We had the sea bass baked in salt which was nice, but nothing special, but overall the food was good and reasonably priced.

Am amazing meal. Fantastic staff made my son feel so welcome on his birthday. Could not have asked for better. Will be returning. Could not find a fault with the food. The ribs were amazing so were the mussels now there would be a starter combo.

Excellent food and service - especially for a busy Saturday night. Eight people, all served at the same time and everyone enjoyed their meal. Would highly recommend this restaurant

Food was excellent but there was an hour delay before the starter arrived. The staff apologies at the end explaining it was due to the fact they had a large party in that night.

Beautiful food , lovely staff and excellent service. We sat in one of the booth areas which was a really nice set up. Will definitely be returning. I had the ribs to start which literally fell off the bone and the chicken risotto which was very tasty.

The service and quality of the food is excellent. We’ve been many times and always enjoy the atmosphere and the food. One of the better restaurants in Sale.

Food was OK but service very slow, tables located too close together and they got the wine order wrong. Not the first time we were disappointed here, so won't be returning.

OK Restaurant let down by the confusion with the menus, we had gone in for the early bird menu at 5.30 on Saturday, we asked for the Early Bird Menu which the waiter advised was only Monday - Friday and Sundays, thinking we had got this wrong we ordered from the main menu only to find out later that on the website it clearly states Saturday 4pm - 6pm I would expect the restaurant and waiters to know about the menus and times, we was made to feel as though we had misread the website.

The food was excellent, the starter we chose from the specials board and the too was great. The stuff were attentive even though they were busy.

As always a wonderful experience. Great food and even better service. The lobster ravioli is my absolute favourite and even though I vow to try something else from the menu I always change my mind at the very last moment.

Food was delicious, staff friendly and efficient as always. The restaurant was really busy but we received first class service. We will definitely be visiting Borrello again.

No milk for coffee, this is the second time this has happened! My son and I are both gluten free and our choice of starters and desserts were unavailable . Asked for water several times before eventually were given some.

Excellent meal and fantastic service!! Would recommend to anyone -can't wait to return. Would recommend the garlic bread, Pollo Alla Borello and the rib eye steak.

Lovely restaurant, good service good value and great lobster ravioli, the 1.5. sitting was rushed and we were not aware that we only had that time which was a shame

The service was okay despite the fact that the restaurant was packed and they were short staffed. I will definitely recommend this restaurant anytime and anyday because they serve amazing meals and the atmosphere is lovely

The staff at Borello are so friendly and welcoming and the food is absolutely fantastic so I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves Italian.
